Not satisfied.Dress was not properly sewed and used pink thread on a green dress. Angelique who I assume is the owner refused alterations to our dresses. And was extremely rude on email because they couldn’t reach their deadline and we insisted on it. The other bridesmaid dress was made completely wrong and all measurements were incorrect despite the fact that we confirmed our measurements and she stipulated that they are wrong and she sent the correct measurements. Honestly disappointed to have paid so much for a dress and get such poor and rude service

I was a little bit disappointed at first when contacting this business. I called in and the lady I spoke to was not really that helpful. The initial email communication was not great either. However, when I voiced my unhappiness things did start to change.I did not end up purchasing bridesmaids dresses from them, although they are very beautiful. I did however, hire a beautiful dress for a photo shoot.The pickup was a bit annoying because I asked if it would be ok if I paid on the day and they said yes however, they neglected to tell me they use EFT or cash only. So I ended up having to do an EFT instore, I was not given the banking details prior to pick up. Thank goodness for online banking.The dress is gorgeous, I must say.The day after the shoot, I dropped off the dress and three days later my rental deposit was paid back to me with no hassles. Awesome. The business did communicate with me when the deposit refund was processed they were struggling to send a proof of payment, I am to let them know should there be a problem with the payment. I appreciated this communication a lot.Overall the quality of the dresses are good, and there is a lot of options to choose from. Service was a bit lacking but hey, they turned it around quite nicely.

I have been utterly disappointed with this company. Their service and the product is not worth the money you pay for it. The first time I ordered a dress they told me that the dress cannot be made as I requested for my size and measurements. The second time around I then requested a dress knowing this and adjusted to what they could offer but requested a slit be put in on the side.When I didnt recieve my dress on the date I had requested for I then had to call them again. When I did I recieved an unfriendly staff member telling me it is because I didnt pay the second half of the dress. I then informed her that I didnt receive an email telling me the dress is completed.  When I received the dress a day later it didnt include 2 of the things I requested. The day after I received the dress they sent an email saying I dont have the boobtube I requested for my function but they will send it on with no apology. My slit which I had requested on many occasions and asked about more than once was not on the dress. The dress cut itself was not neat either with a jagged cut to it which was not part of the design. When confronted about these things the owner said she thinks it is best I just be refunded because Im not happy with any of their work.I am utterly disgusted with the service and the quality of the product. Not worth the thousands they charge at all.

Gelique Couture offers you the freedom to literally design your own dress. Simour at Gelique was fantastic!! She worked with me until I was 100% happy with the colour and lace of the dress. Even then she sent me more options, just to double check that I am in fact 100% satisfied with my choice. When I collected the dress it was even more beautiful then I could have imagined. The after sale customer service is really great too!! I received a follow up email on my purchase to ensure that I am satisfied and with instructions on how to bring the dress for any further minor adjustments if required. However, my bridesmaid looked beautiful in her dress and it was a perfect fit just by sending measurements. Thank you for the beautiful and very affordable dress!!

When we decided to get married I didnt have to think about where to find my bridesmaids dresses.I have had prior experience with Gelique from being a bridesmaid to friends and family -and every single time we looked absolutely stunning, we never had to worry about sizing as the dresses always fitted perfectly (even though some of the bridal party were from NZ) and I can honestly say that using Gelique for MY bridesmaids dresses as a bride was one of the best decisions I made.

My husband and I got married on the 10th of October in an intimate garden ceremony. I bought a wedding dress from Gelique at R1600. I was a bit sceptical as they didnt have a dress in store for me to see. The service was fantastic. The dress was ready in a week or so. Picking it up was also a seamless experience.Everybody absolutely LOVED this dress. I also could not believe how beautiful it was. It had a train that was actually quite long. I looked magical. I cannot thank the team enough!

I loved my gelique dress, the quality and fabric were amazing and the dress styles are extremely complimentary. A huge variety of colours to choose from I. also found the sizing guide to be very accurate and my dress fitted me perfectly. Great service and prices are very good for the quality dress you get.

The staff were very friendly and attentive on the day of our consultation. The boutique itself was very neat and beautifully decorated. I know their dresses may be a bit more expensive than a normal infinity wrap dress for instance, but from personal experience I would definitely recommend getting their dresses instead. It worked out really well for my wedding as I had chosen one colour that worked with the wedding colours, but each bridesmaid could pick their own style that they felt comfortable and beautiful in. I would highly reccommend Gelique Pretoria Branch.

Too bad this review doesnt allow me to give a zero star rating. My sister made an appointment for us to go and have our measurements done, the people at the Pretoria branch did not have our appointment scheduled. The dresses were too big and too long after we told them we will be wearing flat shoes. The dresses were badly made and put together. The material was not the same as we asked for. The only dress that fitted was the one we took the measurements for. For the price we paid for the dresses were unbelievably expensive for the way the dresses came out. We had to do alterations at another place because there was no time for them to do it and quite frankly we didnt want another screw up with the dresses. The staff were rude and impatient. All they care about is making money and not to deliver a good service to the people. This is the most important day for a bride and she wants everything to be perfect. I will not recommend this place to anyone again.

Great service and a wide variety of pick and mix dresses - ideal for bridesmaids. You can choose from a huge range of colours (and a couple of floral prints) and you can even add details like tulle, lace or sequins to some designs.Remember to schedule an appointment as they do not allow walk-ins.

I used Gelique for my bridesmaids dresses, easy process (choosing material, style, fitting etc) they are efficient. I needed my dresses within a very short time frame (over December) and they delivered on time. There was a mess up with my maid of honours dress (they mixed 2 materials together instead of using only the one) but they corrected this in under a day :) i was impressed with the material as well, super soft and comfortable. Friendly staff help on site and over email/phone. Highly recommend them!

My bridesmaids and I were over-all happy with the service we received at Gelique. Visiting the branch and trying on dresses was such a highlight of my wedding planning experience! The only issue we had was when my bridesmaids went to collect their dresses, and my maid of honours dress was completely the wrong measurement. There was a bit of a mess sorting that out, as we collected from the Randburg branch but everything had to go back to Pretoria for alterations. She finally received her dress a week before the wedding.

Good service and experience at the appointment stage of the process but unfortunately very let down after receiving the bridesmaid dresses which were both far too big and clearly had something go wrong with the measurements. After having new measurements taken the one dress still had visible problems that the staff tried to blame on the cut and design of the dress, leaving me to have to take the dress elseware to be fixed correctly. Focus needs to be put on customer service after ordering a dress.

Geliques dresses are very well made. They use quality fabric that is thick and comfortable - my bridesmaids absolutely loved their dresses!
