A lovely old farm house that has quaintly been converted into a guesthouse. Although it’s missing a few touches like an aircon, the hostess makes up for it in hospitality and knowledge of the area. Each room has its own character and it has a nice outside entertainment area with a pool.We stayed as a group of 7 over 2 nights as a stop over on a longer trip, and it was perfect for this. The balcony has a great sunset view.

Just love the outlook view over town of Karoo Soul. The view give so much soul of the Karoo. You can see the whole Southern part of the Oudtshoorn. The scenery from Karoo Soul it makes so much nostalgic over Oudtshoorn.

Great place and nicely located - Everything is neat and clean and staff are very friendly. Definitely recommended.

Not a very nice place, uncomfortable cold cottage, cold air coming in from roof, dog howling all night long.

This is the first time I have stayed here in more than five years. I am so happy to see that Karoo Soul has kept up high standards and still has such a great relaxed atmosphere.

Clean and well equipped self catering units. Lovely pool area in which you can relax with a glass of wine daytime or in the evenings. Beautiful landscaped gardens.

If you are on a low budget in Oudtshoorn this is one of the least expensive places to stay. Many of the clientele have left excellent reviews in terms of the accommodation, well trained staff and food on offer.The place is easy to find, its in Adderley Street and parking facilities are available.

Words will not do this stunning place justice, if you really want to grasp it please do yourself a favour and visit yourself. Promise you wont regret it.

Stunning, spacious and tidy. Nicest backpackers Ive been to. I would give the optional breakfast a skip though, and just get some stuff at the store.

Cool place. Friendly staff, free firefighters and braai wood. We stayed in the chalet outside the main house which has a private bathroom and kitchen. Swimming pool is very popular in the hot Klein Karoo. Will come back any time.

Very friendly & helpful Staff, you will get some Discounts if you book a Tour via the Staff for example Cango Caves or the Meercats tour. Big rooms, nice Sunsetview. Small Suggestion: a fan in the Room.

A quaint old-style Karoo style lodge with a very friendly and helpful manager. Short drive to town center. Creaky wooden floors could be noisy if place is full?

SLOPPY service. Asked the woman for something to heat the room due to window that cant close. Only the next day when I asked again she helped. Aperently the owner was informed

If you like animals, traffic and occasionally blackouts, this is the right place 😉 top WiFi so far. Backpacker style. already a nice facility with pool and outside seating possibilities.

Rooms & showers are not very clean. A nice accommodation, in the evening / at night watch out where you walk. We had the impression that there is some crime. You are virtually safe on the main road, avoid the side roads!
