Yesterday off line after waiting for 5 hours, loadshedding. Today online when I walked in. Then suddenly offline, but fortunately it came on rather quickly and the queue disappeared.... the consultant who helped me, very professional & quick. Thank you...

Bad communicationPeople have been standing in line from 7:30 to 8:30 with no knowledge that the line had already been cut .There was so much people standing in line around 8 and they had to go home with no assistanceThis is very disappointing because the sassa office only closes at 4pm

Roodepoort they treat people bad I went there around 7:30 i was in a que so I went to get affidavit around 8 and I told the people next to me that Im coming back I came back around 9:30 they told me to go back home because they have already cut the line its not fair because I showed them the person who was behind me but still they didnt care they told me to go home I even asked to talk to the manager but the they told me to go I waisted my transport money for nothing. so people if you want to apply for grant dont go to roodepoort offices rather go to other offices.
Inside is fine but outside there is no social distancing
Terrible no sense of urgency.People can be assisted faster during covid but it takes an hour or more for a consultant to assist one person. I was actually timing them. There are om their cells for half an hour. Some help one person and dissappear for more30monService is unacceptable at all levels.

Under such duress the staff are doing an excellent job. It may not appear so to desperate people - as I am too but what happens on the system is beyond their control.I am really grateful to everyone who has just faced Covid face to face, for being there with such energy to help as many people as they are able. The experience today at SASSA was so bad. The lady in charge cut off the queue at 08:55 saying they have taken enough for the day even though our appointments where for today. Imagine, you are not working and you are supposed to be there everyday. Not fair at all.
Had the most aweful experience at Sassa...We all had to stand outside in the freezing cold and rain, for hours on end....Then we were given dates to come back in a months time, as they closed for a meeting....There is plenty space inside ti allow people to go inside...Why everyone had to stand and freeze and get soaking wet, is beyond me...Especially the elderly and mothers with small babies...I am now sick in bed...I am diabetic and a stroke victim and have a low immune system...
The office is disorganized. People que in the sun. If you want to be assisted, you must arrive extra early.
Guys Im unemployed and I applied for covid 19 social relief fund since March this year 2020 till now its November nothing has happened.I kept on applying online by email,ussd string and WhatsApp nothing is said ,I phone Sassa head office nr it is always busy ,I use toll free number is always full I went to Sassa office,they took my Id and check on the system then they told me there is no money granted to me without explanation.Good people Im so fustrated that I dont know what must I do I got kids to maintain Im not working

The worse place ever the system have been off for the past 3 weeks and they cannot assist the people, elders having to go back and forth all the time and then the service they get is also pathetic, government is all about caring for the elderly and this is the treatment they get time and time again.

It is such a shame that people who are placed to serve at this branch are not wholeheartedly serving the people like they should. The queue gets cut while you woke up to line by 06:00 am. Taxi fare gets wasted for someone like me from Cosmo city. People working in public services forget Ubuntu and to serve, what a sad experience i had. The branch in Joburg has people who know why they are working for sassa, very helpful and not lazy.

Waited for service from 07h30 and was only assisted at 10h30. I was at the office at 06h00 and doors opened at 07h00 to allow people in. 2 staff members were at the desks we were told staff was on leave. However the 1 staff member did not assist at all.However more staff arrived at 08h30 and disappeared to the back only started working at 09h00.There was 1 staff member who just sat behind his computer doing nothing. He disappeared for an hour came back and still did not assist. Are they not paid to work?

Why are you closed really? You leave a note stating you dont have protective gloves & masks.A lie ,how could you not have while you are government related association?? I dont work but I have those.Furthermore,president says you must be open to assist people.You a disappointment, you earn salary at home with our money sitting at home there
Sassa in Roodepoort is dezast if you can change management. They dont care about people who are coming there for saves. All workers in Roodepoort is about them not anyone else

This place is so disorganized. Here from 7:20, its now 8:40 and not 1 person has been served at any of their 12 counters. Whats going on? It seems such a shame that we put our elderly through this punishment of long ques and getting nowhere. Work it out. Get organized and start doing online applications like other Government departments.

Utterly disgusting, we arrived at 10am. after dealing with a rude and very racist gentlemen at the boom entry to the parking area, (Told we are not allowed to park inside unless in a wheelchair), he then let about 6 other vehicles inside, NONE of which were in a wheelchair. When I asked where their wheelchairs were, I was told do you f**king own this place. Anyway after that we were not even able to get INSIDE your building as we were Too late, they have closed the queue for today, the place is full inside. Any yet your hours are between 8am and 16.30? How does that work? Krugersdorp turned others away and sent them to Roodepoort, only to be turned away. Utterly disgusting and unacceptable!!
