Very bad service. I waited in the queue and it seemed as if they are busy doing their other work other than helping clients. Very annoyed. Waited there until my back was aching. No one seems to be knowing what they are doing. Went there during my lunch break and something that should have taken less than 30 minutes took more than an hour. They truly are playing with peoples time. This cant be right. You will lose clients because of this type of customer service.

Terrible service, took 50min to pick up a card when I was second in line. Also forced everyone at the door to sign up for their USSD banking so that they could type in their code when signing everyone up.

Bad bad service only one consultant during busy hours , Im so disappointed, by that time i wanted to move my salary to them . Change of mind . I waited for hour to be assisted. I will never bank with them. I have savings , looking for better bank to save .good bye absa Hatfield

I cant complain about the service......BECAUSE there is NO service. Because of this branch i am deciding to look for greener pastures......They dont even deserve 1 star BUT you cannot post a review without giving at least 1 star which is not what they deserve at all !!!!!

It is the first of the day that this Absa Branch was open, and it was my first time to visit this absa Branch in Hatfield today in this after so so much struggle because they moved from one place to this new place. But thanks to a guy who helped me nicely to deposit my fees.

There’s absolutely NO service to rate at all in this branch. Three hours later, after being sent from pillar to post, there’s no service at all. This branch is a complete waste of resources.

The service truly sucks at ABSA especially when it comes to customer service. There is high possibility you might wait close to 1hour to finalise your transaction.

I arrived at 15.00, during my lecture break hoping to open a student account. After waiting 2 hours, and watching the people in front of me get served, one of the cashier came to tell me that everyone was going home now, yet i was the last customer.... so basically they wouldnt serve me, and then she said the system is down.(if it really was). She then said that she would see if she could do something. So i waited another 30 minutes and missed my lecture, while she just walked around the office dong nothing. She then came to tell me that there was nothing to be done. So that was another 30 minutes wasted. So i arrived home, missed my last lecture, and wasted 2 and a half hours of my time, just in an effort to open one simple student account. Absa is the worst banking and business experience I have had to date, and am purely discouraged and saddened by my experience.

The service is unbelievably slow, if you can I recommend going to a larger branch.

The service is slow. You might always have to come back. Its so bad at this branch that the online banking computer even crashes. It is the worst Absa branch I have every used.

Nobody to answer the phone. In-store waiting time is ridiculous.

No consideration for disabled and old people. Everybody is treated in the same arrogant, harsh way.

Rather use the ATM outside instead of going inside, because you will wait long to receive service, I dont blame the staff, because those guys look understaffed, ABSA SA needs to add more people
