Food was enjoyable. Disappointing that the kitchen staff dont deem it necessary to follow covid protocol especially at a time like this. Patrons have to make such suggestions. Come on guys- focus on basics- hygiene and safety first

Im utterly disappointed by this establishment. The quality is beyond poor and if I could give it 0 stars I would. The first time I bought a lamb bunny, it had no taste with meat mostly consisting of bones. I decided maybe a different dish might been different. This time I purchased a lamb biryani again, I paid for bones and rice. I would never be a customer at this restaurant again.

I just bought a lamb bunny from there that was salty and to be honest the worst bunny I have ever eaten. Im embarrassed for the restaurant. It lacked everything from gravy to flavor. Would not recommend

Really disappointed with the “DURBAN” lamb biryani. No taste whatsoever. The dhal wasn’t cooked properly. Bought from here a few times, the first time food was great, but since then not impressed at all. The naan bread is good though. Won’t be buying again. Found another place Sues Kitchen in Kyalami, amazing DURBAN curry.

Best Indian food in Johannesburg Ive tasted so far(next to taste of india in Fordsburg). Combined with the Durban cuisine, and an excellent price, you will not be dissapointed from entry to exit.

Really amazing food and authentic curries. I ordered paneer and the peshawari naan and it was to die for. The food reminded me of my home in India and that says a lot.The food is reasonably priced as well and the restaurant is trendy and very clean.

Clean restaurant with great options for meat eaters and vegetarians. Lots on offer on the menu. Curries really do taste like Durban curry where stated as such. Available on Mr Delivery too. Packed with care for delivery. Family and I have tried: chicken bunny, beans bunny, butter beans curry, samosa chaat, paneer Tikka, Durban beans roti roll, vegetable noodles and have loved them all. All well cooked and seasoned correctly with the right spices and spices being cooked to give flavour. Really thankful food is NOT swimming in oil. Size of portions are well worth it! Star lost for size of shared veg platter ordered for delivery was really only 5 pieces of veg starters...and which is expected to feed 2 people?! Also lost due to once getting chaat that was expired and smelly... Was refunded for this but could have been avoided. Some desserts could be better :(, others like the laddoo are sublime... Yum. This is my go-to option for great Indian food, well made and within the area, and well-priced. Recommended definitely!
