Mug & Bean is a franchise store that managed to keep true to their roots offering more value for your money food. Their signature thing is very generous portions. Like a cookie the size of your face. The truely remarkable fact that they still offer top quality food every time makes them at the top of my list for a lunch or lay back coffee.With a great selection of home brew coffee roasts. Just tried the Big Ben & it was nothing short of spectacular! Keep up the great work.

Went for brunch with 2 friends and sat inside. The vibe was calm and cosy. The waitress was friendly and we got our drinks and good fairly quickly. Muffins never disappoint and the sandwiches were crisp. Good old Mugg and Bean is great for a chat over coffee and brunch or a family meal. Their menu has many drinks and food options with something to suit everyone.

Conveniently located on Atterbury road at the Attebury Value Market. Ample FREE parking. Mugg and Beans menu is always tasty especially for breakfast. Coffees are good and the service at this particular Mugg and Bean was pleasant

We went for a quick brunch in between shopping. Was very busy. Not great on Covid adherence. When we eventually got our meal I asked for some tomato sauce for our chips. After I almost finished my meal, the tomato sauce arrived, and before I could even reach for the bottle to put some on my chips another waiter arrived and just took the tomato sauce. I just found it strange that a place like Mugg&Bean could not be prepared enough to have a sufficient supply of something a simple as tomato sauce. M&B generally have reasonable quality and fairly priced food. It will definitely not be on my regular outings list...

Took over 50 minutes to serve food after ordering and when the food eventually arrived it was cold and some of it wasnt prepared or cooked properly

Useless waiters. No social distancing for waitersThey are 6 standing one on the other in the front door. Theyve got not people skills and the manager is never available. I have asked for the name of the owner and they laughed at me. Never will I go there again and I will certainly advice customers to spend their money at another worthy restaurant

Staff refused to take our temperature on our wrists as we were not comfortable with having it taken on our faces. Refused us entry, and they were happy to tell us to leave. We went to Ocean Basket 30meters down the isle. No problems there.

The food was ok but service was poor. Unfriendly waitress and she didnt even thank me for the 10% tip which I dont think she even deserved. I wont be supporting Atterbury branch. I will be going to the Woodlands branch where the food, atmosphere and staff attitude is great.

Management need correct training on taking temp of customers, it is done on the pulse NOT the forehead. For more info, inquire from a neurosurgeon to find out the danger this holds in.When a customer asks for the contact of franchise owner, i would expect a response not no response.This branch will not see me again

During the time I was at this place, I sanitized and took my temperature. 2 minutes later after I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, I was pretty much attacked by another waiter and the manager for walking in and not taking my temperature and sanitizing although I have. A persons temperature wont change in a span of 2 minutes if u already taken it and it was precisely the same. They were extremely rude.Our waiteress was perfectly fine and nice, food was fine as well.Wouldnt recommend the place again though.

Today myself and a friend went for a long awaited Catch up at Mugg and Bean Atterbury. While the food was tasty the service was lacking. We had to asked 3 times for a Coke light before it being brought to the table after waiting for a half and hour for it. When we mentioned this to the Manager all het could do was shake his head and look around stating it is busy busy, twice, without having the courtesy to apologize, just an irritated look and another busy,busy. While we understand that it was busy a mere apology would have sufficed. We after all are paying guests at his establishment. Makes one reconsider to fraternize his establishment again😡

Shocking.We had someone join us who asked to have her temp taken on her arm. They refused, the manager caused a scene blaming the customer instead of accomodating her. The whole hour after the waiters made a point not to serve us when they saw us signalling for help. No social distancing as well. Stay away

I was at the atterbury branch today for lunch. I received raw chicken when ordering one of the items on the menu. When reporting the raw chicken, the waitress was not very helpful and did not offer to fix the problem immediately. The manager eventually came to speak to me but was also not very helpful. I did not read the reviews about this mugg and bean before going but after reading the reviews I can see that not much has changed overtime.

The waitress took a really long time to come back and take our order.Waitress did not point out that we could get the menu online by scanning the barcode, instead we handled the menu card.I the wrong drinks order.The rest was fine.

Sub par food, asked for a medium rare steak, received shoe leather instead. Service was extremely delayed to put it generously. The time between asking for and receiving our bill, two tables had received their order, eaten it, paid for it, and gotten takeaways.

My experience at this M&B was not what I am used to from the franchise I love and frequent. I raised a concern with Head Office out of public interest as well as a warning to potential damage to the brand. As a proud, professional company they took immediate action and ensured me that issues I experienced were addressed. Training is imperative and I hope my next visit will be a more pleasant one where I can have a proper customer experience. Hats of to M&B.

Waited 50 minutes for food, asked for the manger - never arrived. In the 50 min we waited for food the waiter never asked if we want more drinks.

Terrible service from the owner himself. After having breakfast and coffee the owner came up to our table and requested us to leave as we are taking up space for other customers queuing outside. No appreciation for our support. When I informed him that word of mouth could be bad for their reputation he said it is not a problem for them as I should look at the queues outside.Very arrogant and rude, I will never support them again.

What you would expect from a Mugg and Bean. Good food and good drinks. Nice for a quick sit down and a cup of coffee. Took a bit long to make my peanut butter smoothie since they ran out of peanut butter but they quickly bought some and it was delicious.

Went here for a business meeting, and didnt stick around to eat anything. The coffee, however, was great, and the lady that served us was very polite. For business purposes, it was a good spot. A little hard to find, hidden away in the centre, and we had to ask for directions a few times from other shop attendants to point is in the right direction. Once we were there, though, things seemed to go very well. It wasnt too loud, nor were there too many people milling about. I actually wouldnt mind going back to try the food.

Ive enjoyed Mug and Bean Blueberry muffins since I was a teenager. Today something tasted a bit off and I sent it back. The manager then said there is no way that anything is wrong with it and put the plate back on the table. This was incredibly unprofessional and spoiled our outing. If this is how they treat customers I do not recommend this place.

Service is friendly but not always up to scratch.The owner is not very hands on and therefore small issues make for a not so pleasant experience.Managers probably have their hands full but then let the coffee and milk run dry.Like in many other restaurants, the waiter is quick with the initial visit but then disappears and when the bill is needed, is no where to be found.The shop is clean and well laid out. Outside seating is nice but no coffee on tap makes drinking bottomless a bad experience.Well situated and convenient operating hours.

This is the first time I’ve experienced such horrible service at a Mugg & Bean. After ordering scones that were not up to par, the owner Louis came to tell us to pay for the uneaten scone. Very dismissive attitude, no listening or entertaining options for paying customers, he informed us that he will “not pay for our scone” and that’s just how it is.We will not be coming back here again.
