Perfection! Attentive, informative and friendly waitresses. Wonderful host and owner. Many vegan & vegetarian friendly options on the menu: we tried the vegetarian potstickers, steamed vegetarian dumplings and two tofu dishes (Mapo tofu & Tofu cubes with spicy sauce). The roasted coconut drinks and the coffee ice cream were lovely too. Everything was freshly prepared, aromatic, authentic and flavourful. We will certainly return to try other items on the menu. This place is a must visit.

A must visit! Ill be returning when Im in the area. Fresh and well made, all the ingredients used to create the tasty food are created onsite. Dumplings, noodles and breads are made daily, as the owner informed me (I couldnt taste otherwise).Value for money, I would rather avoid the vegaterian dishes and stick to meaty items. They both taste great but the vegetables are a bit over priced (the only reason this review is not 5 stars).

This place is a cracker. The food is fantastic and the service is great too. Had a great balmy vibe last night as we start to usher Summer in. Candles flickering, a warm atmosohere and the spicy crispy beef and plum chilli sauce went down a treat. Linden is so lovely.

Very friendly restaurant setting. The noodle soup portions were rather overwhelming and the noodles not delicious. The crispy beef and dumplings were tasty.

The host/owner was very welcoming and informative about exactly what was on the menu. The staff were really friendly. The vegetarian dishes were amazing, notably the green beans which was surprising. Their chicken wings were delicious, In my opinion better than their other meat dishes. Various starters alone, shared between 4 people, was very filling. The atmosphere is wonderful and the setting is so authentic. I just wish they played some beautiful traditional music.

Best noodles in town :) not the American/Cantonese that come standard at your local Chinese, these are more traditional from across China and even some Korean influences. If youre in the mood be sure to drop by!

Great dumplings and 3xcellent Beef in oyster sauce and crispy beef in plum and Chilli sauce. Dont miss the sweet and sour chicken either. A real treat for the kids is the exotic milk, a real winner.

Our favourite restaurant in Johannesburg. The food is always incredibly tasty and fresh, and with dumplings, delicious tapas and hand break bread, noodle bowls and now classic Chinese dishes too, you are spoilt for choice. The atmosphere in the evenings is energizing and the owner, Emma, always makes sure to check in with every single table to either recommend dishes, to make sure everything is satisfactory, or to just chat for a bit. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

I had such a great dining experience. The waiting staff were attentive and helpful (knowledgeable about the menu too), the food was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed.The head chef/owner (honestly, not sure which) made a point of engaging with every table, was wonderfully approachable and candid with recommendations to suit palates.We had a chicken pot-sticker starter (Charcoal coloured and distressingly good), and the noodle dishes were great too.

This place is great! The food is really good and feels authentic. The portion sizes are large which is to be expected because the prices are not that of your usual Chinese restaurant. The owner is amazing, she is very kind, interactive and welcoming. The waitress I had was very informed on the menu and gave great recommendations. Will be visiting again very soon.

Pron continues to wow us with their fresh take on Chinese. None of the classics here, but any dish you order will become your new favourite. Beautiful fresh salads, hearty noodles with broth and ingredients youve never heard of. Emmas quick smile and recommendations just add to the overall experience. A must for the adventurous diner!

Johannesburgs best noodle restaurant. The service is impeccable for dine in with the friendliest hostess. Our go to meal is the Rainy Day Noodles. For a starter order a hand made bread to start with. The chilli dip available on the tables are a winning combo with the bread ❤️

WOW!!!What an absolutely AMAZING restaurant!!We called ahead to ask if they were open and the woman said yes we can come through.When we arrived it seemed to be closed but then I called her again and she came out with menus.We ordered and sat in the car waiting for it. While we waited she brought us out some lovely Jasmin tea which was a total but lovely surprise.Then after not too long a wait we got the food and went home.Needless to say it was absolutely incredible- the crispy beef was unlike anything else I have ever had!! I now have to stop myself from going there everyday!!The portions are reasonably sized but not really big enough to share one.The prices are just slightly steep, but in this case you get what you pay for!!!

Delicious, generously portioned noodles great for sharing and coming to an affordable price. Also an incredible bread the name of which I have forgotten. Cheerful kitsch and cool decor that transports you to a semi-ironic different world. Incredibly sweet manager / owner (not sure what exactly the ladys role was but she is so friendly). Highly recommended on all counts.

What an experience! A beautiful, open plan restaurant that looks out onto the bustling street, with these big open windows. It almost feels like youre sitting outside. The waiters are wonderful and endlessly patient with orders and request. We took kids, and everyone was accomadating and friendly. The owner often helps the servers and the customers and, if she ever offers to order for you and keep the small plates coming, say yes! You get to taste a whole selection of small plates and dumplings until you are absolutely stuffed. They complied with the Covid-19 sanitastion procedures and the whole experience was just wonderfully immersive and relaxing. Dont have to worry about anything and there were hardly any leftovers (nice when the food stops coming when people get full, instead of everyone ordering their own starter, main and dessert and having so much excess). The drinks menu has some interesting sake options as well as some other Asian beers and soft drinks for everyone to choose from. Will see us there again soon.
