Popped in for breakfast. Diverse menu. Its very busy but the food was great and the staff was friendly. Will def go back

This restaurant is our happy place. Their food is absolutely amazing and affordable! At 23 on Hazelwood anyone on a budget can actually afford to eat great quality food made from the best and freshest ingredients. Their staff is also professional, friendly and clearly trained by the best. This restaurant gives you all the good feelings dining out is supposed to give you and is worth your support.

The food is amazing. Never been disappointed. One of my favourite restaurants in PTA. Highly recommended. Place can get packed quite quickly especially on weekends. Best to arrive early if you want to find a good table

I went alone. Asking the waiter to give me some place close to the cloak room he direct me to a table next to a window. Hazelwood make lovely Cappucinos so I had one at the beginning and end of my visit with another one. I was very impressed with my waiter: caring but not a nuisance. My toast was OK. Yes it was a nice experience to eat at 23 On Hazelwood.

Went there for a lazy breakfast on a public holiday. We were just in time to get one of the last tables outside on the patio before a queue started forming. Service was a little on the slow side but it was understandably due to the venue being very busy. The coffee was lovely and strong and all our breakfasts were top notch! Near to us was a table of baked goodies and I couldnt resist a take away chocolate croissant which was also delicious! The only downside is that find a parking spot is a bit of a challenge and our waiter smelled very strongly of tobacco smoke. That however did not manage to spoil a lovely experience. Will definitely be back soon!Edited to add - then we went back today and had the opposite experience of the previous time. Mediocre, lukewarm food and lacklustre service from 3 different servers. Its hard to believe that it was even the same restaurant. :-(

One of Pretorias hidden gems. Such a great place to unwind with the best food. Loved loved loved the time out with family. Their Eggs Benedict with the salmon option to die for. I fully recommend.

I always enjoy going to 23 On Hazelwood because the food is good. I took a friend today to introduce her to the restaurant. Before we ordered the food and drinks my friend asked for warm water with a piece of lemon. I ordered cold tap water. I discovered when checking my bill that we were actually charged R5 00 for the warm water with lemon. This was quite unnerving to me that a restaurant would charge for warm water with lemon. How do you quantify that And it is not about the amount but the principal of charging for warm tap water. This is a first for me . This is really unfortunate because I personally would be reluctant to go to your establishment again and dont think I will easily recommend it

Absolutely divine. Love this place. My mom and I go here often for breakfast dates and today we decided to try lunch here!EAT A BURGER - you will not regret it. Chicken burger with a mustard-mayo sauce or the cheese burger. Yes pls :). All with such a friendly manager checking in on us! Thank you for always providing a quality experience.

Love the variation of the old familiar food favourites. My wife and I had a fantastic meal, and like usual, gin comes served with your choice of condiments. Just love the ambience when seated outside!! Sad that they close at 6PM on a Friday.

Had some great banting brownies here. The vibe here is way more casual then other restaurant in the area. Service is great. We also like the Gin menu. The cocktails we had was really good. Next time we will try the food.

This place is great to go and have a few drinks and enjoy a night out. They have a quiz night which gets quite fun if you can grab a couple of friends and go test out your knowledge.The only reason I wouldnt give it 5 stars is because the burger I had was quite average. However maybe it was an off night for the kitchen. Overall the place gets a thumbs up and they have a wide variety of Gin which Im sure everyone will enjoy

This place has great coffee (TriBeca Beans), absolute enjoy their almond milk flat white. Service, atmosphere and especially the food are phenomenal! They have outstanding burgers, and their signature “Meat @23” steak is delicious! Absolutely love going their. Highly recommended.

This has to be in the top 10 places to visit in Pretoria. Everything was excellent (the food, decor, service and did I mention the food?). Biggest shout out to Anthony who guided me through the menu. I rarely finish food but I did, meaning the food was excellent and affordable. Take my word for it, go to this place you will not regret 💯 ♥️. Im definitely coming back

I have been here once before and loved it. Unfortunately, I had forgotten the restaurants name so drove around the area for about 30min before resorting to google. Actually, I just came for a coffee and was tempted by one of the small plates. Don’t forget to check the pastries out :-)

Made a reservation for a birthday and just said we cannot take anyone on that day so we drove their and their were seats available we never ate their that is just unprofessional.
