It has been on our bucket list of restaurants for a while and it was a pleasant enough experience. Just not a Wow as I hoped it would be. Fillings in the toasted sandwich I had could have been more generous. The middle of each sandwich was at least good.

Visited this branch a few times before but the quality has dropped drastically.We were the only other table but the drinks still took a little long to be served. Only after 10 minutes from placing our order, did the waitress inform us that they were out of avocado. We proceeded to change the affected order and when the food finally arrived, I was disgusted to find a hair within my first cut into the dish. Thinking to overlook this single hair which I removed, I was shocked to find another two hairs in the dish. We called the manager to address this issue and was even more disgusted with how the whole situation was handled. She was unapologetic, and stated that “It is none of our staffs’ hairs.”, and implied that we had added the hairs ourselves. No resolution was offered and no apology was received. We had no choice but to leave the restaurant thereafter.I am at an absolute loss for words at the type of customer service and food preparation hygiene practices going on this Knead. We won’t be back.

This is the rye bread I bought here, believe it or not. Its the worst loaf of bread Ive ever seen in my life.

Knead is exceptional because the offer hearty, delicious meals, delectable treats and options for the fussiest of vegans. They have the most delicious gluten-free vegan pizza I have ever had, and I recommend trying the charcoal latte at least once.

Really good lunch spot and lovely bakery

Love the deco. The menu is small but youre sure to find something tasty. Menu items are surprisingly affordable for sandton. The staff is super friendly and helpful and to top it all off Wednesdays is quiz night.

I think this restaurant is understaffed and the service was very slow. This made the experience unpleasant. However, the pizza was really good.

Ive never had a bad meal here. Always delicious and always positively surprising. Highly recommend!!

Nice spot to visit. Enough help in terms of waiters - friendly. Reservations are welcomed. The place is not too full and this makes it pleasant in terms of quick service and peace of mind. Easy access too. The food is great and reasonably priced. A must visit.

First time eating at Knead. The aroma of baked goods is intoxicating! Food was really good, service could use a boost, bearable because we werent in a rush. A quaint little spot away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the Mall. I will definately return.

I love the breakfast here. You get the perfect breakfast . The best thing is you can choose from a variety of different breads as opposed to choice of 3 or 4 that we get at most places. The waitering staff is superb and they also have beautiful cocktails at affordable prices

Nice spot, great location. There are several interesting things on the menu but unfortunately for our visit they were out of several of them. I had the chicken special and it was tasty.

Tucked away in the very quiet section of Nelson Mandela Square. Nice food. Wheelchair friendly for most part but not entirely. Wheelchair bathroom not far away. Being in the quiet section it is nice if you want a bit of less noisy area. But lack if flow through traffic makes ie questionable whether stores and restaurants in this section are actually sustainable which is a pity.

Kneed used to be an excellent restaurant. This morning I came for breakfast and it took 10 minutes to find out that they were out of food. They seem to have serious management issues, the whole place feels dead. I can’t rely on them anymore. Tashas is so much better.

Discovered Knead through my Entertainer app, an visited it on a whim for lunch.. it was so amazing we went back a few days later for breakfast. They cater to any and all dietetary restrictions, and happy to assist with any questions and requests

Somewhat disappointing. No Caramel latte, no mushrooms, undercooked eggs and a cold croissant. Otherwise great and the manager did come to apologize.

Definitely a place to be! Certain nights have game nights, this is also a nice place to just relax and forget any the long day at work.

Someplace I never Knead to go again. My friend and I met there for breakfast at 7am on a Wednesday. There were no fresh baked goods ready and their fresh fruit hadnt been delivered yet. It took 35 mins for my friends Smoothie Bowl to arrive and the muffin wasnt fresh. R150 for 2 Americanos, a muffin and a Smoothie Bowl without banana was ridiculous. An utter disappointment.

Waited a hour for croque madame. Then had to send it back. Manager stepped in and remade it in a few minutes. Was good in the end. Thank you. Pity kitchen is so inconsistent.

I ordered a take away soup from Knead as they are around the corner from our office. They delivered it to me with the soup in tin foil!!! Seriously do you know what a mess that made, it leaked out everywhere, if you dont have proper containers for your take away then dont give people the option to order it as a take away. Paid R61 for a soup that spilled everywhere.

Extremely expensive. I ordered a 100% BEEF burger with cheese, yet is tasted like FISH and if there was cheese on it, I did not see or taste it. Sharing a grill is never a winner in any food industry.

Terrible experience. Took 40 minutes to get a drink which turned out to be the wrong order. We cancelled order and left

I ordered Harissa chicken and got the deep fried chicken instead AND instead of the nachos being “cheesy” as described in the menu, I got a handful of nachos and some mayo.
