Unexpected Surprise where chefs passion for beautiful and healthy food meet. The menu didnt do justice to the dishes served... under promise and over deliver! A menu worth experiencing to delight the senses. Pictured was the Apple tart and Gorgonzola salad. Brought a smile for sure. Well done chef.

Bespokery is a little cafe sized tapas restaurant in Parkview, its definitely interesting eatery and menu offering (has offering for the vegetarian, gluten free or vegan diets) and do yourself a favour and be sure to have a look at the menu before you go due to the menu size.We had a few of the small plates and I would say the vibe there is definitely more relaxed than others ie for brunch/lunches.Check ithis place out when you guys are some with Proud Mary. Also learnt that Parkview is not close to parkmore. And WOW, this is a dining experience, worthy of all the praise. 👏👏.Owner, Chef Nadia Singh’s concept of a curated food experience came to life 3 weeks ago, with opening Bespokery, derived cleverly from Bespoke and Eatery, and is certainly for fussy foodies, in a relaxed, chilled eatery environment..The menu is small by design, with innovative and carefully crafted dishes based on the Mediterranean small plate concept, yet caters for all dietary needs! Like me, it will be a challenge for you, on what not to order, so I’m having to go back to try out the other dishes. Sharing is highly recommended. And if you can’t decide, ask chef to choose for you and have them coming, like the table next to us did..Being skillfully crafted, the dishes are satisfying to the discerning palate, and journeys you on a taste expedition. This is high class eating without high class prices. Servings are not large but this is expected, what is surprising are the humble prices. The food is flavourful and superbly executed. Great ambience, chic interior design, along with warm and efficient service. This place deserves all the praise.

Went to bespokery in March 2021Had all 3 of the deserts over a week period and so far I can say thatRoasted pear 4/5This is a real unique desert and personally I love the taste of pear. It pairs very well with the conac base as the brittle pastry included.Dark chocolate ganache 4/5Very well balanced chocolate dessertSummer Fruit Nougatine 3/5Personally not for me the pastry is hard and strong passion fruit tastes are present. Nothing really stands out but I do see the value as a fruit based desert

Amazing flavors in each bite. Lovely light, interesting dishes - I suggest ordering a few and sharing. The Carpaccio is one of the best I have ever had. The cauliflower crochettes with gooseberry sauce was a pleasant surprise - so yummy I could lick the plate.

In terms of food and presentation, Bespokery is definitely a 5/5. Fine dining without all the fuss. What I personally love about Bespokery is the number of vegetarian choices. Usually a vegetarian would only have 1 or 2 options that are never done well and always feels like such by the way. Bespokery, on the other hand, is just so amazing with their veg dishes.

Glad we decided to try Bespokery out. The food we ordered was good and very well presented. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The wine menu, we found was a little too exotic and limited in choice, with prices per heading towards the excessive.Worth a try, but go with an open mind because it is a different eatery that could develop into a wonderful eating venue.

We were really looking forward to an eating experience at Bespokery. But unfortunately they fell very short and we were left very disappointed. The only thing bespoke at Bespokery is the interior and the food plating. The taste and flavours were a hit and miss with regards to the various plates. An ordered medium rare sirlion arrived over well done and containing more sinus than meat. The other paltes did not do a lot better. Again very disappointed.

Tge food was delicious with the lamb , beef, gorganzola, butternut nocci all great. Deserts not the same standard as the small plates though. So rather order an extra small plate and enjoy those flavors and hold the dessert. . Also better for your waist line I guess.

The food is flavorsome and delicious. Not the usual tapas dishes youre likely to find. Staff are friendly and very attentive.

First visit but do not think it will be the last. Good menu. Group of 6 going out together for the first time after lockdown to celebrate a birthday . All dishes tried were excellent. Management exceeded to our requests long after they officially closed. Good food and even better service.

We love this restaurant for the relaxed atmosphere that belies the extraordinary attention to detail when it comes to the food on offer. Now during lockdown, request the menu on WhatsApp & do a curb side pickup for a wonderful at home treat. This evening we had beautiful creamy yellow curried butternut soup, the tenderest & most delicious lamb with olive tapenade, beetroot & chickpeas in phyllo pastry. Yum x 5 🌟

An enjoyable experience. Specialising in tapas-style dining, you pick and choose a variety of different small dishes to share. Most of the dishes were very good - particular favourites of mine were the beetroot cheesecake and the dark choc/sour cherry dessert. I felt that one or two of the dishes, while interesting in flavour, could have used a bit more seasoning but overall I think this is a place that most will enjoy, as the food is very good for a reasonable price. Decor is beautiful, staff are lovely.

A culinary experience that totally delighted and surprised my tastebuds. Bespokery in Parkview - Mediterranean tapas for the fussy foodie. Catering for all dietary requirements from steak , chicken , seafood to keto low carb , gluten free, vegan and plant based options. Something for everyone. Went for lunch today and was not disappointed. All the meals ordered were really flavourful and there was a lot of attention to detail with the plating of each dish.Favorites were the muscle chowder and the cauliflower croquettes.Nadia and her team were excellent hosts and explained each dish in detail and made excellent recommendations.Will definitely return

Historically (that is pre-Covid19) we enjoy good food and thrive on the buzz and energy of a small, wholesome restaurant.Well... The food was not simply good, it was (and I mean this sincerely) simple yet fantastic. Nothing is more delightful and comforting when dining than a host who treats you like family.Bespokery is perfect. She has the simplicity of a beautifully gentle piece of continental-design art and craftsmanship, and that is not the food. That... is the modern light fixtures, cream-white walls, and hearty-wooden smell of handcrafted furniture.The food, however, is made with such thought and tenderness, the delicacy of a chefs hand, the creativity of a parents imagination… that each beautifully prepared dish, is art on its own.Each small plate is filled with a fascinating swirl of colour, textures, fragrances as well as decadent deliciousness!We believe that the truest test of a beautiful plate of food is the silencing of voices that serve as an accompaniment. Holy kamoley, I was not expecting this! Bespokery is very simple and unassuming in decor, but the menu packs a glittering, polished, decadent wallop. Each dish is an exposive balance of flavours that will have you licking the plate clean! Particularly recommend the lamb, and the pear in cognac to finish. World-class.

What a wonderful experience (despite a hiccup or two - one of them being told on arrival that I had cancelled our booking when all I had done was changed the time of arrival). The interior is chic, the staff attentive, and the tapas-style experience sublime.We ordered all six of the plant based dishes as well as the only plant based dessert (all vegan). Each small plate was beautifully presented, and tasted just as good. There were flavours there that I had never had before (and I eat out a lot), and that made the experience even more enjoyable. (Even though we ordered the entire plant based menu at once, and didnt state a preference, we would have liked to have been served the cold dishes before the hot dishes though.)My favourites were the Herbed Freekeh Salad, the Pumpkin Risotto, the Black Bean & Quinoa Koftas, and the dessert. And, my dinner date absolutely loved his Americano coffee.I love that the place is owner-managed, and Nadia was an excellent host - taking the time to stop and talk to us even though the eatery was packed.Yes, yes, yes, I would definitely do it all again the next time I am in Johannesburg.

This restaurant is all about the food. High quality at an affordable price. Great atmosphere too.

A sophisticated addition to the neighbourhood. The four dishes we shared were all excellent and unusual, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It gets quite pricy when youre ordering several dishes in the R80-R100, and the wines are generally R250 upwards.If youre slim the metal seats will remind you, so hopefuly the cushions will reappear when the Covid restrctions lift. There are softer seats inside though!

With high quality service and an extremely pleasant environment, the Bespokery is a place where it is a mandatory stop for any trip to Johannesburg. A more refined dining style with extremely affordable prices. It is worth trying the drinks that are very refreshing. We will definitely return on our next trip to Johannesburg.
