I have no words to describe the talent of the chefs. The food is out of this world. First time trying impala meat and I loved it. I had the best dessert ever. The staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Fine dining indeed! The food was amazing. There were some issues with some of the dishes, but honestly the rest made up for it, so its still 5 stars! Maybe best to come when its quiet night and the staff is not under too much pressure.

Amazing food! This place is a real gem. Fine dining tucked away on the southern coast. It’s a must! We had the 5 course tasting menu. Wow wow wow. We stayed the night and the accommodations were excellent. We can highly recommend a walk in the garden and a massage at the spa! We will definitely be back.

The Cellar is one of a kind, incredibly good food, not quite fine dining, but certainly the best I have experienced on the coast besides The Chefs Table... maybe 10 tables, incredible service, absolutely amazing food. Well worth it. Please make a trip out. Reservations are a must.Best. Every. Single. Time.

Food was most enjoyable but then it always is at the cellar. The disappointment was in the service and that the courses were served quickly and close together. Felt a bit rushed and no time to relax and enjoy the afternoon.

They ticked all the boxes!! It was our first visit to the restaurant for our anniversary and we were welcomed with a Happy Anniversary card, nice touch! The food was absolutely delicious and also nutritious - beautifully presented and served nicely. The chef, who is clearly well qualified, also came out to greet and meet. Our second time visiting and we really enjoyed our meal.We shared the Asian tasting menu and a prawn dish.The prawn dish was some French thing which we didnt actually enjoy very much but, the rest of the meal, ambience and service were impeccable. Well be back 🙏

We have eaten at The Cellar a number of times and absolutely love it! The food is incredible and beautifully presented and the staff wonderful and welcoming. It truly is a special place with fantastic food and not to be missed on the South Coast.

Intimate venue, romantic with mood music.. Some good variety on the menu, the Pork belly was amazing and the creme brule was great.... Perfect for a romantic, quiet, classic evening.. Our hostess Melanie was efficient and friendly.. and Steve her asssitant was always smiling and willing to help.

Great experience for old years eve dinner with the family. The selection of starters, mains and desserts covers a variety of options that are prepared exceptionally well - delicious food presented in a stylish manner (duck was amazing). Service was outstanding and prompt. The prices were good for what you get - even though a little above an average , not unreasonable for this intimate, boutique-style gem. Really nice environment/ambiance.

Pleasant atmosphere, although the dining area was fairly hot at night. I was delighted that the portions were fairly sizable and affordable.Seemed to have approximately 10 tables in total, so booking might be required for peak season.

Ambience was lovely and so were the tapss but our group felt the combination of tastes overwhelming. The duck was swimming in a very sweet sauce. Ive eaten here at least 5 x. Very disappointed this last time.

Our first visit to the Cellar and it was their Supper Club dinner for R220 per person for a 5 course meal. I must say that I was a bit disappointing. The only dish that stood out for me was the chicken chimmi changa. The rest was minute portions of very bland food. Wine was very expensive but the service was good. All in all money that could be better spend at other restaurants on the KZN South Coast.
