Baklava at HGM tasted oily and off. R60 for a small box. Told it was the best quality and best tasting. Not sure if I was just conned into buying their old stock.

We stopped here whilst on a guided walking tour of Fordsburg, and I can truly say that this is the best baklava Ive ever had! Not too heavy, light and flaky phyllo, just syrupy enough. The assistant that helped me was an absolute delight too. Ill definitely have to make a plan to visit again soon.
