I am so disappointed! I ordered Beans Curry for my lunch today. I am a strict vegan for the last 5 years and never had an issue with ordering beans curry from any Indian take away before. But this one I got today had 2 small bones in it! Why would you cook a vegetarian dish with Meat? Please be very clear in your menus that your dishes are cooked with meat

Desilicious Albemarle you knew that the beef curry that you gave me was not up to standard. This I know because before you gave me my order you asked your friend to taste something. I didnt know that it was the food that I had bought. My question is: if it did not taste good to you and your friend why did you assume that it would taste good to us? We wont be coming back.

Thought of trying out a new place... Worst ever... Ordered a butter beans bunny and got a mix of baked beans and God only knows what else potatoes werent even cooked... Never again!! Would never recommend anyone buying from here

Food was ok. Geared towards a more subtle palate. Still looking for the best Durban Style bunny in the South of Johannesburg. Service was good and they did not mess up the order. Good friendly staff.

Really excellent curry. I always have the mutton curry and the servings are very generous for under R100. I have had good reports that the bunnies are also very good. I wasnt aware that the bunny was available as a 1/4 or 1/2. I will try the 1/4 next time as the only reason I had not tried this was because j doubted that I would eat the 1/2, although its quite possible that I would have!

Use to be our go to Indian take away but seems that Covid/Corona lockdown has made for spice, quality and quantity to go in quarantine. Ordered atleast 2 - 3 times a week and over level 5 and 4 lockdown even more frequently just to find a half bunny now consist of less curry than a quarter normally would as the half loaf is only hollowed out half way with gravy almost non existent. Curry is bland with watery gravy. Garlic Naan is ordinary naan spread with raw tub garlic and very bread like consistency that even tasted stale with minimal effort towards giving the customer what is expected and paid for. Fiancé enjoys the Korma but now also just a watery white bland gravy. If choice between beef or lamb is needed I have always opted for beef as it seems to be their best, with lamb curry always tasting like having wrong spice mix and never complimented the taste of lamb but as with most places each has their best dishes and beef is definitely this restaurants/take outs best. Really hope they return to their roots as very little is close to Durban Curry standards and even less when it comes to continental indian dishes.

Samosas tasted like fish. Think they should change their oil. Also the sweetcorn samosas tasted off. I would not recommend this place

We decided to try there bunny chows for lunch! We tried the mutton and beef and they were both delicious, the meat was soft and tender and nice and spicy! Our new favourite Indian takeaway spot :)

Really disappointing. Been here three times with guys from the office. Really hoped that each visit will improve but it didnt. Curry is underwhelming even though Durban heritage. I really expected a bit more for the price paid. On the last visit my mutton bunny tasted like beef 🤢. Had to get them to recheck order. Dont think I will go again soon.

So this was my first time ordering from this place. Ordered a Lamb Curry with rice and butter naans.Quick review:Lamb Curry: OIL, OIL, OIL, OIL EVERYWHERE and watery. Lamb curry lacked flavour and seasoning, overall was very bland.Butter naans: Very dense, doughy (didnt even finish it).Overall a very underwhelming experience. As a customer I expect value when I pay for anything.I am truly disappointed and I wish I could rate it with a ZERO Star.
