I was very happy with the helpfull, friendly and professional service I received from Spec Savers. Although I only needed a screw replaced on a pair of glasses I was given fast and efficient service. Thank-you and well done!

I have only received professional, efficient and friendly service from this branch. The optometrists are very knowledgeable and thorough. The frontline staff always goes the extra mile to ensure orders are fulfilled and correct

The store has moved to the new Castle Gate shopping centre in Erasmuspark and is situated next to the entrqnce to Checkers.

I visited this practice 4 times. The optometrist herself was fine. However, the women working the general floor are poor at best. Absolutely terrible service from the moment of receiving patients to administrative duties and general sense of urgency. They rarely create a welcoming environment - it only takes a smile - and three times in a row were able to create such an invoicing disaster that the medical aid would only recognize a portion. I’m new to the business and the fact that the woman behind the counter on two separate occasions stated, “this will be difficult to claim because we made a mistake on the invoice” made things difficult. I would not recommend the services at this location, although I do appreciate the services at other specsaver centers.

Most extensive eye test I have had with a thorough explanation of every detail regarding the results of my eye test, the extra service of precisely taking a mark of where my pupils would sit on my new frames was great! And the staff are very friendly and very helpful! Really recommend service like this!

We went for our glasses in October. After 2 months, my husband finally got his glasses. After the lenses were wrong it had to be re-inserted, after a long time he gets his glasses but could not see through the lenses at all. They then had to resubmit it. I am very disappointed in Specsavers Waterkloof, one is not even compensated for the long wait, all that has been said is we are sorry. Well just go back to Centurions specsavers there they compensate the customers, for THEIR mistake!Thank you so much Spec Savers for coming back to us so quickly. Your prompt service gave one hope. But still you have disappointed us and the whole story after 2 months is now canceled. The whole experience was an inconvenience and a big disappointment, spec savers we will definitely not see again. Just hope our medical fund does not have a problem. My husband got an appointment again, this time for what he needed most, prescribed sunglasses and not reading glasses like the previous ophthalmologists fault. Previously we mentioned that his eyes are only light sensitive and only need sunglasses, but the lady we tested never went back to his previous tests. After going back to previous tests, they realized that he does not need reading glasses, his eyes have improved and only the sunglasses will be right. (After such a mistake, I wonder if my children really need reading glasses). After they made such a big mistake and we have already made R500 co-payment on the reading glasses, we now have to make another R1400 co-payment on the sunglasses. Its a shame our path with spec savers came to an end.
