Nice outing in Paarl if you want to try something other than wine. Staff was knowledgeable but a bit pre occupied. Good quality craft beer. Located on a beautiful winery estate with awesome views down the valley.

We went for the beer tasting yesterday.Very pleasant.Our host was well informed, explained in a clear voice all the details about each beer given to sample and answered any questions we posed.They also sell beer and other items such as T shirts.They were Covid compliant.Worth a visit.

A fantastic beer tasting spot with some merchandise for sale too. The staff are fantastic, fun, and friendly making for a really good customer experience. There are a couple different tasting options One has a good view into the factory through glass windows which is really interesting to see if you enjoy understanding manufacturing processes, so its worth popping in even if you dont drink beer. Unfortunately the factory only operates during the week. Highly recommend.

Visited from the USA in December 2019. My family and I had a wonderful time. Before we left I purchased a pint glass as a souvenir. When I got back to my hotel (in Cape Town about 40 minutes away) I noticed they had given me the wrong glass. I messaged the brewery on Instagram and they sent a representative to my hotel with a six pack of beer and the correct glass for no extra charge!

Best wine farm around, with the best craft beer in the world. Lotsa different food and very kiddie friendly.

What a cool experience! The vibe at CBC was great with lots of guests. The tasters are very generous and come in a four, seven or nine package. They also sell a stash of merchandise including t-shirts, bottles openers, ice buckets and of course, beer! Highly recommended.

Had a great tasting at CBC. Knowledgeable people serving us and a big selection. The pricing was also set out to fit any budget. We could choose between 4, 7 or 9 beers. Will definitely visit here again.

Lovely experience. 7 tasters for R55 - Very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can see some of the brewing process while enjoying your tasters. On display are printed jackets, T-shirts and other clothing items for purchasing as well as beer.

With beers brewed under the Reinheitsgebot purity law you understand why they have won so many accolades. Using a variety of hops to get the different flavours out of their beers is amazing and getting their water from the the Paarl mountain spring is also great. The tasting experience is second to none and you get to see the beer process whilst enjoying a beer. Overall a great experience.

Beers were just alright, but the brewery was quite nice and the staff were friendly. I really enjoy a decent craft beer, so my rating might be a little tough. Nothing was actually bad, it is just that I dont recall anything being a standout. That being said, I did buy some as I figured I needed something to quench my thirst on a safari.

Decent selection of beers! Whats cool is that you get to see the entire beer bottling process.

Literally the best place. The people are so friendly and knowledgeable about their products and very helpful. They offer tasting of great craft beer. And if thats not for you they even have ciders! Sometimes in slushie form

Very informative, and entertaining. Henry our taste journeyman delivered a good tasting experience.

Brilliant selection of local brewed beers. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about the beers. If you can do the taster of 9 - the last one, Rasberry beer, is a very nice close to the tasting.

Excellent, quick service. Recommend the larger - crisp.

Iv visited CBC twice now and enjoyed both visits.Go through on a day that you can purchase alcohole if you would like to buy beer to take home, Id also recommend picking a nice table with an energetic barman as it will make a difference to your experience.They do explain abit about the beer and whats in it as they poor it

Very interesting place to visit even if you are not a beer lover. They do have specials from time on some of certain beers.as well as very nice souvenirs on beer products and fancy packaging. They also sell various other things like T shirts with the CBC logo. You can taste the different types of beers.

Best craft beer in my opinion in South Africa. You are greeted with the smell of hops and beer, you can see how the beer is bottled here.Had a great tasting experience with friends. We had the full tasting and the person helping us was very informative and friendly.I also walked away with a hoodie, which is great quality!

Worst Online Service I have ever had anywhere. I placed an order on the 26th of May for delivery after level 3 lockdown initiated. I have been phoning this place like crazy. They dont answer their phones or emails. I have paid but I really just want to cancel my orders and get my money back!!

Amazing experience

Good craft beer. The taproom contains 4 counters from which you can enjoy a beer tasting set. Unfortunately, if youre just looking to drink a beer, the personel will redirect to one of the outside bars/restaurants which is a bit of a shame.The taproom also sells a wide range of CBC merchandise

What a nice gem on the Eastern Shore. We stopped in after Golf at Bay Creek. The dining area was open and compertable, with a little beach vibe. We didnt eat, because we already had lunch plans. Too bad though, because the lunch specials looked good and were reasonably priced. Good cross between shore food and pub food. We tried a flight, and all the beers were all very good and distinct. We are IPA drinkers and all of the IPAs were tasty and true to the hop mix in the brew. The non-IPAs were also tasty and varied. I dont like going to a brewery and drinking 5 of the same flavors in a flight. If youre on the Eastern Shore, I recommend it.

Absolutely amazing! Brewing in this area has developed greatly. The Amber Weiss is a combo of flavors with wheat that excites the palate!

Best brewery in Cape Town. Not only are the staff extremely friendly and helpful, the beer is awesome too. The cherry on the cake is the location. Spice Route has much to offer in terms of food and view.

Staff loves beer, it makes the tastings fun and interactive. Half the beers we tasted were wheat beers, which are not my favorites but quite nice for that style. Give it a try
