Amazing what a wonderful experience!! Shop has recently been revamped. This place has everything and more. All needed was to be found here. Never had such friendly and helpful service at any shop before. They have outdoor nursery and even a coffee shop. This is worth the visit.

Stones and floral. A bit on the pricy side but still good quality stones and plants to work with.

The service l received when l wanted to return what l bought was very heartbreaking. I was being cut off and I was not even given time to fully explain why l was returning this item. After that, l was told it will take me 3 to 4 weeks to get the refund. I then decided to go to Builders Warehouse Castle gate their service there was utterly amazing. I got my refund on the same day and l was able to make another purchase leaving the store wIth Joy in heart.

Wanted to buy gas top stove and extractor fan and need help with size and specs. No person in site. One came crawling and asked are we looking for help. We said ys and she proceeded to call someone. This person was not in the least interested in helping us. Kept himself busy with chairs being extremly rude. We left and told the lady at enquiries we will rather take our business somewhere else. She was also not in the least worried and waved us goodbuy. This was on a Sunday morning early, shop was not busy. This cleary indicates to me the customer is a nuisance to the floor staff and that they make enough money not to be concerned about the ones leaving. They will NEVER see me again. Went across the road to Stax and was served with pride and then got cooker hood and gas stove and also some other stuff.

The shelves are organized, but it seems like the staff isnt. Going from pillar to post and then some just to end up using Google to resolve an issue you have described to several people.If you want to go there, plan ahead and make sure you know exactly what youre after or looking for. Unless youre there for glass related products and assistance, those guys have proper knowledge on their products and how to assist customers.

Probably one of the nicest Builders Ive been to. Staff actually checked that I was okay. The lady at the key cutting was on the ball and very friendly. Definitely worth checking out.

Very helpful staff. Convenient parking- 1 hour free. Contractors entrance. Otherwise a typical Builders Warehouse well stocked and spacious.

Very well stock. My issue is too few shop assistants. But when she eventually came through she was friendly and very helpful.

Big store, they do not stock white sement, and had to ask, before getting any support, or assistance, otherwise clean , also missed the parking ticket pay machine at Builders, had to go back to the shopping centre (Woodlands) to pay for my parking as I exceeded one hour

Way more options then most, but was able to find the paint I was looking for at least

Just got to love the standardised layout of most of the Builders Warehouses and you can be 95% sure of finding what you want - a builders card consolidates your purchases electronically which are emailed to you saving you from retaining multiple printed slips. Thanks Builders you make my building project easier with purchases under 1 roof

The staff are great. Found the perfect carpet for my study! This is the place for affordable carpets. And of course all other kind of stuff like load shedding bulbs.

We bought a corner shower unit from them online when we removed it from the packaging the one glass panel broke in husbands hands. Fortunately he didnt get cut, when we tried getting a replacement one this branch doesnt answer their phones through the call centre, someone from builders head office I suppect came in to take our case after a week of struggling then it another week to get the replacement part after they stepped in and three days after delivery we started installing the unit we find out they gave us the wrong panel even after we told them what happened. Now we have sit with a half finished shower for probably another week or two till they decided to help us again. This is so pathetic and its not the first time we have with this branch I sent a complaint before and they said the branch Manger wil contact me back 6 months later the branch Manger still hasnt called me back.

If you ever need to get matching paint, take a sample of paint to Steven at the paint counter. I took a sample smaller than a 10cent coin, even when Steven said it would be nearly impossible to match due to the sample being so small, he did it perfectly.

The service was great but couldnt find what I needed.

Mr Maja was very helpful with advising me how to nature my plant and which product to buy and use since it was not growing well

Staff members not too friendly and seem distant. Those who are dotted around shop are always in groups and engaging in their own conversations. Shop assistant could not give me good advice on what abrasive I could use as a substitute for diamond paste. If any.

I was looking for a wall mounted fan. The box of the only one left on the shelf was open. The lady at the help desk was most helpful. She checked the stock. Then we walked back to the fan isle where she put it down and asked me to wait there. I thought she was looking for an attendant. However, she soon returned carrying a new one under her right arm. Why, I noticed her left arm was in a sling. Great commitment!

These people are incredibly bad at online shopping, I ordered from their site twice and each time was disaster, no communication, orders that should only take a day takes a week. Builders is cool if you go there in person, but they are stuck in the 80s with their online shopping experience.

I find the place expensive. Staff are not friendly except at tills. Many articles on the shelves are not priced and shelve stock is not properly mantained.

Pathetic store . Wish there was a ZERO star rating. They are revamping .. should rather consider closing down

Some staff in this branch are really knowledgeable and helpful whereas a few are hiding behind the shelves when you approach them for help. It will be magic if there is a way that will allow customers to rate staff on the floor in a constructive way that is not cumbersome to the customer and mindful of the times we live in. A nice challenge for your customer service division :)

Just randomly sampled 2 products purchased 5 days apart. Builders were 30% MORE expensive for exactly the same products than Chamberlains. See pics.

There is a sanitizing station but they no longer take your temperature as you enter. We found everything on our list. Staff was very helpful. The store was busy but the aisles are wide so it doesnt seem that busy. One of the better Builders.

Worst builders Ive been to. Cant find anyone to assist you. When you do it feels like they are doing you a favor. I have been there before and then said never again but had to go because they are the only ones that had the item I was looking for. Hopefully its the last time.

Piss poor service. Store is filthy and absolutely no staff willing to assist in any way.

Products showed as 2 in stock, called ahead to make sure as well that they had the item as I was driving from far. All was good. Arrived there, no stock.... Worse is that they just blamed HO for their system which is nonsense in my opinion. They were not helpful at all, the service was horrendous and staff are rude. And the cherry in the cake is that I had to ask almost all the staff to please put their masks on properly as I am pregnant. Rather visit another Store if you can. I wont be back ever and will not recommend this store to anyone.

I am probably their biggest customer. At least after grocery stores, they are my biggest budget gobbler. Love going to Builders. They always have something for me to overstock or impulse buy. Nice new gadgets. But boy do I feel ripped of everytime when I review the till slip. This store is no different. At least this store pays your Woodlands shopping centre parking ticket at the shop exit.

The best place to be. The guys are always willing and ready to serve customers. The lady at the electrical department is best when you need help with electrical stuff. Im going to buy there again tomorrow.

Very poor communication. Dont understand what you are saying. This is the people all attending on hoods in front of the shop. You ask for the pot cement stands. Then the scratch in the dust bin explaining you left something in the basket 😱😱😱. Eventually I was told to finf what I wax looking for in the garden nursery. Realy you should train your people. To assist.

My personal rating for builders warehouse has to be minus two stars! Always when visiting a builders and ask for a product they always give the same answer WE DONT SELL THAT! its like management trained the staff to say that just to keep the client satisfied. But knowing they sell it you just have to look for it on your own. Trust me its a hardware store they do sell it. I was looking for a (in line fuse holder) and when asked were to find it the answer was givenWE DONT SELL THAT!So my hunting started and what do you know I found it at the vehicle accessories. Now off to pay for it.Only to find one cashier for a big store like builders warehouse. Like really. Im sorry but all of the staff from management down they are the worst when it comes to client service.By the looks of it they are far over staffed but dont know what their responsibility are not even management. They all just standing around waiting for the day to end. All I can suggest is that head office should step in or is that where the problem is? Look at other hardware stores all of the staff yes even management help the customers.
