Absolutely delicious takeaways from 3rd Avenue Pub & Restaurant tonight! We ordered 2 Eisbeins, 2 Chicken Schnitzels, a Calamari basket and a Cocktail Snack basket. Everything was absolutely delicious! And at a great price too! Fast and friendly service!

Good local pub close to the sea in Umtentweni near Port Shepstone. Good pub food and drink is served to your table by efficient waitresses and the music is lively and enjoyable

Me and family throughly enjoyed milkshakes, cocktails, pizza, burgers and specials were delicious and exactly what we wanted. Friendly staff, will be back.

We were looking forward to visiting the pub during our month long stay in the Port Shepstone area. We eat out a lot when travelling and love supporting local restaurants. We hoped that this could become our local during our stay (we live just up the road). However, when trying to book a table to watch the rugby test final, the restaurant wasnt too keen on reserving a table for two and made it clear that our support wasnt needed or wanted. Wont be spending our money or time at this establishment.

Food really amazing, service was excellent As a visitor from Ireland I visited a couple of times and was impressed with every meal.

New upgraded deck is fantastic. Had a marvelous eisbein on special for R85.

Food was good and affordable and staff generally friendly.However, as non-locals we felt like we weren’t entirely welcome. Particularly, my wife had forgotten to bring a face mask and using her sweater as a makeshift face mask was met with a statement from the staff that this was not allowed as they would be fined if thy were checked by the police. She was made to buy a disposable mask for R10. However, minutes later two locals walk in wearing no face masks at all, walk around the place, go to the bathroom, all without wearing a mask, and all this was apparently fine. If you’re going to be strict about the rules, then at least be consistent and treat everyone the same.

3rd avenue is our local watering hole and has great food to match.... The owners and staff are great and always polite and willing to accomodate requests.... A great place to stop after a hot day at the beach.... Three Thumbs up!!!
