Never again! Visited this place over the weekend. Neither the owner nor his staff wear masks. Outside seating was dusty and dirty and we had to request for a clean up. Inside seating area also dingy and run down. Ordered their “famous” waffles and warm drink and the waffles were absolutely disappointing. Drenched in oil and horrible tasting. I wouldn’t serve this to an animal let alone a human being. This may have been a special place some years ago but sadly taken a turn for the worse.

Amazing place, real value for money!! Attention to detail astonishes, a waffle becomes a full meal!! Excellent service from the owner/waiter, going 22 extra miles.. Well done extreme!! If close to Knysna, make the effort, youll be very glad you did!! 6 stars!!

That chicken mayo waffle brought back fond memories of when I was only a little boy, when I first tasted my first ever chicken mayo waffle, it was amazing, fresh and tasty indeed. Then to top it off you get a Death by Chocolate Super Exotic Milkshake, I mean the picture doesnt do it justice, it just needs to be tasted and enjoyed in person. A must stop place when visiting Knysna.

Was charged for items we did not order, and received 3 out of the 4 items that were ordered, and waited very long for the final item, because some of it was dropped on the floor and had to be redone, but was still half raw when we got it. Owner made impolite remarks as well.

The waffel was verry dowy. My gfs was still full of raw flower in multiple spots. I asked for a sharp knife and the owner almost had a fit.

Ordered a take away waffle and It got serve in a burger take away box which killed the look. And my appetite.Taste was okay, but nothing to write home about. And price is a bit high. Hopefully they change their approach, as they have massive potential.

The most amazingly extravagant milkshakes and deeeeelicious waffles! Not to be missed!! And there is a great play area for the kids!

This place has great atmosphere, great service, is family friendly, play area for kids and amazing food. I recommend this place to anyone who sets foot in Knysna. The waffles that are made here, cannot be found anywhere else, and the milkshakes are to die for. Perfect presentation and beautiful tastes. ❤❤

Beautiful historic old building, family friendly atmosphere. Family owned and family run business neans everything on the menu has a personal touch of uniqueness to it. The owner has a lifelong 40+ years experience within the hospitality trade both local and abroad. If you have the opportunity and thats your kind of thing ask him about his history you will be mesmerized.A truly special experience and you cannot vissit Knysna without trying one of the gourmet waffles at least once!!

Place was dirty

The waffles come in so many combinations that it is difficult to chose my favourite. I prefer the savoury waffles and the amount of topping on each one is amazing. They host childrens birthday parties in the newly built children playground and for teens there is a miniature golf course. Alcohol infused exotic milkshakes are available and are very different to your normal run of the mill milkshake

Wonderful place to have a great meal with kids food outstanding and the family of the restaurant is friendly make you feel at home

Waffles were chewy and coffee was weak.... expected a lot more.

Adequate but nothing wow. No real atmosphere. Basically just a sidewalk café. You have to place your order and pay at the counter but are served at the table. Milkshake menu more impressive than the waffles.

Great food, good service & fair prices

Everything tasted very funny for some reason. We were told my husbands omlette fell and had to me redone, however found a bunch of hair in there... Doubt that it was ever redone, might have just been picked up off the floor... Would not recommend this place 🙈

I am so happy you guys just moved and didnt close down!!! Hahaha🙈😂 drove all the way from plett to find the doors closed and the signs gone.We have only been there once and the chicken korma waffle was amazing!!!!Expect us soon soon!😛

Honestly if you are going to advertise on Google and you close during the day please mention it so that people dont drive from far only to find that your restuarant is closed. And try to be more friendly to people.

I dont know what I expected, but I found my savoury waffle disappointing. Probably a sweet waffle would have been better.

It was disappointing. There was basically no sauce ... The waffle was good but the toppings werent too great. The place has lots of potential though.
