I had the most incredible experience at Calegra Pretoria, especially with Chris-Mari. I saw a dress at a wedding expo and immediately made an appointment to try it on. After my appointment, I found another dress on Jeanelle lamour bridals Instagram. Chris-Mari arranged for the dress to be transported to Pretoria. Chrissy spoke to the designer, Jeanelle and she was willing to combined two of her dresses and made my perfect wedding dress! Chrissy was super kind, understanding and went out of her way to make me happy. My dress was absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted! Thank you so much!!

I did not have a very pleasant experience at this shop! I must warn future clients that a wedding dress at Calegra does not include a hem. This is charged additionally as “Alterations” starting at R1800 as a standard. My daughter’s dress came exactly as she ordered it and she was very happy. At the fitting they told us that they did not stitch on the lace flowers prior to the first fitting because they wanted to make sure that the dress fitted perfectly before stitching it on. This was afterwards charged as an “alteration”. Unfortunately I had to pay this prior to receiving the dress an did not want to upset my daughter with the payment issue. Will NEVER recommend them to anyone as they are not transparent with additional costs. They also require final payment before you see the final product. And then send their “Alteration” bill before handing over the dress!!Disappointing!!

What a wonderful bridal studio! From trying the dresses on to collecting my final choice before the big day, Chris-Marie and Corné were helpful, supportive, and so enthusiastic every step of the way. The collections are unique and gorgeous, the atmosphere calming and sophisticated.

Calegra PTA was a little disappointing with their dress selections. I was wooed by their Instagram account and the fact that they were stockist of Casey Jeanne gowns. For the quite high fee of R350 to try on their gowns, they only have 4 racks of dresses for you to choose from and the actual selection was lacklustre with only a handful of standout gowns. They also wanted to charge me a rush fee to alter my gown (if I did purchase) - but my wedding was months away😮However, the lady who helped me was exceptionally friendly and kind. Appointments only last 1.5hrs.Overall an average store unfortunately😕

Chris and Korne are Awesome. The selection of dresses is wonderful. Come here if you are looking for Casey Jeanne dresses and are inspired by Berta and Galia Lahav dresses. There are two fitting rooms and both are really spacious. The best one is the one in the corner as it has great natural lighting from the corner window. Bring a friend or two to lounge on the couch and have champagne or coffee/tea.

Worst wedding dress experience. Paid to be insulted. Bride got her dress at Bride n Co.... Their service was 1000% better
