They are so easy going, so friendly and helpful. The sweet lady help you put on the dress of your choice and make suggestions. She will definitely not let you go out with a dress that doesnt look good on you. Its their name you are wearing and will make sure you look good. They do alterations on dress 2-3 weeks before the wedding. Absolutely so impressed by this place. Ladies with curves, look no further.

I hired my plus size wedding dress from the bridal secret. At the beginning I would have given them a 5 star review and referred anyone to them! Unfortunately something must have happened as my dress and arrangements were not spot on. I went for my first fitting and discussed everything that I needed. My second fitting should have been with the seamstress, but she was not there and unfortunately my measurements of my sleeves were not taken correctly. I had my final fitting and collection the day before my wedding which was not very convenient as I still had to tie the final things together for our big day and time was not something I had. At my final fitting, my sleeves were too short and had to be lengthened there and then with other pieces of lace. I paid R2500.00 in advance for alterations and the only thing they had to alter were the sleeves as I lost weight and the dress fit already and no I have not received any refund on that. I told them that the sleeves were too tight and that they are going to tear...(They did, on the first dance my right sleeve tore at the seam). When I asked for my garter, they never made it so I had to make a plan a day before my wedding to get my garter. Luckily I asked about my veil as they did not add the front part of the veil and I had to wait even longer for them to sew on an extra piece of my veil. I had to show the video that my MOH took when we did the first fitting so they could see what was discussed. I loved the way my dress looked and was lucky enough to have hired it on their May month special. It was just such a stressful experience. If you should decide to hire your dress at the Bridal Secret, just double and triple check everything you requested so this does not happen to you. As I said, the experience at first was amazing, till my fittings and final collection.
