Super delicious pasta!Quietly tucked away in the corner and serving up some awesomeness from the kitchen… Munch made a wonderfully tasty and very delicious chicken penne pasta that will definitely bring me back for more!

Awful experience. Very poor service. My wife returned her meal twice and cancelled when 3rd time was incorrect. Wait times were extremely long and very frustrating with two hungry 2 year olds, especially when those that arrive after you get their meals first. Kids meals were also incorrect. Most annoying was waiter lying and blaming kitchen, when the bill arrived we found she had captured incorrectly. My salmon omelette and berry smoothie were the only good items that saved this establishment from a 1 star.

Very nice restaurant. The food was also nice. The Cheesecake was delicious.

A last minute decision to pop in for breakfast and to say they blew me away with the service and quality of the meal is an understatement. Well done to all.

Great selection of food, I have personally never had an issue with customer service or food quality. In fact the quality of food has increased over the years.

Pretty Good; We had breakfast here recently, and the food was pretty good. The mushrooms on my traditional breakfast could have been prepared better (possibly fried in butter next time), and the pork sausages could be from a better supplier next time. Other than that, the price point was solid, the service was great, the portions are great.

Convenient parking with an assortment of other shops around. Pleasant outside seating. Very polite and helpfull waitress was there for breakfast and the menu was good. My tea was served properly in a teapot. The service was quick and efficient.

Munch is our favourite local restaurant! It is a welcoming place with lovely decor and comfortable seating. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the food is always excellent. There is a camaraderie between the diners which is quite unique so every visit is great fun. Every outing to Munch is special whether it is only for a cup of coffee or for a lovely meal. Kudos to the owner and staff.

Some place should never attempt hollandaise sauce let alone poached eggs. Mine was beyond terrible to pick the nicest word I can express them with. I asked for medium and got seeping out boiled hard yoke that tasted like pot water and an extra sour sauce. Hmmm total sadness, the rest of the meal was lovely though.

Nice food. But service was really terrible. We were ignored the whole time. Only got attention when we called a waiter over. No one came to the table for the first 10mins of sitting down. It took really long to get the coffees and the food.

Such a tranquil cafe based in the Crowthorne shopping centre in Midrand. Always worth visiting.

Was a little disappointed. Ordered the Streaky Eggs Benedict. Cuts into the first egg and cold water ran out. I requested another order which was a lot better the second time round.

Munch is a great place for brunch or lunch, easy to pop in and have a delicious meal. One of the best things about the place is the neighbourhood feel you get, people are regulars and know the staff, and there is a real family feel to it. If you have children there is a secure play area. The staff are brilliant, super friendly and really elevate this above many other places. Food is fresh and tasty!

Lovely serene comfortable setting and great generous portions of food. Unfortunately newly opened bodytec gym next door blares annoyingly loud music.

I really like the pizzas at Munch. My favorite is The Gypsy. I order mostly for take away, but the ambience and service is great for sit down too

Such a relaxed atmosphere. Sat outside so i could enjoy the sun and spring. The service was great. Efficient and super friendly. The meal was so yummy. If you wanna try something different you gotta try these guys. Many people having lunch here.

Found Munch Cafe by chance! Was very impressed. Pizza great. Coffee good. The burgers sound great. I am going to give it 1 Michelin star as arrogant as I sound I am! For the record a 1 🌟 restaurant is damn good. Let me give you an example. Even in Paris you can count the 2 & 3 Michelin star restaurants using 1 hand. Humility gets it another 🌟

Fairley good service but unfriendly

Staff were playing the music loud. After several attempts to ask them to lower the volume and kindly change the genre. They still played Jerusalema. Loud. Awesome okay area by you will have to endure the amapiano

Coffee and service are very good. I also had a toasted chicken mayo. Sounds ordinary but its one of the best Ive had, served with fresh fries or salad. Very good and great value.

Ive been to Munch a few times because of the convenience of location and playground for kids. However, in these few times that Ive been there, Ive not been impressed with their service. In one of the visits, the waiter did not bring the right food we ordered. In another visit, the waiter was not a friendly waiter; it was obvious in his work and expression. In my most recent visit (yesterday), I waited outside (at a spot in front of the door but trying not to be in front of other customers) for 5 min before I was attended to. A couple of waiters walked past me but did not ask if Ive been helped; only when the supervisor came, was I attended to. It is very disappointing to see such service from different waiters in different occasions. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to other people in a hurry.

Your food was nice and well prepared, but, THE DOGS INSIDE THE RESTAURANT SPOILED WHAT WAS TO BE A GOOD EXPERIENCE !!! How do you allow dogs in a restaurant really, a dining area? The friend I had invited to meet at your restaurant was astounded. At least Ive been to your restaurant before, when there were no dogs, but his first experience with your restaurant sadly has dogs in it.

Absolutely stunning! About 5 minutes after ordering our food, it arrived! Lovely menu with something for every taste and well priced. The food and drinks were of a high qualify, the staff are very friendly.

Horrible service. My son wanted beef or chicken in his tacos instead of a pork sausage. But the waitress would not stop telling us how expensive that option was. Regardless of me telling her it was okay. Then when the bill came it was not correct. She had charged my smoothie to the table next to ours. And told me that to correct that i just needed to add R44 for my smothie into my bill, only to turn around and say ooh no you need to add R50 which is the correct price. The food was great but the unprofessional waitresses spoiled my experience of the place.

I only ordered a coffee while there, although the food that came out for other tables looked and smelt very good, the outside fenced off play ground has a nice jungle jim 2meteres away from an undercover seating area, its a pet friendly place which seems to be the meeting attraction with the locals that live around there, staff are very friendly and helpful, the coffee is reasonable and the prices are more than acceptable for the area.The shopping centre its located in has some security issues and pretty crimes from time to time according to one of the shop owners there.I will be going back to have lunch definitely
