I recently experienced terrible service from 2 staff members, Tebogo and Justin, with no follow through on promises and unapologetic attitudes when confronted.Tebogo didnt consistently follow up on a product I ordered from another branch, which got sold, and then she said Id need to pay a R300 courier fee to get it from a distant store.Before I knew the shoes were sold, I went in the next day as Tebogo didnt bother calling me with an update. I approached Justin to please follow up with the other branch and if he could call me with an update because I had to run. He asked me to stay because he didnt want to take the sale from Tebogo - so I had to stand there for 15min while he was calling around, when he could have done that himself and phoned me with the update.The manager Japie seems to be disengaged because he didnt try to resolve anything with me despite seeing I was upset with their service. Through it all not one apology was given, only excuses.From past experience, it seems the staff standards have dropped a lot when dealing with problems.

Reasonable rangeCompared to other Cape Union Mart stores in Pretoria, this one feels larger and welcomes a more pleasant shopping experience because of this.Cape Union Mart is limited in what they stock for true outdoor enthusiasts. They are not the same style store as found in American or European outdoor shops, with gear catering for some pretty adventurous activity.Cape Union caters more for South African conditions and lifestyles, with a lot of camping equipment for the somewhat less extreme environments. The quality is usually top notch though and they are homegrown so supporting them feels worthwhile.

They charge a delivery fee when handing in a Leatherman. This wasnt always the case.
