4 star its a no.the pictures u see on their website must have been taken a few years back. Staff very friendly and welcoming.our room was beautiful and very clean.food 10/10.there is a smell when coming out of the elevator.not thrilled for paying parking. Towels not soft in need of fabric softener. The hotel as a whole need some tlc.the furniture in the rooftop lounge is old.

Received such terrible service. We arrived for check-in at 14:00 and we were told they were still cleaning our room. They made us wait at reception for an entire 30min! Once we eventually got to the room, the bin was not cleaned out and still had rubbish from the previous occupants of the room. The duvets were not of good quality, the inner couldnt stay in place. Then in the morning when we went to have breakfast we got the shock of our lives. They told us, breakfast was booked for one person. The lady at reception assumed only one person was checking in without asking and I was there as well. The breakfast is not worth the price. The reef hotel stays disappointing hey!

The service was good and the room was good apart from random drunk people getting into wrong rooms by mistake keep you door locked when you are at the hotel. my experience was good.

Lovely place if your keen on a up hill battle, elevators were in use. It didnt bother me would stay with the misses somewhere else next time around.

I didnt like the fact that it was a bit far from the ranks for those who walking, but its nice n clean. Plus there is a great service .there is also a rooftop to have some fun every weekend..its a vibe

Food is aaaaamazing! And the rooftop bar was a delight after a looong week of work with great views.. Definitely would recommend it to friends!

Comfortable beds. May I just suggest fresh drinkable water in the rooms,because I drink a lot of water and to fork out R15 per 500 ml water from your restaurant can become pricey. Although breakfast is on par,fresh coffee, and the varies other foods on offer may I suggest making more effort in having eggs available for breakfast. Supper however has not been that good,twice the food were tasteless or the oxtail one evening I had to beg the staff for meat and not just bone,as you are not allowed to dish by yourself.Friendly staff, but at the breakfast and dinner area they can make you feel like have to hold back on eating,because when dishing you get tips of dishing spoons.In and around the lift area there was a constant rotten smell which bothered me only when moving to and back from the restaurant...

Services were unique you need to be there and witness it yourself.

Review based on Elevate Roof Top only.It was rather quiet so we were spoilt for choice on where to sit. The views from up here are beautiful and the place is probably underrated. Staff is friendly. Although some items were not available, the menu is quite reasonable in terms of prices. Parking is available at the hotel but it can be very tight. Worth checking out. Great music too.

The rooms themselves were clean and safe but the building as a whole was a bit dilapidated. The parking area was narrow and compact and really difficult to navigate. Had to wait for the owner of the room to arrive and provide the key before entering the room as well.

They observe the Covid19 guidelines, no one leave the room without a mask. Also they are fantastic in house keeping and hygiene is great.

And then i didnt have to wait long for the elevator which i loved, the room was lovely, it was clean, neat and the furniture was beautiful and modern, but ypur parking guys hayi aaah!!!.... 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣... Whats up with that?

Very nyc clean place great service, but they should invest in Bar fridges

The place has a potential but needs a bit of improvement to and maintenance. The towels dont look like they use proper detergents to keep them and soft. The food was not nice and some glasses were dirty. According to me the Hotel is not a 4 star hotel it is a 3 star hotel. I have their carpets needs to be change and furniture needs to be refurbished. The stuff is very friendly and I would go back again provided they change/update few things.

Very great place. But 1 hotel receptionist wasnt at all welcoming.. I got there and greeted her, she kept quiet.. Didnt at all pay attention to me until the person i came to approached me. Overall it was great. Room service was good and the receptionist that was present during my checkout was friendly and had a brilliant smile for her guests.

No sanitizer in sight during covid. Place could use with some maintenance

The hotel is at a strategic point, right along a road street with no traffic jam at all. The security inside and outside the hotel was also superb. The hospitality was on point, the staff made sure you feel welcome and at home. The meals, Professionally prepared with wide variety to choose from. The fruits were however not as fresh. Great place to stay.

Staff were super friendly and willing to help with anything. The room, dining area and general hotel was clean and smelled good. Very competitive pricing and good food . Overall the venue is stunning and I look forward to returning to enjoy the reef hotel in the future

It is a nice hotel but the towels were dirty, the toilet was smelly when we arrived and not speaking about the food very horrible .

All in all good experience nice and quiet place , though the tv package was dissapointing no Dstv or Netflix just SABC.

Besides rooms not having fridges and irons, good stay overall. Google/websites say there are no pools nor hot tubs but there are 2 hot tubs on 3rd floor that require guests to ask for heating 6hrs in advance. Their dining is quite steep on the pocket. AWESOME staff and beautiful views of the CBD!
