Dr Morua is a fantastic doctor, unfortunately her secretaries are not the most dynamic attentive people (luckily they arent the ones treating you). Dr Morua herself is sharp and observant, she prioritizes her patients. I was treated when I had COVID-19 and she helped detect blood clots before I had a pulmonary embolism or heart attack. Honestly she is busy so its better to call ahead.
Dr Morua, you are a perfect combination of responsibility and care! Thank you for putting yourself on the frontline of Covid-19, in this difficult time when both my son and I were infected. Your professionalism, humility, kindness, and strength are greatly appreciated. With thanks - Dr S Naidoo & Késhan.
The Dr was very rude. I wld not recommend anyone to go there based on my experience with her practice today
Very good doctor, easy to talk to, is very attentive and thorough in her approach. I would certainly recommend her.
I would give the doctor a 4/5, everything leading up to the consultation wasnt great. The service the receptionist had given me was not great at all, firstly called 5 times to inquire and only on my 6th phone call did she answer. I arrived there she gave me a bad reception. She had no name tag and was not friendly at all towards be but to the older clients was more friendly. As I was waiting at no point in time did she inform me of the fact that the speedpoint isnt working, I was waiting for an hour and a half. Thereafter had to go out my way to get an atm as they do not take EFT. Which is a more convenient way of dealing with payments if a speedpoint/ card machine isnt working. The experience overall left me very upset , pity because the doctor is a lovely lady.
Such a caring doctor, very easy to talk to about anything, does holistic check, you walk out feeling ten times better.
I was recommended Dr Dorothy Botshelo Morua by one of my business partners. She’s been using her services for a few years and found her very good, reliable and well priced comparing to other private practitioners in Sandton. So I went there this morning and, to my biggest surprise, I have never experienced such a straightforward racial discrimination and bad client service in my entire life.First of all, the receptionist was extremely rude and abrupt. I was the only patient who was there at that time, and she looked at me with eyes full of surprise. I didn’t feel welcomed and felt like I have to chase her to get her attention.Second, when I asked her for a GP consultation and whether I can pay by debit card, she went to consult the doctor and came back with 2.5 times higher rate than my friend usually pays there. This left me speechless. As a person who is extremely open minded and don’t treat people (or, e.g. choose a doctor) based on a skin colour, racial and ethnic or any other differences, I found this extremely sad. Unfortunately, I would never visit this doctor or recommend it to any of my friends. Its a matter of principle.Dear Dr and your fellow Associates, you have such a power in your hands to fulfill Madibas vision and provide equal service to all people choosing to create the future in South Africa and for the benefits of this country. I honestly wish you to open your closed minds and hearts.
Excellent, well-experienced doctor with so much knowledge and care. Also allows use of medical aid for consultations - a rare find in the Northern suburbs these days.
Fantastic experience, she examines you holistically to ensure that youre getting the right treatment. Fantastic
Doctors like her are rare to find these days period! She is a good listener and takes her time examining you.
She is a great Doctor, I will never forget what you did for my child last year. Thank you.
This is probably one of the worst medical experience I had. Day light robbery.
Awesome Dr! So kind and genuinely concerned!
