The good: I think they have the beginnings of a good idea, young dare I say edgy concept. The food presented on black slate is a nice touch although you can see the servers struggle with the weight of it. The menu selection is good with something for everyone and in my opinion the prices arent that bad either. Portions are good too as we got a mountain of thin cut fries with the towering burger.The bad: Although the food looked great on the menu and on the plate I was a bit disappointed with the taste. My burger patty was a bit bland with no seasoning at all. I also expected that with all the toppings it will be juicy and flavorful but it wasnt. I have to say I enjoyed my meal just expected a lot more taste and flavor.The ugly: For those who do not know they took over a previous restaurant space and it does seem as if the only did some minor changes and some not very well. The first table we were taken to was filthy with tamato sauce all over the floor and pieces of food still lying there, I specifically checked if it was cleaned by the time we left but it was not. There were sections of the ceiling missing, you could see where they cut off sections of wall where there used to be a glass private dining area and we were sat next to a broken table and half potted palms.In summary: Nice location and a good but incomplete decor idea, good menu but some real work is to be done on the taste of the food. Its a pretty cool place.I went for breakfast and had a delicious meal. The most important thing is that their coffee is delicious and arrives in massive cups. They have a selection of breakfasts to choose from as well as a Build your own breakfast section where you can choose whatever you want to eat. It has comfortable seating - both inside and outside and the prices are quite good. Would definitely visit again. Im interested in what they have to offer at other times of the day.

Friendly service, although we moved to another table as the floor was dirty at our selected table area. It still feels very uninviting, but the staff was professional and friendly. The food was mediocre, and not much to rave about. Wide selection of food, and various self build options.

Beautiful setting. Funky menu but did not have chance to try the food. Did try a new gin and liked the eco friendly glass straw! Beautiful vertical gardens. Friendly staff.

Amazing venue. Had an engagement party and it was a lot of fun. Its classy but not stiff and its got a modern feel to it. The food is delicious and the service is spot on.

One of my favourite new restaurants.The milkshakes (Shout out: Thank you, Hendrik) and the loaded fries are a-m-a-z-i-n-g, so is the atmosphere, interior, location, staff and service.Its basically an all-rounder.A definite must if you are in Pretoria and even worth driving to Pretoria for - I did and would.

A restaurant worth your time and money. Friendly staff, great food and a wide variety of drinks. The decor is exquisite and the location ideal. Take a look at the events and markets hosted here. The only downside might be to find parking on a busy night.

Food was good. Service not so much. Waited rather a long time(40 min) for food. Brought someone elses bill. Waited another (40min) for dessert. Great ambience, setting.

Very cool place, awesome decor and interior design. Food is great: ordered a vegan burger, made with their own in-house patty - tasted very good! Nice place to sit and work at too. You get fair speed free WiFi and the view out into the street is nice. They have almond milk, too.The service was very friendly and very awesome.

What a great find, the waiter grabbed us while we were walking past and I was so glad he did.We had Eggs Benedict on something like a hash brown which really went down well. Very filling also. I could not finish mine.We ended with some craft gin which was beautifull and delicious.Our waiter was Xavier and he did an excellent job, thanks!

After walking past No.89 numerous times, decided to give it a try tonight. We were welcomed at the door by Lorraine and she showed us to a table upstairs (warmer than downstairs!). Started with some red cappuccinos to heat us up in the cold weather then ordered the Pablo Escobar burgers. At first I thought the whole salsa-nachos-avo topping would be good, but it wasn’t really my thing. Couldn’t taste the jalapeños either. The patty was ok. Served with ultra thin french fries which was good.
