First time visit and it did not disappoint. So much to see and do here. Beautiful grounds, amazing food and service.

Its a great place to bring your whole family or a romantic dinner for two, or for a team building excercise. There is so much to do here; craft beer tasting, gin tasting, chocolate tasting, dining out, mountain bike trails, great views, kiddies play area and so much more. Definitely worth a visit. Definitely recommended. Well maintained and very clean.

Great place which honestly doesnt feel touristy at all, enjoyed every minute of stay. A great place to spend some quality time with nice views and great food. Brewery, distillery, ice-cream shop, coffee roastery, winery, what else would you want? Ok, theres a fantastic cheese farm just 200 metres across.the only thing which is missing is a place for stay for the night

Gin tasting and wine tasting was absolutely amazing. The property was spacious and had different play spots for children and chill zones to see the panoramic views.Parking was a marked gravel road, with an inclined walk up to the main buildings.

We enjoyed the chocolate tasting but there is also wine tasting and biltong tasting apparently. The food was delicious. Large portions. Pricing was better than expected for the calibre of venue. Will definitely go there again. Amazing milkshakes too. A great day out for couples, groups and as a family.

Great setup. Me and my clients enjoyed the restaurant Devon and his staff perfect. Just the beer tasting we couldnt do because we were told by Candice if we one min later than 16:30 than no beer tasting with a pretty good attitude. I would avoid Spice Routes in future thought we would have been happy to see international guest returning.

There is so much to enjoy at the Spice Route in the Paarl winelands. From a fabulous beach bar at Wilderer (what a surprise!) and delicious farm-to-table lunches at Jewells, one can easily spend a day here exploring all they have to offer. De Villiers chocolates always worth a visit. However, the complex is becoming more crowded and commercial than ever before. As long as they keep the chains away, though, it will remain a cool attraction.

This was my first time visiting Spice Route and I had a wonderful experience with my friends. We arrived at about 3.45pm and so had limited time to get round the huge range of activities available as they close at 4.30. We did however manage to do the chocolate and gin tasting.Our gin tasting experience was phenomenal because of Duanes service. He was patient while we decided which option of the tasting we would go with, served us in a timely manner and graciously agreed to take geoup photos of us. He is so personable and a true embodiment of what customer service should be!We had pizza and fries at La Grappria. It was delicious!I also had a cocktail and it was once of the hugest ones I have had and the price point was quite decent.The location has amazing views also so it is an all round amazing experience!I would definitely visit Spice Route again.

Great place for lunch. With excellent choices of foods, drinks and more, all located in one place. Weekends can get quite busy so make sure you phone ahead to make a reservation other try going during the week for a great afternoon lunch, staff meeting. Take a blanket with to relax on the lovely green grass in front before heading back to town. Free parking with plenty disabled bays, the place is wheelchair friendly. Highly recommended.

What a great gem this is. Nestled on the hills of the Paarl winelands with breath taking views. They offer wine tasting, beer tasting, chocolate tasting, gin, grapa and liquer tasting. The 2 Restaurants offer from open fire alfresco braais to some of the best pizzas and much more. Lots of sprawling lawns for the children to play on and benches for you to relax on and just enjoy the views. We will frequent this place in the future.

We were at Jem Coffee and the breakfast was very good. Excellent service from Jem coffee. The owner Justin was kind, warm welcoming and a really humble person, I will definitely visit again.

Nothing says I am ready for pilates like rinsing a wine tasting from your lips with a pint of lager from the CBC brewery before you wander nonchalantly into a glass studio filled with R50,000 pieces of fragile art. Spice Route is also the starting point for some great mountain biking trails, pizza frenzies and chocolate binges. In short, there is a helluva lot to do and see here.

Really amazing place, with great wine and even better beer. Great place to spend the day with family and friends and enjoy the amazing views and also great chocolate and ice cream too, fun things to do for the whole family. A must visit place whenever youre in the area.

Complex consists of little buildings containing an artisanal chocolate factory + a glass blowing factory which produces really beautiful pieces. Restaurant serves good SA wines + locally produced beers. Service is good, but dont go for a quick bite - take the whole afternoon!

Had a fun day here with family and friends.I was a rainy day so we had to dash from building to building for the tastings, and we sadly didnt get to really experience the outside of the venue. But the insides were really great.My personal favourite tasting was the ice cream! So good!The gin was also really nice, I would just advise to do it with some tonic (the gin was a little intense on its own). We also did the chocolate, wine and beer tasting. It was all such great fun. And we had lunch at their restaurant. And the food was also great!I would advise to make it a day tour. We only arrived at 1 in the afternoon, and had to rush a bit in the end to get to everything before they closed at 5. So its definitely better to go early and then you can take your time and really enjoy everything.I think I would definitely visit again. It was a good time :)

Well worth the +/- 45 minute drive from City Centre. Great to take the family for all-round enjoyment with a multitude of choices in wines, beers, gins to savour and chocolates, ice creams and coffee to wash down after a well serviced meal at one of three restaurants. Was very disappointed with the coffee shop, bought a cafe mocha and Chai latte. Mocha didnt taste like it and Chai never had any flavour....croissant wasnt too bad thou, staff are friendly just the execution of their drinks was disappointing.
