Just plain bad service overall. I’m rating these guys so you don’t waste your time, effort, and money – you will thank me later, honestly.Want details on why I rate them so badly…read on…I’m a reasonable guy…my family say I am too polite, that I will avoid conflict, that I want to keep everyone happy…well here’s me hoping to keep you happy – go shop somewhere else.I went to DecoFurn at the end of December 2020 to purchase patio furniture; I was told by the sales person and the manager that the items would be delivered within 7 – 14 days, maximum. Fast forward to the third week in January when I visit the store to get an update – you guessed it – no communication – now am I told by a sales person who is carrying on as if she has better things to do with her time than attend to my query, that ‘they should have told you’ that the good would be here in Feb or March 2021.Well, ‘they didn’t’, so here we sit. I decide to be patient and wait another month…and yes…you guessed it, no communication and no delivery. Seems it is now March or April. I am such a reasonable guy that I will be polite to you even when you’re plain straight full of $hit…and honestly these guys don’t care.I decided to get a refund and buy elsewhere. Honestly, the R250 saving per item has not been worth the irritation these clowns have caused.There are SO many other places to support during such difficult times, and I am sure they will take your business much more seriously than DecoFurn.YES, the shop has varietyYES, the shop is well laid outYES, it is tempting to save the R250YES, it has the appearance of convenienceBUT NO, it’s not worth your time, effort and money.

Huge warehouse. Great variety at really good prices. From chairs and proper desks to coffee tables, couches, book shelves and much more. Staff was friendly and effective in helping us. Everything we wanted was in stock except one item, which they ordered and we picked that up a few days later. Will definitely recommend.

Great selection, good quality and amazing prices but wow are they disorganised when it comes to delivering orders. Everything goes smoothly until after you paid and then I felt like I was dealing with home affairs. I won’t be returning because the products I got and their great prices weren’t actually worth how unpleasant it was to actually get the furniture into my home.

Absolutely Not. if you ever drive past Decofurn in Silverlakes. keep ons driving. Do Not buy there. Quality and Service is Horrid, especially JP the supposed Manager. Very Obnoxious and Rude. if Decofurn wants more Business and Better ratings, theyll invest in Costumor Service Training and a much better more experienced Manager. Can a minus 50 rating be given?

I had heard they were good but they’re communication was horrendous - I never received a response to any of my emails about when to collect my order or any acknowledgment of receiving any of my emails. Only when i phone countless times and got hold of my sales consultant who was helpful did i get any feedback about my order. The delivery process was no too bad i was contacted by the delivery man and he was very helpful and kept me updated. I suggest that when buying from here you pay and take your item that day or else you will struggle immensely.

Pathetic service. Waited 2 weeks for a lamp I ordered which was supposed to take only 7 days. Got a call to collect it and then it wasnt even at the warehouse, no one had any idea whether it was shipped at all. Had to wait 40 minutes for this to be figured out. Quality of furniture is poor in anyway, so probably a blessing in disguise.

Exceptional pricing, helpfull staff. Stock was a problem for me, I couldnt buy some of the products that I wanted, although they were on display

Great Showroom, modern and very reasonable furniture. I visited the store without customer care expectations due to bad reviews on fb, but a consultant named Khutso gave me the best service I never expected, they ddnt hav a stock and he promised to get me a stock in 2 weeks, and amazingly so he called me in less than 2 weeks informing me of the arrival of my stock. 1 chair leg had a problem and I called him, and he willingly advised me on how to sort it out without driving back 2 their store and made a follow up 2 check if all was well. U want a best service and after service care buy from Khutso, they guy is good at his job

Large showroom with a good selection of products, collection experience not so good, long waiting times. Products themselves mostly need assembly, rather pay them to get it done if youre not technical.

No service on the floor, took the labels to the cashier to scan and pay, half way there was accosted by an employee, who shouted at us for taking off the labels, snatched them out of our hands and, returned them to the products. There we stood chastised and still no service. It was shocking treatment of a customer, I will never shop at decofurn or enter their stores again

I have been to this branch a few times in the last month. The service was poor, no one on the floor to help and it is as if the client has to run and search for someone to assist them. My mother was there yesterday and she was there for a while, walking around and had a few things she wanted to purchase. No one assisted her and when she asks someone for help they answer by saying they are busy. This is shocking service that we have experienced on multiple occasions.

Decofurn has really good furniture at affordable prices. The one in Silver lakes where I have shopped a couple of times has a stock problem. I had to wait 2 months for a table I bought because they did not have it in stock. But I would recommend their furniture for everyone, its good quality and value for money

Disgusting service received. No one is there to help you and when youre trying purchase items you are rudely and aggressively confronted. Absolutely appalled by how my mother and myself were treated is such an aggressive manner. DISGUSTING. Will never return to this store.

Store layout: great, neat. Shop floor assistance could improve. We had made our purchase decision by the time we saw the two assistants and the one available had us and another family waiting for help.

Good customer Services with low prices on their items.

Awesome variety of modern and rustic furniture. Store is understaffed not sure if its because of the festive season and workers have taken leave but still Temps for December need to be hired. Quality goods on display however the packaging of goods seem mishandled during packing, imperfections sometimes chips can be found on good. Not wheel Chair accessible no ramp just stairs into entry.

I bought an item on Monday the 3rd of May and came to collect it on Friday the 7th and arrived there at 16:55 just 5 min before they close. I was very disappointed to be told that I should come back tomorrow even though I have been there before they closed. I then phoned furnituremart the one that is just opposite Makro silverlakes just after 17h00 and asked if I could come purchase a headboard there, they were so welcoming and gave me the best service. Would recommend Furnituremart Silverlakes to my friends and family any day.

Decofurn Silver Lakes, purchased 2x bookshelves in January 2021, I kept on phoning to find out on delivery..eventually on the 4th April 2021 I requested a refund. Today is the 15th April and NO refund as yet! Your customer service is atrocious and is very disappointing that NO ONE can keep a customer happy. My money has been sitting in your account since January and earning interest. I waited patiently and now I must beg for my refund, it has passed the 5-7 days..

It is an awesome shop full of modern furniture. Just about everything you need to furnish your house or office. And most importantly, it is affordable.The staff is friendly. And I only had 2 issues that I think can be easily fixed.1. Their sanitizer stations do not work. I had to use my own sanitizer. I went there on 2 occasions and used the main entrance and the collections entrance and the different sanitizer stations did not work.2. I had to go back and collect an item that was out of stock and I really wanted it. I ordered it and I liked the fact that I did not have to wait too long. They called me to pick it up within a week. The issue I had when I went to collect was with the collections procedure. On the call I was told to come and collect. And when I got there, I went straight to the back, at the collections department with my receipt in hand (makes sense right?) But when I got there I was told that I was supposed to have gone to the main entrance and gottened an invoice for the item I am collecting from the cashier 🙀. If I had known I could have gone there directly. So, I went to get the invoice, and went back out, around to the back, handed over the invoice and then waited for the item to be dispatched. So I was there literally for 40 minutes because of the collections process. I suggest that they come up with a better and more convenient system for collections to make it easier for their customers.I hope this feedback will be helpful.

Cheap furniture but worst service ever. I paid to have the furniture delivered and assembled and then they bring it in boxes. After almost 5 weeks of waiting. The delivery guys had to assemble it in the garage..... Decofurn this is not the first time I heard about your bad service.

Worst service I have ever had, I bought bedroom sets on Saturday 24.07.2021 paid for delivery and assembling fee,comes delivery day they delivered one wrong color they promised to deliver the right color on Monday they never pitched.I have been calling them since from Monday until today they have been promising to deliver the sets until today nothing has changed.what really annoys me is that they left the wrong color that they brought here.I would not recommend decofurn to anyone if you go buy there my advice would be buy and take your furniture with you the same day ounce they take your money they don’t care about you as a customer

The showroom is great and the staff are friendly specially the gentleman at the door that greets one and takes your temperature.

Bought an office chair there, to purchase and collect the chair was extremely tedious and the staff looked as if they were suffering from faking to be friendly, the chairs handles broke off in less than 2 months, was very tedious to assemble the chair as well. Dont recommend them at all.

Stood around on the floor, waited some time for someone to assist me. When eventually offered help, being told that only items available Im looking for is in damaged stock - at a HIGHER price than the one on the floor. Ridiculous. Store seems useful to see items before ordering online.

Placed an order with them which had to be shipped from Cape Town to Pretoria, after 2 and a half weeks the order wasnt ready, after attempting to obtain further information on what was outstanding it took me calling them 5 times(over the span of 4 days) to get them to actually phone me back(giving them my number each time I phoned for feedback) only to find out the order was scheduled for delivery the next day, but with the incorrect items being dispatched(Not my ordered products). Started the refund process found out they cannot, even though they are an SME, do card refunds but had to do this old fashioned via EFT from head office, 8 calender days later no refund has taken place as the documents were only sent through two days ago to head office. The worst experience in customer service I have had in my entire life.

If your item is not in stock dont waste your time, effort, phone calls or money and order from elsewhere. Maybe that place that starts with a TGoods not collected within 7 days may attract additional charges. Thing is. There is no notification of arrival for collection so best to have ones psychic powers turned up to 11

This shop is poorly managed. We have waited for stock and waited for service longer than it makes sense. Staff are lethargic and uncommunicative. Admin is slow and laborious. They have lovely furniture but wild horses couldnt drag me back. I will not be shopping here again.Update: Ask for Katlego. He went over and above to provide excellent service. My faith in this store has been restored. Thanks Katlego.

Display warehouse is impressive and great pricing, however service is not to the standard it should be. As I stood in the queue to place my order I overheard other customers waiting a refund as they paid in full for their item months ago but their item was still not delivered. When it came to my order they expected me to pay in full otherwise they do not place the order for the furniture but then cannot give a delivery time, the estimated time they do give is that it could be 2-3 months or longer. So its really a pity, really nice furniture but unfortunately not good service

Great showroom and delivering of goods great. We have a problem with the after service. We bought a few items and had to wait for the diningroom chairs. We were told it would take approximately 2 w. Already in our 3rd week. We have sent emails without any response. This is unacceptable. You need to keep your clients informed at all times.

Purchased goods at Decofurn paid for delvery part was sent because the other goods was damaged they promised to delvery once they receive but we waited until I had to go to the store after about 10 days only to find out they received the goods promised delvery waited did not come so went in the next day again load the goods in my car the salesman who help us offered to bring it is own car but I could not wait any longer I normally dont get upset but this was poor service and to date received no apology from the store manager or customer service

Probably the single most useless shop I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with. The worst service east of the southern Sahara, I take it that friendliness is a huge no-no when applying for a job. Time at decofurn does not seem to work as we thought, I would highly recommend that scientists rethink the space time continuum as we know it, as we have had it wrong all these years. I highly suggest some further research on this topic at decofurn, we might just have a great discovery on our hands here.

Good furniture however exchanges and returns are very terrible. Make sure before you buy anything. They will happily unwrap the packing for you to inspect the item and keep the packaging but charge you for it when you want to exchange the goods.

Unfriendly and bad service and attention to customers. And for the 2nd was told I can not purchase a painting that was on display, as they do not have stock!!!!! So lost out on me buying 2 different ones but was aggrevated and will most certainly not refer anyone to decofurn again.

Disorganised and dishonest.Decofurn policy for customer to inspect unassembled packs on collection.On attempt to assemble it became apparent that 6 washers were missing and only 13 out of 14 screws were in the pack.If your item is not in stock and the flat pack is not pristine. Dont bother

A wide variety of options, it is true that the store has a lot of items out of stock or only available on order from their Cape Town Warehouse, but this is due to COVID 19 and the current import restrictions/delays, thus can’t fault them on this. Most items are still available to order online (website is very easy and user friendly from a desktop computer, even mobile was good) , even if not in stock at the Silver Lakes warehouse, you just wait an extra week for them to ship it from Cape Town to Pretoria, which really is not bad considering the current Covid 19 climateI would also advise that you pay the assembly fee, the team was really knowledgable and worked quickly , unless you enjoy assembling furniture or if you are technically skilled, it’s worth the extra money to have them assemble.The products I received looked as they appeared in the showroom and online, thus overall no complaints (review was done in the first week, so I can’t comment on the longevity/ long life of the products, but on face value I would expect them to last long)

Very large selection of furniture at the lowest prices. Have purchased few times. Always slow cashier service. Like really slow. Like government slow cashier service.

No one to assist on the floor. We had to ask for assistance on how to purchase at the payment desk. You have to first get someone in the store who can scan the product that you want to purchase (and then get told it is out of stock)! Then you have to wait in a line to purchase the item and then go to the workshop (stand in another line to collect your item) which they open for you to inspect and then you have to wait again for them to close the product and take it to your vehicle. The whole process is time consuming and inconvenient.

Absolute worst in store service you’ll ever receive , nothing on the floor is in stock , don’t even waste your time time by coming to this store.Such a pity.
