Good service thus far. Always friendly staff and helpful inventory manager, his always willing to assist anyone on need.

This is the best PnP. I had mistakenly lost my wallet in store. Came back after 30 minutes and a very kind David Customer care manager kept it safe for me. There are still good people out there in the world. David, I speak Gods promotion and Supernatural blessings upon you and your family all the days of your life on this planet.

On the 19th August I did my weekly shop at Dainfern Square Pick and Pay. I accidently left my small card wallet at the tills after I had paid. Later that afternoon I discovered my loss and phoned the Dainfern P&P. They said they had it and offered to bring the wallet to my home, some 6km away. My ID and new drivers licence were also in the wallet. I said I would fetch it early the following morning. Everything was intact and the management and staff could not have been helpful. Such honesty and integrity.... a pleasure to shop there. Thank you Dainfern P&P!

There are things to buy here, whats not to like.

If you enjoy waiting in long queues when theres barely anyone at the store, next to none fresh fish selection or merchandise without prices next to other items which are priced within reason, only to get to the till to find out that its x2 more expensive then this is the perfect store for you to shop.

I love the fact that they give you a car parking discount at Dainfern Square should you have to pay for parking. I have not seen that anywhere else.

Poor range of deli products taking into account customer profile. Rolls do not appear to be fresh nor crispy. Product replenishment lacking. Sadly not a store where I wish to shop in the future.

Spacious and very welcoming and had everything I needed with friendly staff and a convenient experience.

The times listed for opening and closing vary depending on the store manager’s mood. Meat and packaged veg is often off or straight up rotten. Staff are extremely rude, not unfriendly or even neutral, just hostile. Rather go to the Pick ‘n Pay in Lonehill Shopping Centre which isn’t too far away or a whole other store such as Woolworths or Spar.

The veggies are not very fresh at this store. Its best-before date is often only a day or two away. They are also frequently out of stock of basic items such as butter, milk and chicken.

This pick n pay is literally the slowest one Ive ever been to. The entire work force has a happy-go-lucky attitude and they all stick together, unfortunately for the customer. If youre in a good mood or just like good customer service, this is NOT the place for you.

Basically, everything is available... I enjoyed shopping here.

This is where I do my grocery shopping. A huge brand in SA. Prices are now on the steap side but that is the general trend IN South Africa at the moment. Being in a technical recession doesnt help either. All you poplar brands of processed food and drink. Usually has a butchery in store and a bottle store next door. Wine is sold in the store except on Sundays.. Snacks, chocolates and friendly staff.

The staff were all miserable at Pick n Pay Dainfern.The first till I went to the gentlemen left to buy more things. Then he comes back and he is paying bit by bit almost on purpose to irritate us and the cashier and packer thought it was funny so it was on purpose.I cant blame Pick n Pay for the customer but I do have a problem with staff attitude.I think its a shame as Im reluctant to go back there.

Well stocked store, the deli is meh, but generally the shop is okay.

I cant understand why the reviews for this PnP are so good. The meat selection is dismal, the meat quality is low, the bakery and deli goods do not look appetizing. Prices are high, and are not really better than other shops, and quite frankly specials arent very special either.I used to be an avid PnP shopper, but have been so disappointed in Dainferns PnP I avoid it and almost exclusively shop at Woolworths now.

Nice large shop with almost everything that you require from a dry and packed goods department. Good selection of meat, but often find the vegetables lacking.

Good quality of fresh vegetable and fruits.I think they change the eggs expirations date , as every time I bought it wasn’t fresh at all and the quality didn’t matched by written date !It’s a fraud I believe!

This is truly one of the most disappointing Pick and Pay in the whole of Fourways. They are always understaffed at the pay counters. The store itself has the potential but they need to improve management on the floor.The clothing section is also a mess with no set layout. If they can sort this out I might consider shopping at this location again.

Worst Pick n Pay I have ever been to. Unclean, workers are unhelpful and to top it off - the last visit I had there I was greeted by a handful of birds eating the mince on the shelves. Way to go Pick n Pay... not.

Picknpay Dainfern square...I am so disgusted...They selling rotten food...firstly it was the whole tray of 30 eggs...no mane brand ..we threw all of them away..today I bought chicken so called reduced yet they meant rotten..what’s the point rather charge us money than to save R18 to throw in the bin...u putting our health at risk...I am so annoyed.
