Very good 4 start service, the food is phenomenal and you are taken care of very nicely! Would definitely recommend staying at the Queens when coming to Oudtshoorn

The modern and stylish bathroom was probably the best part of our stay - we fell in love instantly! The location is very central with less than 15min drive to all the major attractions (Ostriches, Elephants, Caves, Wildlife Ranch). Despite having been to Oudtshoorn multiple times, this was the first time we stayed at The Queens Hotel. Its a beautiful place with lots of heritage. Great photos line the halls, and the decor is warm and classy. Though we were two of only a few guests (#covid) the service was great. We enjoyed the Ostrich burger at the restaurant (which we had to ourselves) for dinner and breakfast at the Cafe next door.

Poor show! I thought I’d stepped into a real-life Faulty Towers….A Night Manager/Receptionist/Waitron who was totally out of his depth. A room that had leaking shower, broken plug points, slow/intermittent internet and limited TV channels. Wow… how did they get 4 star rating???

The Queens Hotel in Oudtshoorn is a grande old dame. Comfortable and very affordable.We were the only guests this evening, but this did not deter the staff from giving us great personal service. From servingus. a delicious meal in the restaurant, making a fire in the lounge and other small concessions.It ws a memorable le stay!

What a quaint charming hotel with friendly service and fabulous breakfast

We enjoyed our night stay there. Only the TV had very basic channels which was a little annoying. They told us the bar was open at 17:00 but when we went down at 17:30 they were still not ready. Tequila was also left on the back shelf, not the fridge. We decided then to go eat out rather.

ONLY Porter on duty for whole hotel.Mario very helpful and friendly.No reception, no restaurant, no room service.Only one sheet on bed.Covid cannot take blame for everything.

Wow! What an experience! The pool was such a treat, and the amount of history was fabulous!

Beautiful garden, nice place ,breakfast great ,but beds are like you sleeping on a bannana its so old ,other than that great place .

The staff, facilities was excellent. Would go back anytime. The stay was pleasant and even though Loadshedding was active, they were prepared.

We had to book in at short notice and the friendly service we got were fantastic. The food was also excellent. I would recommend anybody to stay at the Queens Hotel in Oudtshoorn.

Bedrooms need a little tlc, the public rooms great and the restaurant with a la carte worth of a visit we stayed two nights and dined on the balcony both nights. Breakfast very elegant and had the staff to match.

Queens hotel!!! The minute you walk in at reception, you get a very warm welcome.The receptionists are very friendly and make you feel welcome.Rooms are excellent and clean.In the evening we had supper! Rooms clean and good. Victorian. Central location. Food good. Restaurant can be noisy if many big groups are there.

An old colonial hotel that is situated in the center of town. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Free parking and a good breakfast included in price.

Wonderful eastblishment and centrally situated in Oudsthoorn. The hotel has all the comforts of most hotels with a touch of a homely atmosphere. Most enjoyable experience a d good value for money.

Victorian style city hotel in the centre of Oudtshoorn. One of the few remnants of the glory days of this town long gone by. Its still has the flair if those days. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The Restaurant is one of the few good ones in Oudtshoorn. If you eant to have a few drinks at the bar, make sure you get there early otherwise it will be closed when its quiet.

Food, accommodation and service in general was great. Lovely old-worlde vibe with great modern facilities. Staff helpful, prompt and excellent. Wi-Fi was also good.

Amazing. It will transport you straight to the old gold Rush times. But dont think that this means an old place! Rooms are quite new, restaurant os amazing and go to the breakfast with a lot of time, because ot is amazing!

Nice hotel.A rich and regal dinner, but breakfast is too poor.Central location and good service.

Unpretentious hotel, but clean and tidy. Rooms a bit small, but with a really clean and well-kept bathroom.On the first floor there is a restaurant where you can eat really well at normal prices.In the morning the breakfasts are super, with a nice little woman who prepares what you want on sight.Good place

Only 1 night. An old building with a story; everything renovated where necessary and with respect for the past, and everything in perfect condition and immaculate; blissful! The reception in the breakfast room: staff provides more than warm welcome.One problem: water shortage in Oudshoorn due to too little rain, emergency provision that Queens cannot escape ..

Located in the center, very nice, quite spacious rooms, fairly modern bathroom, the wait for dinner can be done in the living room of the house where armchairs and bookshelves make you relive the Victorian atmosphere. The dinner served allowed you to choose between 3 strong dishes and 2 desserts plus soup and salad, perhaps a little refined, but good. The breakfast is instead on the ground floor where you can also use the garden tables also because the room is small, good

Breakfast is great. Hotel relatively centrally located. Shower bath and hair wash available. Staff very friendly. Hotel itself is like an old manor house (modernized).No fridge in the room, poor wifi, no water bottle in the room either. Room and bathroom very small.
