Great atmosphere! It was a bit full but because the tables are well spaced from each other, I felt comfortable. The music was amazing as well as their service. We felt attended to at all times.

Loved it! I went on a Sunday and it was such a vibe, the DJ kept us on our feet with soulful Sunday music. Enjoyed the food, they were having a Sunday Special.I was seated near the windows so the tables are placed spaciously allowing social distancing and room to dance 🤭

Quality music, but very poor service.I do not know if it was because we were not buying expensive bottles but received a very poor service.Would give them zero stars.

From the reception we received a very warm welcome. Our matron was Gugu she was sensational in her hosting. The restaurant has brilliant views, you can almost see Bronkolspriut. The food was exceptional

Cubana In Southgate is the reason why there’s pictures of girls groups trending on social media accusing them of “waiting on Blessers”. Went there on Saturday, it was nearer and we were bored but none of us wanted to drive (first time for the 4 of us). The host was nice but untrained. We were thrown in the darkest place of the that place “the side with windows was full” which wasn’t true. Then we waited for an hour without being helped. No took our order. We left after an hour of no service. People who got there after us got service. Don’t go there if you are not a regular!

Nice chilling place but the waiter and managers are stealing phones. Zakes the manager and the white dude why did you say you dont see anything on the camera and after I said I will go to the cops one of your waiters came back with the 2 phones. I wasnt drunk I now know the waiters and the managers are working together in robbing customers. I love the place but no tips for any waiter who will serve me next time.

The staff is extremely efficient, they have the most clean bathrooms you can literally eat in there, the music is great and they ADHERE to the COVID19 regulations...not to mention the food it is out of this world and affordable.

The vibe was nice. My only problem the venue reserve seats and calls it VIP where people are expecting to pay R1500. Ridiculous scam to get more money when there is not enough sitting place. It either u sit at the bar or stand and wait for a table to become available. The venue is already packed but you will have 5 tables which they call VIP without people sitting there until the venu closes. Ridiculous!

Horrendous service: A single decoder for about 4/5 odd televisions... continuous bickering and switching of television channels, and setting of channels based on first come, first watch basis.The cherry on top had been the manner in which staff handled the ordeal.Suggestion (because whats the point in highlighting a problem with no potential solution):1) DStv ExtraView maybe??? ; and2) Up-skill staff on conflict management3) Avoid ever making a customer leave your restaurant upset :)

Cubanna Southgate was awesome. I was there for the comedy night and it was brilliant. Service was great, food was very good and the beverages were very decently priced. I will definitely be going back!

Im giving It 4 stars because there is a huge variety of cocktails and the music was really great south african vibe type of music am a black south african the music caters for that race(dont mean to involve race but want to be honest) the food not great but we had a great time

Bad experience at Southgate, all waitresses are Zimbabweans, and ,I bought 6 Savanas and it was too cold their heaters where not working I drank 2 and I was told that I cant take them with me when Im leaving ,so I asked if I can exchange them because my friends were still seating they refused ,nxaa bad service at its best
