I was there with my family for a vacation last month. The service is from out of this world. The staff service was excellent always willing to assist. The breakfast was healthy and had more options. The premises and the rooms were kept neat and clean at all times and the play ground for kids to chill around the yard. I will recommend the estate to anyone. you made our stay very pleasant and felt at home away from home

Really great place too visit. We are really loving the accommodation. The breakfast was great. Service was exceptional. Front desk is very helpful and the rooms are great. Close to many of the venues. Well maintained and there is daily housekeeping services.

What an incredible find. Beautiful location, so tranquil. Staff were incredible, the rooms massive, the food was great. Just wow. Covid has hit it hard and occupancy was low, I really hope this place survives as it truly is a gem. We spent an incredible week here and hope to be back soon

An outstanding place to stay with a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were very modern and clean overall with amenities like a working station, couch, etc. The resort has two pools to enjoy after a long day. Staff was friendly and willing to help whenever they could. Had a nice time here and sure would like to come back.

This hotel is an excellent oasis from the rat race. The accommodation is of the highest quality, the breakfast was generous and delicious. The resort has 2 swimming pools which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The rooms are finished to the highest quality and thoughtfulness.

What a beautiful way to end our honeymoon. My wife and I were treated like royalty from beginning to end of our stay. The staff are so friendly and go out their way to make your stay that extra special. The little details of care that have gone to the beauty of the rooms is superb. Hotel truly sits in a hollow which is unfortunate since its the ocean and the views in the area that are the most beautiful. Hard to consider it a country estate either since it sits below the surrounding residential homes.Room was comfortable but unimaginative. Restaurant food & service was average at best.Expected better....would look for alternatives if we were back in the area.

Stunning accomodation in Knysna, which was rebuilt after the fires. My room was spacious with a large couch, working station, closet and beautiful bathroom. Such a pity I didnt get to make use of the pool area. Breakfast selection was alright. Friendly staff. Recommended.

Lovely peaceful location. 2 pools and very comfy sunbeds with individual shades. Great communal shaded seating areas. Excellent waiter service. Highly recommended. I would definitely recommend the waiter called Lucky!!

The Knysna Hollows suffered damage during th Knysna Fires, and it has been completely renovated. It is tastefully redecorated with a total of 44 double rooms with some slightly bigger than others. Some rooms have sleeper couches so children can also sleep in the rooms. There are units with connecting doors for bigger families or groups. The rooms are situation around a garden with two swimming pools.Each room is equipped with an Espresso machine, and a His-and-Her style en suite bathroom. Because the dining hall is separate from the main rooms, they have provided umbrellas for the short walk through the beautiful gardens.The dining hall is open from 7 am to 10pm and they serve a hot (R80) and cold (R100) breakfast buffet.The staff was very friendly and the scenery is peaceful. Its a very good choice if you want to visit Knysna and prefer to stay just outside town.

Well worth a visit now that it has been rebuilt.I have now stayed at the Knysna Hollow and I have to say that the rooms are excellent.Upon my (late) arrival reception was excellent and the formalities quick and easy.The staff were efficient and friendly, the Food was good and excellent value for money.This hotel is by far one of the better hotels in Knysna now.

What an absolute beautiful, gorgeous, luxurious lodge. Wow. The room was spectacular, the bathroom fit for a king.Complimentary nougat every night. The garden is so well kept.The one and only reason I am giving it an average rating is that we were placed in a room with the heating pump for the pool was right next to our room. We were awake every time the pump started up and it felt like a 2hr schedule.That is honestly the only reason otherwise we would give it a 10star rating.

Restaurant doesn’t serve any food between 10.30 and 12. We told the man on duty that we’d driven from George to have breakfast there with our granny, it was 10.44, he actually seemed chuffed as he told us they only serve cupcakes at this time. The strained conversation continued a little as he made it clearer to us just how unwelcome we were. Fine if they don’t serve breakfast but why must he be so proud of himself? Why must he act so important? We left after he suggested we go to Waterfront.

From the Jasmine covered entrance to the spacious bathroom - this has been a fantastic stay! The gardens are magnificent, the staff friendly and very efficient. ..our dinners were delicious and the over all experience fantastic. The only hiccup was the lack of telephones in the rooms ( which would have been great if I were here on holiday, but as I was working. ..guiding...I needed communication with my guests)

Nice hotel and restaurant close to lagoon. No views but large garden area with pool. Modern new building, elegant interior, rooms with patios all facing towards inner courtyard.

We watched Knysna Hollow burn during the Knysna fires in 2017 - we lived about 200m away in Kanonkop. The new Hollow is a fantastic rebuild and a great dining venue

Warm and welcoming staff, the food is delicious and the servings are large, a variety of drinks and of not forgetting parking space is plenty.

A unique experience, a comfortable and quiet resort, the rooms are clean and tidy, with air conditioning, cooling and heating, an outdoor swimming pool and children’s toys. My reservation was included. Breakfast was not varied. Almost two types, all of them delicious. The coffee is normal. Five minutes away by car from the Waterfront of Nazna and directly behind the Friday and Saturday market

A very quiet and beautiful hotel. For those who approach it by car, you feel that you have entered a forest of dense and large trees. In the evening, it is dark and quiet. People who are afraid of the dark can leave the room. Of course, the hotel is built on a large area, like chalets. The rooms are next to each other, but the security is excellent and the security You see them as they go around the hotel every little bit, the rooms are beautiful and large, the hotel is not close to anything. If you want a supermarket or go anywhere, you must have a car for me. The hotel is beautiful and visually comfortable in its design, and you enjoy the calm and the sound of birds and stars at night

Gorgeous place very cozy design you could never get bored from just setting and staring at the beautiful garden it is a place made for you to relax; great breakfast and absloutly the best hotel staff.The hotel is one of the most beautiful, it was renovated a year ago. The rooms are designed in the shape of the bungalows surrounding the garden. The view is very beautiful, the breakfast is varied and delicious, the staff is super excellent, but a small note some of the rooms have the shower exposed.
