I was referred to Dr Albrecht by a friend. He is all she said but sadly his practice is brought down by the ladies at reception! As a first time patient, I wasnt greeted by a friendly face. They hardly look up and it feels like you are a inconvenience in their day.I was not given a prescription but instead was told it would be sent to the service provider and will be contacted by them. After 3 days of no contact, I phone to enquire. Again they were rude and unhelpful and just said they sent the prescription. They suggested I contact the service provider. When I asked if it will not be better if they follow up, I was told it is not their job.I contacted the service provider and they said they didnt received the prescription but offered to call the doctors office. They phoned back to say they will send the prescription again. After not hearing anything I contacted the service provider after 3 days. They again confirmed no prescription from the doctor yet. This was now a week since my appointment πŸ™ƒI phone the doctors office again. I insisted that the email me the prescription which they did under protest... which I then forwarded to the service provider. They had a 48 hour fulfillment policy, so I received my medication 11 days after my doctors appointment! This could have been so much easier if I received the prescription in the first place and the unprofessional receptionist were not involved!I was also sent for blood tests. Lancet told me that the results will be sent to the doctor within 48 hours. He will receive an sms and the report will be emailed to him. I took the test on a Saturday morning. After 3 calls to the doctors office, I eventually fetched the report from Lancet on Thurday and then made an appointment to see the doctor to discuss the results. On the Monday my appointment was for 11h30. I again had to complete a form which required the same personal and medical details which I provided on my first visit. When I enquire on that, I got a rude answer that it was the process, they didnt capture the information on the first visit. I waited an hour before I saw the doctor. There was no feedback while you waited, no apology that he is running late, you just had to wait... in a time where most people earn by the hour, this is unacceptable! To my horror I was charged again... where I felt I was not helped in the first place and this was discussing the results of the tests, it should not be a seperate charge! In a time where we are spoiled for choices, I would think that you would strive to deliver a good service but sadly these girls are letting the practice down, hence my one star...

According to previous reviews and the experience my girlfriend just had, its quite evident that reception and the doctors arent too concerned with their patients time. My girlfriend had an appointment at 12:30. Arrived at 12:15. Hasnt been seen yet and its 13:30. The receptionists havent managed her expections on longer wait times. So, she asked when shed been seen only to be told the doctor still has 4 patients to see before her. This is unacceptable!

I am disgusted with the professionalism received today.Firstly, the Receptionists are extremely rude. I tried to call the doctors rooms this morning at 8, from 8 until 9 i was unable to get through. This already causes frustration because with Covid you are never sure if you can just walk in, and me travelling a slight distance to get there thought it would be best to just keep trying. At 9:30 i eventually go through and managed to get a booking at 10:45.I arrived at the reception where i checked in and was told to please wait in the car as i will be called on the intercom when the doctor is ready to see me.After 20 mins of waiting after my initial booking time, i went to find out how many patients where in front of me as i stared to feel worse just sitting in the car.i mentioned to the receptionist that i had been waiting 20 mins already..She turned to me and said i was lucky, 20 mins is nothing, she has had patients waiting for an hour already - Firstly as a sick patient no one wants to be spoken to like that.No apology, just straight attitude.I then went back to the car to wait until that hour was up, i then went back in to see how many patients were still waiting to be assisted before me.At this point my BF came with me as i was slightly emotional after the first encounter with the receptionist. She then told us i had two patients in front of me, at this point i had been sitting in a car, struggling with nausea and body pain. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH at this point.I asked why they cant inform us that the doctor is running late when we book the appointment, that way we can prevent these frustrations - Both Receptionists then said its not their job to do so, its the doctors job.DR Jardim, I am so sorry that these two ladies are the ones who are effecting your patient base.THATS NOT ALLAfter 5 min of back and forth, DR Albrecht decided to join in, agreeing that its not their job to inform the patients..DR Albrecht, its a shame you had to lose your temper with me, you wouldnt have been included in this at all.But you kind Sir, are also just to blame for the terrible environment us patients have to face.Shouting at patients without even trying to diffuse the situation first - Very professional. All in all, i didnt end up going to see the doctor as i was extremely upset and couldnt be bothered to be treated that way.IF I TOLERATED STUFF LIKE THIS, I WOULD GO TO A GOV FACILITY.Disgusting Private Sector behavior.I will no longer be a patient of Dr Jardim... it really is a shame as he has been my familys GP for 19 years.

Mom came in on a Sunday not feeling well from previous consult. Asked for renewed subscription as the problem persisted. Had cold fever and was throwing up. Doctor didnt even bother to lift a thermometer or even check blood pressure. Just renewed script and let her go.

Dr Albrecht is an amazing doctor, very friendly and helpful. He explained the possible cause for my condition, he gave me an injection, as well as prescription with a guarantee of 80% chance that my issue will be resolved. I was experiencing severe pain and itchiness under feet. It started as if it was mosquito bite, then later I would wake up swollen. Little did I know that the more I scratch, the more I was causing irritation as a result I would swell. I went on ice therapy to avoid scratching. The itchiness and the swelling would move from one area to another still under foot, until I started experiencing the same symptoms on the palm of my hands. The condition became worse when it affected under the big tore, the itchiness was unbearable and constant. Only ice gel would cool it down, I had bought 2 ice jels so I would interchange from one gel to another. What I tried before seeing Dr Albrecht and did not work:1. Soaking my feet with warm water. I tried adding baking powder, salt, vinegar and dettol. Non of these worked.2. I would wear socks although uncomfortable especially a night, it did not work.3. I would rub my feet with cooling leg & foot gel, it did not work.4. I would rub with strongest menthol in town, Aboniki balm from Nigeria...it also did not work.5. I bought Neurobion tablets containing vit B1, B6, B12 incase it was nerve problem, but to no avail.6. I would drink anti inflammation tablets, calcium, folic acid, and multivitamins, all these to no avail....Upon seeing Dr Albrecht:1. He gave me injection (I dont know the name).2. Prescribed: Amoclan antibiotics, Allecet tablets, and Be-tab Prednisone. Results started immediately after the injection πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ Glory be to God.I was scared to be excited because I thought it may be too good to be true. The whole day I was getting better and better. The following day, for the first time after 2 weeks I slept without using ice or waking up in the middle of the night due to itchiness. The pain finally disappeared on the third day, no sign nor symptoms remaining.I thank God for using Dr Albrecht for my healing....I could have went to any other doctor but I was led to him because he was key to my complete healing. God can use medicine to heal us, I can attest to it.I visited Strubensvalley Medical centre because I had an appointment with Dr Albrecht. I called the call centre in the morning to make an appointment, I was told to come at 12:30. I arrived earlier expecting to see the Doctor at the exact time. I was given the foam to fill in, afterwards I sat for almost 30 minutes without any feedback from the receptionist. It was my first time visiting the medical centre so I also did not know which doctor was Dr Albrecht. Upon arrival there were a couple also waiting for Dr Albrecht, I only realised after being called to the doctors office. I rated 4 because of the receptionist, they lack communication, friendliness and the reception area can do with a bit of update for a private medical centre...

I normally see Dr Hayes who is an exceptional doctor. I have also seen Dr Albrecht on more than one occasion. He is an excellent doctor, always helps without referring you, he gets the job done and I highly recommend him.

Its with ABSOLUTE Bliss that I write this recommendation of Dr Eric Bue. I took my daughter to him for a skin condition wed been worried about for months. Wed tried treatments, eventually took her to a pediatrician who recommended we see a dermatologist. I found Dr Bue on the internet and Im so SO glad we went to him. He was great! Super friendly- explained the condition my daughter had- TOTALLY put me at ease! He was thorough and, in very simple terms helped me understand what was going on- super amazing doctor. Many thanks Dr Bue!

When phoning to making an appointment with the dermatologist, the receptionist was so rude and arrogant! So disappointing!!! I certainly hope that the doctors are not this arrogant and rude to their patients. Definitely not making any appointments at this medical centre in future.

The problem is at reception. You make an appointment and they tell you it wasnt written in the book, as if Im the one who was supposed to write it down for them.

I made an appointment for 10:45. It’s now 11:52 and still there are patients slotted in who arrived here much later than me. This is really bad, I never had to wait that long at any other medical centres before
