They have NICE cottons and quirky (very scarce) prints, but it comes with a pricey tag as well..(Quilting fabrics are expensive I know) Endless amounts of lace and ribbons etc well worth a pay day trip. The staff is very helpful as well.

My favourite fabric store in the world. I bought everything there. The staff get to know you by name. Unfortunately my job took me overseas and I havent been able to find another store to even get close to Habby Hyper. If only I could order online and have it delivered internationally!

Here you will find all sorts of material for clothing, upholstery, curtains and even shade netting. You will also find ready made curtains, rails, rods and accessories for curtains. Curtains and drapings can be made to your specific requirements and they can even renovate your antique wooden furniture and furnish them with new upholstery and cushions made to your requirements. The prices are very reasonble.We decided to have our 50 year old lounge suite renovated and re furnished.Mahommed and his team did a excellent job and gave the suite a new stylish look. Good place to be from upholstery to interior material they have.

You seen that person in the movies lying in a pile of money, happy as can be. This was me!!!From the outside it looks like a small shop, not very interesting. You walk in and see all these beautiful lace and beads and and and and. So I wonder around bit and I go a round the corner and my jaw drops to the floor. O MY WOORD!!!This place just goes on and on and on. So many different kinds of material. For each room in your house you will find material. For inside, outside you home. For upholstery. For carpets. For wedding. For babies. For bedding. For decorating. For whatever, you name it, it will be there.So if you love material shops as must as I do. You must go here. You must!

I arrived at the paypoint to pay for my merchandise with nobody in front of me. Walk up to the cashier -, he informs me he is still busy with someone. A lady comes with arms full of stuff putting it on the counter to pay, while I am being sent to the back of the queue with 3 other ladies now wanting to pay!People must finish their shopping before going to the till and the cashier shouldnt entertain things like this. I was at the till first and alone, but had to wait behind 4 others to pay.Unfortunately the men (not gentlemen!) should learn how to treat customers and ladies. They are rude and unprofessional!!

What a splendid shop! It has everything anyone could wish for. I was on a quest for some needle punching tools. I had phoned around Pretoria and habby hyper had said they had some needle punching tools.I had felt a little doubtful while I was driving there because I hadnt been able to find them anywhere in Pretoria.I was delighted to find that they did have them. The staff were not quite sure how to use the puncher, however they all very helpful in getting associated materials for my project.I was delighted to get the tools and materials. I give top marks to the helpful staff.

First time & definitely coming back. If thats how customers are treated everyday- the store is blessed with good staff. Not one grumpy assistant like other fabric stores I have been to. Every interaction was such a bliss from the time I entered the store till I left.Not to mention their hospitality (greeting, on standby whilst you are browsing , other staff members checking if you have anyone assisting you till the pay counters where I was even wished a lovely day further & someone to help carry my heavy load).
