They don’t answer calls . Try to book ticket and just needed to know where I could collect as I was not in my home town.
It was pretty cool there. Had the Fire and Feast Festival going on. A bit confusing as to where the entrance was but we eventually got there. The dome is massive from the inside. Lots of food stalls and interesting spectacles. Next time there is an interesting event taking place there I will definitely go there again.
Attended the Music is King event. Ample parking space (paid) and designated Taxi drop-off zone for those who werent mobile. The only downfall was the restrooms queues which didnt seem adequate for the amount of occupants in attendance. The stalls had a variety of beverage & food options which was a plus.
Loved the different shows they had before lockdown
Turns any concert into a most intimate experience from Lionel Richie to Sam Smith to Bryan Adams and the amazing Andrea Bocceli... More food and drink options with the food trucks and Heinekin Beer garden and fast efficient service... Safe and well lit up with many entrances and exits and safe Uber pickup point...
Went to see Santana at the Ticket Pro DomeParking was great on the opposite side of the road, some stalls selling food and booze. Some mobile vendors selling other drinks and food itemsThe sound system was good, great trying to see Mango Groove as the opening act, but that is the problem, you are trying to see the acts on the stage, flat floor and not much of a raised stage. If I wanted to see an act on a screen I would do it at home and not pay R500 for a ticket.Buy the DVD and watch it at home. Not recommended as a venue for live performances
The place is lovely, the atmosphere is electrifying and theres enough space for parking.
Great show. I had VIP parking, which made the experience so much easier
What an experience! When ever there is an Expo, the place is packed! Heres a hint, go early! Once inside, movement can be a bit of a challenge as there are a lot of people walking around. There is plenty of parking outside and is pretty safe. There is security at all times. The only downside is when you are in the queue there isnt much shade, do if the sun is up, wear a hat. Once inside, its nice and cool with aircon.
Awesome 👏🏿 sound quality 👌🏿
Went to the Travel expo today. It was a complete waste of time. The prices are not good at all. I paid R43 for a can of flying fish. My partner and I are going abroad to Asia and Europe this year. Flight center advertised huge savings.I had sourced flights on line and I was happy with the price and assumed the tickets would be cheaper at the Travel expo. Both flights schedules pricing was far higher than the prices I had found. The travel agent was not impressed. She told me I should book my ticket on the site as I was not going to get a better deal with them.I had a look at the brochure and those prices seemed pretty standard
Good venue, except the toilets flooded and took ages to clean up. Its ok to get in and out fast.
Medium size exhibition centre located close (walking distance) from shopping mall. Can only share a few pictures from Cat Stevens concert - the venue was definitely well suited.
Great spot for a concert, its well equipped with everything you will need. Its perfect venue for a big concert such Lauryn Hill.
When Sam Smith was in town. Nice big venue just a very long walk
Food Festival last weekend was wonderful!
Rage ... What a cool event at the Dome
Its such a prestigious venue where many exhibitions, shows and events can be held and thousands can attend
Absolutely wonderful, clean bathrooms and great circulation
Had so much fun at Disney on Ice.
I enjoy concerts at the dome. Parking can sometimes be problematic though. But the venue is easy to get to and safe to visit.
Loved it. Disney on ice was fantastic
This is the most amazing event vanue in SA ever
Good concert venue. If you are clever and prepared to walk through the centre, parking and accessing routes to and from the Dome is quite hassle free. Service from concert organizers needs attention. Overall a good night out.
Entrance was easy to access. Huge venue
I lived the place...its spacious and safe.
Sam Smith was amazing. Getting in and out of the venue was a breeze
Africa Automation Fair was great #WIKA Instruments
Disney on ice show was lovely. Very well done and super colourful. I just wish that the management and cast and powers that be, would have remembered there were audience on all three sides of the arena and not just in the front main section. Everything was done so that only the audience in the middle could see and appreciate. We sat on the side and middle way up, and lost out on a lot of the story and the visual effects. However, the bad experience continued..... the seating is exceptionally uncomfortable. The part of the chair that you sit on, the seat, has been cut in half, whereby the end of the seat catches you mid thigh and is very awkward and uncomfortable. The reason for this is obvious, take away the excess room in front of your legs and they can add in extra rows. The width of the chair is also so confined that you cannot move without disturbing your neighbour. Again, make the seats narrower and they can add in extra seats per row. As a short person, 155cm, I battled with the seat. I can only imagine how the average height person battled let alone a tall person. This detracts from the enjoyment immensely. The arrangement was also bad. The angles of the rows are so minimum and close that the children could not see over the heads in front. Which meant that the reason for going became obsolete. R1200.00 for 3x tickets not worth it. The cost of the promotional toys and goods for sale was also horrendous. R275.00 for a wand (R20.00 @chinamall), Over R300.00 for a plastic coloured light stick (R30.00 @chinamall) R160.00 for a plastic cup, R110.00 for candy floss...I repeat..R110.00 for CANDYFLOSS!!! The pressure on a parent to purchase is extreme.
It was awesome. Wine was a bit expensive though, but we had fun. The service personnel inside and outside of the dome were efficient.
Visited hobbyX expo today and it seems to be well organised. Lots of fun things to check out and a variety of things to eat.The designated parking area is R20 to enter, but if youre willing to walk a bit just stop in the Northgate parking area for free.
Great entertainment experience, with Disney on Ice.
Best place to go yearly expos or concerts
Welll not much to speak about the place as it is just similar to a hall. It is well structured for big events and concerts.
Watched Trevor Noah 2017. Great venue, great entertainment.
Huge Venue but never dissapointed when I visit the Ticketpro Dome
We visited for Disney on Ice, it was excellent. The venue is easily accessed with all the amenities. We felt safe and parking was secure.
Sam Smith was amazing! Great atmosphere in the Dome!
Huge venue for events just t WiFi sucks and support staff slow with assistance.. Ample parking conveniently located adjacent to mall.. The Porter and parking assistance should be commended for their positive energy and friendliness
Clean. Well organized.. Just need to add space between the seats..i also dont understand why bottle caps was removed this caused alot of spills and wet floors.
Fantastic size for major events; plenty of secure parking; friendly staff; easy access to amenities and other shopping venues.
Well Organized Events with ample security. Parking organization could be better.
Always well executed events...
Was a fun experience went to see Katy pery af the dome only thing the big screen projectors dident work so made it a bit hard to see the show
Host the best events in jozi
Good place for exhibitions but restaurants cooking smell is so strong to the level of suffocation.
Very Nice place for Events,Expos and Exhibitions
The Ticketpro Dome is an amazing venue especially for large scale events. Its unique dome shape allows it to express a huge volume which enhances the audience experience for any event.
I attended a network 21 event, it was amazing!
Disney on Ice was so stunning
Top class events centre in Northriding
Awesome weekend we had yhooo thanks saca
Such a secure and professionally event venue. Memorable experience watching Sam Smith
World class venues for concerts, trade shows and shows. Always food and drink available as well.
Parking is a nightmare. Show was fantastic.
Good place for events. Has ample parking space.
Its a great place to have fun. There arent seats so if you have bad knees or back, you might wanna sit it out. The venue is great but obviously the performances are whats important. Excellent acoustics though. Everything sounds nice and crisp. Had an incident with a security guard, who was mistreating someone. They need to their guards checked. But all of them were actually sweet and helpful, except for one idiot
Best place for rAge to be held every year
Always a pleasure coming here. They have some superb events during the year. Parking is always accessible and the events here are constantly changing. Something for everyone. Its one of the best places to go see bands live too, as the sound is fantastic.
A world standard event centre
Got to play some of the unreleased games at rage-expo
Went to see Katy Perry and I was immensely impressed by the organisation inside the Dome. Getting in and out was easy and I did not get trampled on as one does at events like these... fab!
Easy accessible and enough parking to go around
Watching Tony Branxton performing 🎭 live, it was amazing
This facility is excellent. No faults really, but the reason for the missing star is the road/ parking infrastructure surrounding the facility which is in dire need of restructuring (not old, just poorly planned). And this is The Domes problem. Upon entering, traffic is poorly controlled. Management should engage with the municipality to improving intersections (add circles, traffic lights, one ways, etc.). There are no traffic lights, meaning no priority arrows when crossing traffic to Dome entrances. So traffic builds up quite significantly affecting non-Dome traffic as well. This facility is so massive that traffic will obviously increase during an event. Even when you are in the parking area, the situation is bad (i.e. one lane to enter and one lane to exit multiple parking areas). Whats worse is that you may need to park quite far from the facilities entrance, however, there are no undercover walkways to reach the facilities, meaning, bring your umbrella on rainy days, or pack that sunscreen for your hike to the entrance. Consider malls or other popular locations that experience a random influx on specific days, youll find that traffic is handled much better, most have undercover parking, or at least undercover walk ways. It really goes a long way in ones overall experience, especially at such a significant location. After your event, give yourself about 30 minutes to get out of the Domes parking area, and good luck in navigating traffic in the immediate surrounding area.
Disney on Ice. Children allways love.
Rage was lit 🔥
The Dome is opposite the Northgate Mall, which makes shopping easy during a show break. There is plenty of parking and the Dome has a lot of restrooms you can use, with concession stands available for hungry stomachs
I love the beauty of this stadium. Its so awesome. So cool. In a very hot weather of Johannesburg, you experience the coolest temperatures inside the Dome.Well! Well managed and cool staff members who know their job. We had a grand Ironman program. We enjoyed every moment!!
Very spacious and nice place to have big events. Watched Cat Stevens and Johnny Glegg there recently. FANTASTIC!
Great memories here! Not the best venue for acoustics...
What a glorious service weve had. The word of God works.
It was fun, we went there for Disney on ice
Have gone for many concerts here. Secret: arrive early, leave early. Traffic here can be a pain.
Always great
World class events venue, well maintained, well secured, next to a mall, enough parking for guests.
Enjoyed it was awesome.
LoveLeigh Baby exhibited here during the Mama Magic Baby Expo.
Not sure why, but it feels like theyre being stingy with the air on yesterday then making us freeze today... 😖... safe though, friendly people, good vibes
The show was superb. No ATMs were working, very expensive on snacks and cold drinks.
