They gave my order to someone else....I had to wait more than an hour for my order

Good proximity for students area, the night life and for late workers too, great staff & I love the service offer. Security is tight around the area its very safe to eat there or grab a takeaway. The new branding gives it a glow.

The food is always great .I love the fact that your franchise keeps the same standard everywhere .I like having my breakfast with a cup of coffee while working on my coding projects @ Mcdonalds.I also notice that there is still a bit room for improvement in terms of customer service and self service .Self Service : I enter the table number on the bot as I went to the till the number was already taken .solution : If a table number is taken I feel like its a good user/Customer experience to let the customer know that the number you entered is taken.Customer Service : The time I was about to purchase my meal at the till not sure if the system froze or restarted (the computer to order at the till) and waited about 4 minutes without knowing whats going on until they tell me that they restated it .This was not a big problem but I also feel like if there is something wrong the customer should be notified right at that moment in that way customers will feel respected more and it will increase the relationship between the franchise and the customer .

Wow Hatfield McDonalds. The very first time we decide to buy from you and our milkshakes tasted as if you added half a cup of sugar and the other half was whatever liquid you use to make milkshake. So unacceptable! I had 2 sips and that was it, could have been sick if I finished that shake🤦🏽‍♀️

We tried the drive thru but found a long que of cars which seemed like they took forever to move along so we decided to go inside the store and buy them OTC which seemed relatively quicker. The staff adhere to Covid-19 regulations, counters tops, tables and the store as a whole is clean, and the staff is friendly.

Had a late.night macflurry went as expected so ok

I visited the restaurant again today. New setting and it looks absolutely amazing. Its even more spacious now and you can enjoy your meal in store. I was very pleased with the service, one of their staff members assisted me in placing an order and even recommended a meal for me, The BIG Tasty. It was very tasty😍overall customer service was great, the food was fresh, the restuarant was clean and the atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant to the students around Hatfield, everyone working in the area as well as the general public and those passing by.

The restaurant number that is provided on the tillslip is invalid.The telephone number on the tillslip does not exist.The telephone number on the website has been cut off.I ordered a regular sprite and they gave me soda water with ice.If it was possible I would say zero stars

I have been coming to this McDonalds for many years now. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes not, it is a gamble. It is very small compared to some other franchises but ideally located between all the places. Because they serve so many people in student central, they get very busy and you might need to wait a little longer than you planned for.

Only giving a star because Im forced to. If i could I would go into the negative stars. Walked in to try and redeem an in-app deal before being told by the teller that she would call the manager and being asked to step to the side. We waited for 30 minutes before asking where the manager was before being told that the teller had done everything that she could and that it was no longer her problem. Ive never had such bad service from a fast food outlet in my life.

You can only grab a quick bite there, its not like the macdonalds were you can host a birthday. You can see that its like, just for that quick bite. Pretty small. Also, if you planning to eat there, take a jacket cause its outside where youre eating.

The traffic terrible. Finding parking is a serious headache. The place is crowded and a bit filthy... Its a sad sight really..Keep your belongings close, maybe. I dont know. Its bad. Simple.

The lady at the collect section is super slow with a stinking attitude. Shes the reason wed opt for robots and no human contact anymore. Shes bad for business and building brand loyalty with new customers.

Lines are pretty much always hectic. The place where the McDonald is in aint so closed. Its next to the busy road and busy people. So you cant really eat in peace. But nevertheless great service and fast. Just your typical every day McDonalds.

This place is small and is not very quick with their service especially at night. Always check your order as they may mix them up at times. The food is always fresh though so that is what matters at the end I guess

This is an in-and-out kind of takeout restaurant, usually flocked by the students of Hatfield. There is literally one table to sit on, on the inside of the restaurant but that is used as a waiting area for orders. If you want to sit down and eat, be ready to eat outside.

Ive never seen a place with a bad customer service like that! I mean they are understaffed, and its always busy there. So obviously, the food takes a long time to arrive and their staff members are not nice to their clients (students)

Good food. Decent service. Dont like the presence of multiple beggars rights by the fence asking customers for food.

It is spacious and the service is wonderful, the manager ensures that everything runs accordingly and everyone gets their order on time.

New ordering system helps speed up the delivery.. A little delayed though when it comes to simple orders such as ice cream or a cold drink.. Just thought to put such info there so as to request possibly more staff.

Horrible service, they took forever with just ice-cream and this was not the first I got such terrible services. But anyways the food still takes like the good old Macdonalds, they are just going to test your patience.

Poor poor service! On the 9th of June I bought a caramel coated ice cream. I literally waited for 45 minutes and had to leave because I had to be somewhere. People came and went, I could not understand why my order was taking so long! The lady at the till kept saying that its coming. Honestly the poorest service Ive seen in my life. Services are fast and to the point. Waiting time is very short despite the number of people who queue to buy food. It is situated at the centre of Hatfield in Pretoria and next to the University of Pretoria and not far from where the Gautrain from Joburg ends of start its route to Gautrain Park Station in Johannesburg.

Worst McDonalds in Pretoria. Prefer Burger King or Nandos just across the road. This place does not cater towards the standards McDonalds is said to be given out in their policies. Do not go here.

Compared to many McDonalds it is not the best. The sitting area is the worst because everyone who passes by can see you and people keep coming to ask for R2s on the fence while you are eating.

This is a McDonalds which is really well run. Seems to always have my food ready when I get to the drive-thru window - sometimes they have it hanging out the window before I get there. I believe this is owned by an owner who has several others in the area which always have good service. You get to know the ones which are well run and know you can get in and out of there with good food and no mistakes. Good McDonalds!

Open 24/7. It is a students last-minute resort to get food. It us pretty packed almost everyday but its easy to get a cab/uber/bolt(taxify) at night and taxis during the day

The best McDonalds Ive ever been to 👏

Its a great McDonalds in terms of quality of food and all. But they only ever have one cashier...so you stand in line for like a lifetime and its the only McD thats so convenient, being open 24hrs so it gets pretty full hey. They also just sometimes dont have ice-cream. Like as McD customers we really love that damn McFlurry. Its way too disappointing. If just those two issues could be resolved, WOW 👏👏👏

The staff of McDonalds hatfield is very rude, disrespectful and inefficient. They dont pay attention to order details and theyre never willing to fix their mistakes. They have this condescending attitude towards students, especially, and act like they are doing us a favour by serving us. This is far from any McDonalds standard and needs to be attended to as soon as possible.
