Treat yourself. We went for a girls night. The setting is a little bit more formal than your average restaurants but the prices are excellent if you consider the gourmet meal. I do not necessarily deem it kid-friendly. This is more a ‘date’ or ‘meet the parents’ destination that a ‘after jog catch up’

This is a ten star place. the food the best I ever eat . The service was beter than excellent and I personally think you must go to EU country to get a team of workers. They brilliant. Never ever me and my family got service like this and we was all around South Africa.

Brilliant food. Unfortunately we were bugged by some flies, while inside. Still had a good time, just something that should perhaps be addressed.

The food was done absolutely to perfection, the service was fast, friendly, knowledgeable and perfectly executed, covid rules were strictly but fairly and politely enforced, and the decor and ambience both very pleasant indeed.

This was without a doubt the best steak I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The servors are really friendly and super helpful and the whole vibe of Cattle Baron is just amazing. If you ever plan on an evening out with the family or to take someone on a date I cant recommend this place enough.

Was spacious during level 1. No uncomfortable seatings. The restaurant was baby friendly. Had a high chair for my 6month old baby to sit in. She sat and ate comfortable in her chair.

From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by the warm ambiance combined with delightful flavors flowing from the kitchen. Eric’s service was knowledgeable and cheeky. We had the Sirloin Nevada and Fat Tuesday( come hungry) which was prepared to absolute perfection. Sides were an absolute treat, creamy spinach, Baby patato’s, garlic butter and chimchurry sauce. I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms starter, it’s a flavor explosion. The owner is always present and runs one of the best restaurants in Cape Town!

Would not recommend for takeaway. They forgot a part of our order and honestly the food was kind of dry. I feel like theyd make more effort if we had been dining in.

Great service and a menu that would cater for everybody. When we were there they had an issue with their supplier for pork ribs, so if you want to go for that, maybe phone in advance to ensure they have stock.

Cattle Baron - Paarl is as solid as Paarl Rock itself. The best steak in the world easy. Excellent service. They cater for vegetarians as well, there is chicken on the menu. 🍻

We went here for the Sunday buffet which was very pleasant. The food was good and the options were plenty which caters for all. The service was friendly and on point, would recommend. I am not giving a 5 star just for the plate sizes being a bit small and only being able to go twice to the buffet which meant your food choices if many would stack a bit.

The five stars do not lie this is an absolutely amazing restaurant with friendly and helpful staff and an awesome kitchen crew.With accordance to the name just order one of the steaks, anyone, because its what this place is known for and it is what they do best.On another note they also have a Sunday lunch buffet that is perfect for when youre starving. They have a large selection of meats and side dishes. The buffet also comes with a starter and a dessert.In conclusion a visit here will never be a disappointment.

We had a good time at Catle Baron. I did visit this restaurant a few times and they are consistent in food and service. Very decent wine list too. My suggestion is to keep the red wine at an appropriate temperature as ours was served ice cold. Next time Ill call the manager before dinner to select our wine.

Best known for steaks prepared the way you like it. I like mine rare. Pleasant atmosphere and good service. Waitrons know the choices and in both food and drink. The selection is wide but affordable.

Fine, hearty dining with that real steakhouse-feel to it. The quality of the steaks is second to none. The best dom pedros in the district. And their chicken schnitzels are just yum. Perfect for large group parties or an intimate romantic evening. No corkage fee.

Time and again the Cattle Baron restaurant has proven itself. I havent walk out of here a single time feeling unsatisfied.They provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere and great service from professional waiters/servers who take their job seriously.The food is excellent, it is tasty and excellently prepared every time. Portions are big enough for a hungry, fully grown South African man.I rarely go anywhere else and would highly recommend Cattle Baron!

This is the one place in Paarl I always go to for a fancy dinner. If one of our ex Springbok locks frequent a place, you cannot go wrong. It may not be cheap but worth it. Excellent food..very friendly and fast service...always helpful

Posh dining room with comfortable chairs and excellent acoustics (due to the noise reduction of the thick carpet). Service was friendly and excellent. Food superb.... Excellent place to have year end functions or quiet family meal. Huge variety on the menu with Manu different dishes to choose from - you will be spoiled for choice. Go.... You wont regret it.
