The service was good and the ambiance was inviting. Our avo ritz was delicious. Pricing is a bit above average.

Had a wonderful experience at Dinos. I ordered a Black mushroom starter, it was prepared to perfection. Main course was Oxtail and it was heavenly, meat was so soft and tasty, it melted in my mouth! Please do yourself a favor and pay them a visit!

Warm atmosphere, excellent staff service, I had the ravioli and red wine and felt like we were back in Italy. Very nice. Glad to have discovered this restaurant

We love Dinos; a little gem in Lonehill. They always have a daily menu, besides their standard menu. Food is absolutely delicious. If you want to go to an unpretentious relaxing grown up Italian restaurant with good food, - service and a varied wine list Dinos is highly recommended.

Dinos is a charming Italian restaurant with a delicious menu. Reasonably priced. Fresh ingredients, generous portions. I had a calamari starter with plat bread and garlic butter. My husband had a starter pancake with duck. Fresh Kabeljou with crispy fries- delicious. Service was brilliant. Owners welcomed us. We will be back soon.

Average good, nothing special.

Staff was kind. Pizza was nice. Unfortunately my fillet was undercooked. The staff fixed it and brought it back nicely presented.

Great family restaurant with an impressive menu, havent had anything to complain about whether its seafood, pasta chicken or steaks. Great value for money and fast friendly service.

Dinos was a regular haunt of mine many years ago, but I moved to the Cape so I havent been there for at least 12 years, until last week. And I wasnt disappointed. Same owner, that tells you something. Great pizzas, great service.

Great tasting food!

Went for the Monday 50% off pizza special that have for lunch. Both of us ordered the Dinos special (Yes, thats the name of the pizza - It contains Cheese, tomato, salami, onions, peppadews, green peppers & olives), and it was pretty good and decent size. As the pizza cooled down the cheese went rubbery so dont expect to enjoy it when its cold.

Had to beg for bar service.50 to 70 people in restaurant but they still play music. An unholy noise.Had to eg for bill too.Will not go back again.Extremely poor service.

Food was extremely well prepared! Hearty pasta that reminded me of the real thing we had in Lucca, Italy. My husband thorougly enjoyed his peri-peri full chicken. Great service. Fantastic atmosphere!

Just a really great family friendly restaurant with some great food. The chicken or veal schnitzel is unbeatable. Caesar salad to die for. Some amazing seafood for everyone to enjoy. You have to stay for the dessert to!

Such a lovely place & such a great atmosphere. Service was remarkable & food was divine! Absolutely loved this place especially all the art pieces & phrases displayed on the walls. It has a type of old school set up & that is my favourite! Will definitely be back for more!

Very well presented delicious food

This is a good place for a quiet and personal dinner with family or a date. The atmosphere is unpretentious, warm and honest. The service by the waiters is slightly slow, but I prefer it that way; you need to sit down, relax and slowly sip on time at this place.The chicken liver starter was superb and even though their pizzas are somewhat simple, it did not disappoint. The wines are a bit unreasonably priced, but at least the house wine is very good quality (Boschendal). We will definitely go back.

Dinos is a great Italian restaurant if you are looking for good rich food that has that home cooked taste. Always very good service, great specials and a lovely ambience. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Its good value for money as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Dinos. The service was brilliant. The food was tasty and well presented. The atmosphere is great, want to return in the evening as I am sure it will be even better.

Service was slow but they were very busy. Food was very good. The portions are rather large so you cant have two or three courses if you are not a big eater

The relaxed atmosphere and friendly service

Good for any business meetings you might want to have or even just a lunch. Its really an amazing place because of the rich history in the restaurant, I dont want to reveal which era but go there and see for yourself, its really nice.

Only went for small meal 2 had the minestrone soup which was outstanding2 shared a pizza which they thoroughly enjoyed.Would have been 5 stars but the salad ordered was 90% green 2 thin slices tomato, few strips carrot and hardly any raw cucumber.

This place serves the best pizza in Johannesburg north well the best so far l have had. The staff members are very friendly and welcoming.

2 Things. 1 this place is next level expensive. I am talking mad expensive. Average R400 per person. 2 the food is amazing. The menu may at times feel limited, however they do what they do well. Service is fine. I am however worried, alegedly the waitrons pay a commission on their tips when you pay via card.
