Good, really enjoy the procedure at Reception.Judging by the convenience of having an ATM on-site I cant imagine a vending machine being anything but better.Basement rooms are great for uninhibited enjoyment.

Very clean apartments. Spacious and good decor. Great value for money and close to most amenities in Rosebank. Downsides no pool and the smaller rooms kitchenettes dont have stoves, washing machine or pots. The gym is also very small.

I would rate zero if the option was available. Went into the room there werent bathroom amenities,there was sugar and sweeteners but no teabags or coffee sachets or kettle. Informed the reception lady who promised someone would bring the stuff up but they never did. As if that wasnt enough from 11pm till 5am there was a party going next door loud music ,people chatting by the balcony and no one cared about the other guests....

We had a great time and the staff was super friendly and the service was awesome

The location is excellent you have access to wonderful restaurants, shopping mall is nearby and other services. The staff are very welcoming and professional and exceed the guests expectations. The place has everything you would need to make your stay comfortable you wouldnt want to leave.

Horrible experience, hotel was overbooked, no key cards, wrong rooms given, room wasnt cleaned and beds werent made up, asked for the manager, he wasnt available, called him and he told me hed get back to me, only for him to ignore my next call and turn off his phone.Booked before a few times and gave it a 4star rating, but changed my mind after my latest experience

We had a marvelous stay. Unit is extremely well-equipped has everything you can possibly need. Noise caused by other guests is unfortunately a real concern, several times we were disturbed by other guests. Parking is alright but not great. More attention can be spent on making these units more affordable to the average person. Noise rules are not enforced and staff think nothing of guests shouting and playing loud music from their cars. Unfortunately the staff spoils the experience, they seem to think that someone like myself is not welcome here, and it was a bit of a trip spoiler. Would I visit again? Not so sure.

This is the WORST stay.My room was not cleaned for TWO DAYS!!! Even after the second day I asked reception to make a note to clean my room ( mind you - I shouldn’t have to ask for my room to get cleaned everyday. As that is the service I pay for). And it still was not attended too.Secondly, I asked for clean towels because I did not have any in my room. Since 18:30 - I had to call twice after and only got the towels at 12:30 am.Thirdly, There was soo much noise that same evening at midnight that had to ask the staff to ask the people to keep it down.The staff there are very unprofessional. And never again will I book a stay here. I wouldn’t advise anyone else to book a stay here.

Beautiful apartment style hotel and a affordable rates

I would rate this place negative 10 if it were possible. We stayed one night, during which time we slept 4 hours only. This place attracts brainless riff-raff who throw rowdy parties through the night. There was incessant banging of doors, running through corridors and screaming. There was no consideration for other guests. It was only after calling the police over and over, who then came to the premises twice, that the noise declined to a more tolerable level. It is now the next day and the shouting and banging has begun again. An absolute waste of money, time, and pointless accommodation if your goal is to actually sleep. Additionally, this business is not strictly abiding by the COVID-19 protocols and restrictions by allowing these vile guests to be hosting parties past curfew.

We booked a room for the weekend and upon opening our room we noticed that the lock was broken. We told the reception guard and he said its not a problem.When I wanted to go for a smoke at midnight I noticed were locked inside, the door wouldnt move. My girlfriend had a flight at 6am and we tried reaching the Residency for over 12 hours, but without any response! The WhatsApp messages are still unread and the manager ignores us. Nobody apologised for this situation and my girlfriend missed an important flight to see her family members.This is not what I call service and this is an outright fire hazard. Im going to report this everywhere I can and I hope you guys will change your minds.

Great place and beautifully furnished rooms. Had the worst check in experience ever. The receptionist was rude, uninterested, distracted and clearly very ill trained. Wouldnt even be bothered to give me directions to the room. Had to walk down stairs again when I realized the wifi needed a voucher that was not provided at check-in. I had to look myself over to see what about me or my dressing caused him to behave the way he did. Not coming back anytime soon. Made to feel most unwelcome and belittled.

They have the little exquisite Cafe with good coffee.. Customer service on point with the reception team alert at all times.

Clean, spacious place. Staff were always friendly, good service. Our room was sleeping to come with a hairdryer, but we ended up getting one (though we had to come back later to get it). Our room was on the fourth (which is really the fifth) floor, so we had a nice view from in front of our room, and could see our car in the parking lot. Small bottles of shampoo/conditioner, lotion, and body wash were provided, and small bar soap. Gates/fences increase security. Theres also a gym, though we did not go to it. (Just saw the sign.)

The room is spacious for one person. The housekeeping service is excellent. The main issue about this hotel is it does not have the restaurant facility. Its at walking distance from the Rosebank Mall. And thats a great advantage when you are living in Johannesburg.

Whether you are a foreign tourist, business traveler or a local, The Residency will be your first port of call for accommodations in JHB. I lived in the Residency for 1.5 years as a long-term tenant (first tenant). I had a wonderful experience as the staff, from top to bottom, worked exceptionally hard to make my stay feel like home. Management always responded to me promptly, the cleaning staff kept my room spotless, the security guards always made feel safe and the front desk went the extra mile to provide help when needed; even when I was ill with the flu. The Residency on Jellicoe is best in class.

Convenient if you’re not looking to rent for a full 12 months they have month to month leases without the administrative fuss but their cleaning and maintenance of the place isn’t up to standard. It’s close to a school so you can sleep in during the week the kids make a lot of noise. The staff is nice but they do require more hands. No room service or dining on-site so you’ll have to cook, eat out or order in using delivery apps luckily it’s close to the mall and some good restaurant

Absolutely shocking security. I came home yesterday to find my room door open as the cleaning staff forget to close the door. All my personal belongings and valuables were exposed. We contacted management and told ‘oops sorry’. This is the SECOND time this has happened. Not worth staying here if you are worried about your belongings and personal safety. I’m so disgusted how they run this place.

Assisted us with a early check-in which was very helpful and appreciated, unit was clean, we just had a tiny issue with towels, they only had 1bath towel, a floor mat and a hand towel, when we requested for another towel they were only able to give us a hand towel and a floor mat a day later, other than that had a great stay will definitely recommend.

Comfortable, large bedrooms with living room. Kitchen has a washing machine frige,dish washer,cutlery,dishes. Good for temporary and long term accommodation.The apartments are serviced daily. Bathroom have a shower and bath.

The studio is useless for self catering. No stove, dishwasher nor washing machine. They also dont clean the rooms on weekends. We requested they clean our room. They said theyll be there at 11pm but it didnt happen.

Its a 3 start hotel, so you get what you paid for. The bed is a bit softer than what I like, but everything looks new and there is a lot of space in the one bedroom apartment.

The rooms are quite pokey and they never replenish the coffe/tea/milk during your stay. On the two occasions I have been there they hassled me about payment because their system didnt reflect as having received payment despite me producing proof.
