There are always such good specials. Pleasant to go early on a Saturday morning. When its fruit season a punit of strawberries can be as low as R5. The chicken is amazing and specials get down to R39. 99 per kilo which is brilliant.

Worse service ever. Kitchen is always filthy except when Mamzo is there. When you ask them to atleast tidy up the place before serving you the food, they give you attitude.

Worst service I have ever encounter at any establishment I have ever been too. They have 5 employees standing around their weighing machine doing sweet nothing yet you stand there for 20 minutes waiting for service only to end up walking out with nothing.

My friendly Spar! By far my favourite Spar! They have sales every weekend. Their vegetable prices are awesome. Thanks to MY friendly Spar, I eat more fruits and vegetables. Love their meat specials as well. In fact, Lyndhurst Spar (My friendly Spar) is almost taking care of the community ensuring everyone gets their basic foods at the cheapest rates. Just bought a doughnut, I’m not happy with the packaging, cream is all over the box because the doughnut is facing down. Secondly It is not fresh, the taste is so weird 🤔

There when you need it but needs more parking

Best place ever for affordable greens and fruits. Their specials on meat also always a hit. But can they clear up the rotting stuff off the isles man like potatoes going bad and no one bothering to clear it up and you literally have to dig deep down to get the ones that are still ok.

Great deals but after buying here for years had a few dissatisfied experiences with the meat parcels, nice meat packed on top and loads of bones at the bottom, called and complained, call was returned by a manager when asked to speak to Management, was told someone would call back been months now and still waiting for that call, fruit and veg not always good.

Worst serviceThe prices on the shelves change when you get to the till. Its like they are running a scheme that steals R1.I bought Bar one on 20th August, shelve price R10.99, at the till R11.99. Called the manager they fixed it.On the 3rd of October, two weeks later I bought the same Bar one, same thing happened. Whats worse, the same thing happened with Nik Naks. This means I got delayed 3 times because of their pricing. Im truly not happy.

Other than there not being enough parking and someone having crashed into my car and destroyed my headlight, and run away... the specials here are fabulous!!! Get there early if you want to benefit from their daily, weekly and monthly specials!

I ordered 2 wraps and a large chips. I got the wraps in a fair amount of time and waited and waited and waited some more for the chips while 10 other people that came after me got chips. I asked Vivian where is my chips? I ordered it 35 min ago already and all this other people came after me. She started screaming at me telling me I am a liar. Sorry Spar, your great discounted fruit and veg prices is not worth the getting treated like that by you employees. I will be moving my business elsewhere.

Good specials and cheap on lot of things. Though small but their specials are very good. During specials, parking is a nightmare. But do check it out and visit during their special days. You will appreciate their specials.

Listen, the specials on fruits and veggies were nice, but the quality of the produce is shady. As much as low prices are great, quality would be equally just as great. We had wanted to get cooked full chicken, but it looked overly spiced like😫. Its a suburban spaza shop. It was adjoined to a Tops, as Spars are known to do, and that seemed okay from outside because I did not go into the Tops. What was great was the service from the cashiers and till packer. They did a good job and were so friendly. There was a shortage of smaller trollies, but an abundance of the big ones, mind you the stores layout does not allow for for the big trollies to maneuver around without bumping into other patrons or having to wait. The space is small.

Its a cool place with friendly staff but I didnt like the fact that sometimes the price displayed on the shelves changes at the till and some of the fruits are not so fresh.

Best shwarma in roll in town!

Although they are doing renovations in the store, currently, they have this amazing wrap at the fresh foods counter. They call it a shawarma but I think its more like a massive wrap. They offer chicken or beef. I havent tried the beef as yet. It is seriously a big meal for the normal Joe Soap to be eating. And really tasty too. For the price, its a winner all day long!!!

Cheaper vegetables always, but the Shop looks old, renovations are needed.

I came here for the first time a few days ago looking for a ready made meal. I bought pap, chakalaka & some meat. At first glance I wasnt appetised by the appearance but I paid & left. The piece of steak & vors were both burnt beyond belief, it was like having pap & biltong. The chakalaka was really good though, I dont think Ill be buying cooked food again here, extremely disappointing.

If you want cheap vegetables and fruits, this is the supermarket to visit throughout the week. They are fresh and tasty as well!
