Not a great experience with kids facilities and care takers. Tried booking for kids, no answer with the number that is on the website. Staff looking after kids in the kids facilities where not friendly and did not allow kids to touch anything, every time they touched something they had to wash their hands. Even when they fell or touched each other they were forced to wash their hands.

Great atmosphere and well maintained equipment.

Tried to open a membership on Vitality but was given the run around for a month. Once I finally got it done they didnt include my Vitality discount and so they debited the full Premier cost without including the Vitality discount which they spent a month activating.Now I am running after them to get my money back. What is with this gym. I advise everyone to just go to another gym cause 2020 messed it up.

Great gym all round , most equipment is modern , and theres more than enough for everyone. As like all other virgins , it has it times when its jam-packed and and its quieter times . Otherwise I enjoy working out here, really have no complains , its clean , its mature and friendly .you bump into the whose who here

Most unfriendly non customer centric gum Ive ever been too. The first time I came with my wife who signed up, and we almost had our baby go to the play area when we were told that our 6 month old baby was not allowed to cry for.more than 2 minutes continuously (not because she was crying, but as a proactive warning from there end. Pathetic customer service). Then I came with my wife to the Kauai (which has far better service than the gym) and was told that Im not allowed to enter the gym. All round, just the worst experience Ive ever seen from any front desk on any sort of business.

Friendly staff, clean facilities. Good quality classes and equipment. Enough weights ranging from 1kg to 60kg dumbbells, as well as plates ranging from 2.5kg - 20kg.

Amazing gym, very friendly staff. The gym was also recently revamped completely. Its equipped with state of the art equipment and always working and in good condition!

Great place for working out and it is a beautiful place

Love it. Staff are super friendly, gym is always clean. Its a pleasure to visit. My one negative is when the swim coach books three lanes and ends up with 2 kids in one lane and the others are open but the adult swimmers cant use the empty lanes and sometimes there are up to three adults sharing a lane.

Great gym, professional staff

Its a good gym, it just gets really really full so its sometimes difficult to get a chance to use the weights or machines you actually want to use. Some of the personal trainers set up lil circuits for their clients effectively using more than one piece of equipment at a time. The equipment is old and worn. Other than that the staff are great and if you time it right you will have a good time there.

I spend 6 to 7 days a week here to work out. Friendly staff, expert instructors, and good facilities. The lovely outside view is a bonus.

Went there to try an open a membership, the staff made me waiting 30 mins before getting assistance. Long story short decided to not open my membership anymore.

So happy to be back at this gym, 5 years of membership & always a very happy experience

Well maintained compact gym with clean change rooms, showers and pool. Ample underground parking. Gym recently upgraded.

That place is the heaven on earth but now we can’t go there due to covid-19 ehich we all hope to pass soon. I missed that place a lot and am very excited to go back there and train as crazy as I can :)

The gym has a great vibe. Always in the mood for a good workout when there. Reception is good and staff are usually helpful and friendly. Change rooms are adequate with lockers that are clean and in good order however loo facilities as well as hand basins require some serious attention. The other gripe I have is that there is a shortage of the right equipment which means one ends up having to wait for certain equipment to become available which really spoils the quality of ones workout.

All machines are 100% funtional. One complaint is that it does it busy at certain times of the day so you need to plan accordingly. Besides that amazing gym.

One of the smaller virgin active gyms with a limited variety of group exercises available. The staff in reception can be more helpful when resolving queries. Tebz is great, Olebogeng not.

Small weight lifting section

The best Virgin Active I have been to. Its one of the bigger ones, it has all of the equipment that you would expect to find in a gym and even a swimming pool! What makes them stand out is their classes, they have a lot more classes than some of the other Virgin Actives I have been to. Be sure to check their website for a complete list before you go!

The staff looking after my daughter at ClubV are absolutely the best! Ive also seen their response in an emergency situation and trust them fully with my child! Fascilities are good to!

Great fitness center. WiFi available. Lots of machines. Large pool. Sauna and steam room in locker room. Locker rooms are kept very neat and clean. Blow dries and straighteners are available for use.The cafe on site has delicious food. Also serves healthy shakes and coffee.

Bad service great faciltiy. One of the Virgin Active personal trainers (Andre) not mentioning names failed to offer the training classes.

Logged a feed back complaint about the mopping that occurs during workout hours on Sundays, and recieved a very polite response. Im impressed, will change my vote to 5 stars as soon I see some changes. Thank you for listening

Clean, neat, big

What more do you need? Best gym in my neighborhood and they also have a v-club so the kids can have some fun while you gym. They also have a Kuai that offers healthy foods and shakes.

I come here often. The service is good and the gym is always clean. Sometimes the layout can cause a bit of foot traffic but otherwise it provides a good gym experience.

Well appointed and lots of programs. Staff friendly. Children taken care of while parents are exercising. Lots of safe undercover parking. Vehicle valet services in the parking area.

Due to a water pipe problem in Garsfontein I called Park View Virgin Active to ask if we could train there. The manager was friendly and said we were welcome to train and shower at Parkview. Keep up the good work!

I enjoy this gym as the staff does their part in making it work, the weight section can get cramped.The gym is clean and there a lot of interesting and different machines. One of the only gyms Ive seen with Assault Bikes.Sauna & steam room facilities, although the sauna needs some TLC as it doesnt keep the heat

The two ladies at the reception area were very rude. Shame I didnt get their names... However they were completely unhelpful and one of them proceeded to confront me about writing about my experience in the suggestion box! If they are going to work at the front desk, then perhaps some training in customer care is needed.

The staff doesn’t seem to understand their computer systems, so you’re harassed each day when you come in that you “don’t have a picture on file”. I’ve had FIVE photos taken in the first week of membership and keep getting harassed that I’ve apparently failed something. Juliette, the manager, needs to make sure her staff understands how computers work and what a “save” button is.Also, “ free WiFi Access” is a joke and should not be listed as an amenity. The WiFi is slower than 1996 dial-up Internet. Getting WhatsApp messages barely works.

Disgusted at how one of the ladies in the club V area treat the children..... I was there today picking my son up from club V, somebody was coming out and held the door for me so I went in, and I was waiting for the one lady to notice me but she was to busy yelling at some children there who was busy colouring in - not even being naughty and running around or anything - screaming at them and slamming her hands over the crayon box telling them they must go play in the jungle gym - I confronted het about it and her excuse was she always talk to the kids like that, they dont mind! To me it was very inappropriate! And I will be seeing the club manager on Monday
