I have bought a device iPhone 8 plus and paid for it R6500 July 2021. I have not received it but their policy says they deliver within 7 to 14 days. They have mislead me and defraud my money when I ask for refund no one replies to my email. The company doesnt meet the customer satisfaction. I just want my money back no longer interested in device.

I dont think Ill ever buy a phone from them. I still havent received the phone after a month and a half. They dont answer the phone when you call them. Its extremely unjust because theyre gambling with our hard-earned cash.

Purchased a mobile device and charger, got apologies for six weeks over the phone and email then suddenly their website goes down, phones are cut and when you go to their offices they are locked with no one there. I was nervous to buy from Powerbite, because their phone prices seemed too good to be true. But I had a fantastic experience with them; they even surprised me with an offer to upgrade my phone order (for just R500 extra) to a brand new flagship phone I really wanted but would never have been able to afford. The availability of products and the service given are excellent. Even though I was given a 7-10 day lead time for the order to be fulfilled it shipped immediately. Email support and response time was also fantastic - I had one small query about my order and received an immediate reply to my email.

Powerbite sold me a faulty laptop with a 1y warranty, and refused to fix it. I bought my macbook pro online from them for R 25 000 in september 2020, for work. I received it with a faulty battery, blown speakers, and a charger that looks like this (picture attached). I let them know about the problem immediately, but also that I had to continue working on the machine. They said its no problem, its got a year warranty so I can send it in any time in the following year. So I eventually sent the machine in in January. They had it for two weeks and claimed to have fixed it. I got it back, but with a HUGE dent on the cover. The speakers had been fixed, and I thought the battery was fixed, but the battery failed completely within a week and I was no longer able to work on the device at all. I emailed them about what happened. The CEO replied and said that the employee who dealt with me had been fired because she lied to me when she said the device was fixed, and what apparently really happened is that they received the device damaged (referring to the dent, that was not there before they collected it), and this voids the warranty, so they just sent it back to me and never fixed it. Their stories contradict each other and dont add up. This machine was my livelihood as a freelance graphic designer. Ive lost so much business and money because of this. Thanks Powerbite.

I would not recommend buying from Powerbite. My experience has been terrible and has proven that you get what you pay for.Firstly, I ordered two Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G phones. This is what their website says and this is the model number (MPN) that appears on their website. I did not get two 5G phones. Instead, I got the LTE versions and was spun a story about how the 5G version of these phones isnt available in SA. Then why were they on the website when I ordered and why does the 5G product description still appear there 4 weeks after purchase?Powerbites support staff tell you two different stories, depending on who you speak to. When I ordered the phones, I phoned to make sure they would have 5G. The lady said they all do. Now they say none of them do. The one lady says the sent the wrong phones, the other lady says the specs on the website are for illustration purposes only. Im sorry, but in what world are specifications for illustration purposes? Specs are specs, and that is what I intended to purchase.Secondly, I ordered two different colours but was asked, when they were ready for delivery if I would accept two black ones. Which I did, having waited 11 working days for the devices.Thirdly, though the black phones were cheaper (for some reason) they first tried to make me pay the same for two black phones. I had to convince them that this was unethical.I am now sitting with two LTE phones, having paid for their 5G equivalents. To make up for the discrepancy between the website and what was sent they sent me the cheapest cover they could find from China. At the very least I believe I should be refunded the difference in price between the two models or otherwise be allowed to return the devices I did not intend to own. This is a three-year commitment and I wanted devices that were a bit ahead of their time so that they would last.Following my review 6 days ago, I was threatened with legal action. That is no way to treat someone who spent hard-earned money at your business.Perhaps, you should read and re-commit to your promise to make customers feel valued: We promise you every time you shop from us you become our most important client and we will go to lengths to make sure you are satisfied even after your purchase. I certainly dont feel like this has happened and wont do business with Powerbite again.

Powerbite provides absolutely incredible service!I bought a MS Surface Pro from them which was at a much cheaper price vs SA competitors. However, through no fault of their own, the device had a few issues from the factory. Powerbite picked up the device, did the diagnostic and provided a replacement in record time. Throughout this process, Kate kept me in the loop and provided constant updates.Overall, I am pleasantly surprised by their customer service and the price of the products on offer. Keep it up! I am really not happy with the service I received. I ordered a CPO device, First the device delivered was wrong. The condition did not match the description of the purchased device, ( it had a dent and had a wrong colour), although the description on the site said it was in good condition with no dents. Communication with them lead to nothing and I decided to keep the device as it was a gift. Days later after using the device we realised the charger was a generic replacement charger and had broken. I was not going to review, but this charger incident in particular really broke me. I spent a lot of money for me to spend more.I regret, I should have spent an extra R2000 for a brand new device(with no dent, right colour, and original charger), I now need to spend money on a new charger.

Great deals and efficient service: I found a good deal on a Samsung S9 on December 30th and called in to see if it could be delivered the next day, since the next working day after the 31st would be Jan 04th. The receptionist said they would organise for same day delivery and this would be included in the price. The phone arrived in perfect condition as promised the next day. Bunch of jokers, worst experience ever selling a device to these people. Very unprofessional staff who make offers to buy that later don’t get honored when you arrive at the store to sell the actual device. All of a sudden they say how the price changed when they never mentioned this when they made an online offer. Their offer is open-ended meaning they never stated an expiration of the offer or quote to you. They are just like the typical scammers you find online so be aware!!!

I was promised a partial compensation, which I have also not received.I have also had very little useful communication to why delivery is delayed. It seems the moto is that the customer needs to phone to followup, rather than a proactive approach. Very frustrating.I would definitely not recumbent ordering from PowerBite.Update: My order has since been delivered and I have been compensated. The whole process took approx. six weeks.

My order was delivered much sooner than expected, especially given the Covid-19 circumstances. A nice surprise was switching on the laptop and finding how-to and product info videos all ready and waiting. All round very considerate and thorough service; however, I think product condition and whats-in-the-box write-ups could be more detailed. That said, my MacBook is in perfect working order and the condition was relatively accurately described.

I’ll just put it clearly.•Customer service is great. They keep you noted about everything.•The product got to me super fast, it was great.•The Courier service they use is shocking. They treat you like you’re just another problem in their day. The attitude is disgusting, to say the least.•The product itself had some problems, but the shocking part was that the device wasn’t cleaned, cleared (had personal data of previous owner) and the charger’s power plug was broken. Also the device came wrapped in some bubble wrap, loosely falling around in a box. There were also hardware problems (wouldn’t be surprised if the device picked up the problems during shipping) so I asked for a new one.•Getting them to send a replacement was easy, but again this Courier. Wow.All in all, not a business I would suggest from a business point of view. However, it would have been perfect had the device been in proper shape once it arrived the first time. Getting a device for your kid to watch movies on? Perfect. But not business friendly at all.Will update once I get the new product.• update •New product is good so far. This is a legit business, my CPO device was delivered within four days in great condition and they also kept me informed during the time that i was waiting. I would have given them 5 stars but the phone was delivered with an incorrect usb cable but the issue was attended to quickly.

The phone I purchased had a reasonable price. But unfortunately the support team didnt handle my order well. I had changed my handset colour during the order, which was confirmed to have been changed several time. On delivery, it was the wrong colour. Also the ports (earphone jack and charger port) were not clean resulting in the peripherals not functioning properly. Be it that it was a CPO phone, the least would have been to clean the phone properly. Also there is just mass confusion between powerbites tracking system and their courier. Always annoucing different locations for your product.

Left numerous messages on their site regarding stock availability and sales queries and havent received a single response. When I phoned to check stock the lady said they have stock but that she had to phone me back with a price. Almost a week later and I still havent received a call back. I found another supplier and managed to get a MacBook Pro within 2 days. Powerbite might be a little bit cheaper than their competition but Id rather switch and pay a bit more for the customer service.

But it started to give me problems with it camera within a week of using it and I tried to contact The Cell Store but they never answered my emails. I am very disappointed on their communications. Now im stuck with a phone camera that can not focus.
