Bad experience, paid a joining fee of 300, just to realize that one who signed me up never paid my membership fee and gave me a tag that belongs to someone else and owed the gym a sum of money. Just horrible experience!

Gets quiet packed sometimes, parking is not readily available, the gym is just okay, nothing modest about it.

1. Lacks maintenance2. Could get too crowded,3. One guy from the floor management staff doesnt deserve to work with people, his approach is totally unacceptable.4. At times you wanna get in but the receptionist is busy registering a newcomer on the biometric system, blocking the only entrance and causing unnecessary line.5. Some equipment dont work but kept there for deco. I assume :)Suggestion:a) Sales guys shouldnt crowd the door too much, its uncomfortable, especially for the first-timers and women.b) 20h00 for closing is too early for a central gym, I wish they could look into that too.Other that that, Gym is fine, I dont use showers because the mens smell awful. New management or staff training could take this gym to the top. I love the gym, now that I have a c.r.u.s.h LOL

They debit twice in November and their reason for that is to maintain the upkeepof the the gym but you dont even see that. 3/10 showers arent working, the steam room is always temporarilyout of service,there are cockroaches. Some of the equipment dont even work. If there is loadshedding forget about your workout routine. Im so glad my membership has come to an end. Never again!!!

Im happy. Gym makes me happy. We have to admit that there are better gyms than his one, Im talking furniture, appliances, lighting and so on. Its not far off in terms of standards, just that they can do better there. Gym experience, top class instructors. Love that

The staff is friendly and helpful..Environment is clean and the floor managers makes sure we follow the COVID 19 precautions for our safety.Classes are amazing and so is our instructors.Restrooms are always and so are the showers.Cannot wait for them to re-open the steam room again

Carlton gym company is great, I mean it has most of the gym equipment still being looked after...... obeying the covid rules its great.

Lockers can be fiddled with and opened even when there is a padlock and the door is locked. Safety of items belonging to clients not guaranteed.

I no longer train here. I use to. This gym has most of the equipment you need but the equipment is very old. There are limited classes here. There is no pool and sauna. There is a great energy at the gym with friendly staff. The personal trainers train you for free. The membership is only R99pm and R199 if you train at any branch

Their services are very poor I cant even use my tag its been a month now.when i enquire they tell me that its Hrs problem any question they cant answer the lady at receipt is full of nonsense attitude

I joined this gym on the 28th september 2016 and i was also debited on the 1st of October 2016 .Then on the 31st of March 2019 i lost my job . Then my contract with this company was supposed to end on the 28th of September 2019 then the supposedly admin Thandi Mthombeni gave me a cancellation letter that is in contradictory with their contract agreement that says if you are owing your contract wont be terminated but becomes a month to month contract .Then i told her i lost my job and they are supposed to stop debiting my account as it is attracting the charges of a bounced debit orders which is R60 which is in breach that authority to debit someones account it can be terminated any time as i am under no duress with my aacount. I gave my notice of cancellation in july prior my 36 month . Then now im being asked to be paying an ongoing contract by their manager Daniel who is sarcastic saying i need an advisor to read the contract for me .What an insult who didnt even provide for me with that statement and invoices of the money i was paying . Is now gym company a loan shark that is forcing its contract when i am not even gyming with them wow .Before anyone joins this gym make sure u read the contract .

Place is bad condition. Water dripping on your head, from the ceiling while you gym. Equipment is well maintained but the security is bad in the lockers, things get stolen all the time.

Good gym depending on the time you go. At peak times, its too crowded and the big guys feel entitled to the equipment.

Its sad that some members have the changing locks to themselves. For an example, one lady uses the same locker Jan to Dec. locker number 194. They have an agreement with the cleaning ladies to reserve those lockers for them. This is a disadvantage to those who come on time but wont get a locker.

The stuff is unprofessional, I had a contract with carlton gym which is now gym company for 12 months sent them an email as per their contract that I do not wish to renew my contract. They kept on taking my money until my bank stopped me. They have been sending smses ever since saying if I rejoined they will clear my debt. Even after so many calls ive made to them that am not interested. Now they say am due for blacklist. Bullshit
