Sushi was very good. The other meal very average and we waited over an hour and a half for our order! Collection was so long and chaotic that people just started leaving without their orders

Was there yesterday. Lunch was OK BUT take away later was a nightmare because of the 50% discount. HAD to wait SOOO long. Staff totally overwhelmed with no management around to deal with irritation/frustration. Sorry doesnt cut it. I found Lily restaurant around the corner which does almost same menu at great prices too. So guys you lost 50% of my business yesterday Sorry !!!!

I placed an order via Mr D app. What a disappointment!!! Ordered and paid for Noodles instead of the Rice. Order arrives and guess what??? Mushy Basmati smelling Rice. Not only was the order incorrect, the food just looked unappetising. I called the Restaurant directly and the incompetent young lady that answered was totally unhelpful. There was no Manager, not even an Owner to take my call. In the hard times we find ourselves, this is just shocking. One would think that these Restaurants and outlets would go out of their way, and beyond their call of duty to satisfy the customers. I will never support Kakami again.

Fresh and very delicious sushi. My favorite is the crazy boy tempura prawn but all sushi is so good. Half price Monday and Tuesday, so best to order in advance and collect because they are super busy and you wait if you just pop in. This is best for take away foods. Love it and keep going back for more.

This place gets packed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Thats because this place is a great sushi spot and Mondays and Tuesdays are half priced. Be patient if you come through on those days, or order your sushi ahead of time if you dont want to wait. The staff is very sweet and kind. Not a lot of tables available but Ive never been arrived without a place to sit.

Delicious food, Kakamis sushi is one of the best Ive ever had and not too expensive. Service could improve, however.

The sushi is fresh and tasty. The spring rolls perfectly fried. Miso soup is a bit weak. Its a cozy little place, humble like your kitchen, not a restaurant. So dont expect that. If you go there and see many people, dont expect prompt service. I waited 45 minutes then left without eating anything. 😡

Sushi is amazing! So fresh and delicious.But the service is a bit slow and needs attention. Waiter has no interest and doesnt even bother to hide it on his face. Will definitely go back for the food.Most places when they serve buffets try to cheapskate and reduce the size of sushi or use low quality produce. But at Kakami I was blown away by the quality of the food. Well worth it and its very affordable.

The only issues are as follows: The car guards outside hound you for money once you leave the place, if they are full, your food could take a while to arrive, its in a grubby somewhat dangerous area, and the waiter is clearly hating life - as one can see by the crummy expression on his face. Otherwise, the food is really good and the pricing is relatively competitive.

We visited on a Tuesday so got the 50% off sushi which was.amazingly good value. Also had spring rolls and all was delish but ambience is lacking and although the waiter was not unpleasant he.had no idea how to be a waiter. The half price bill saved the day. Unlikely to return for sit down but definitely go back for take out

The sushi is very good here. Large variety and decent prices. Decor is very basic and the place is small.

The food was really great tasting and their 50% off sushi special(only certain days of the week) is just incredible. The waitress was also really good and even my I year old commented how friendly she was and how fast the service was :)

Good sushi, but felt judged by the staff when ordering more than a 16 piece platter on the all you can eat. A bit of a culture shock, as you have to ask them for toilet paper when hoing to the bathroom, and they are quite obvious about watching you like a hawk. Warning though - any left over pieces will cost you R8.00 a piece. Service also rakes very long and drinks are self service out of the fridge.

Service is totally rubbish. Thry have no idea what service is. But sushi is very fresh.

Family cant eat from different menu, have to sit on different table. Very disappointed
