Booked a car in because there was a problem with it. Then when I went to fetch it, they said they had fixed it and it was fine. Less than a month later its still got the same problem...Im even thinking that they did nothing to it, seems like the fuel consumption went up too, wont even be reimbursed for it...So what to do now? Void the warranty and get my own guy to fix it? Or rely on Nissan? After they told me they had fixed it...but no they didnt

Buying a car from this dealership is a pleasure but boy oh boy - be warned about the service department. My partner & I will NEVER ever buy another Nissan again after this experience.We took our car for its first service in the middle of November 2020 - Grant assisted us and we notified him that the radio doesnt work. He assured us that the car is under warranty and had us sign paperwork and told us he will be in touch once he has feedback from the warranty claim.It is now February and I have left several messages for someone to assist me. Guess what, Grant has never ever been in touch. No one returns my calls either. Eventually, I got hold of Allen (the service department manager). He advised that I need to bring the car back in for them to check the radio serial number and do the paperwork).Once again proving that Grant never did his job properly. This is now extra time & money that I need to spend to get my brand new car in proper working condition.It has also been brought to my attention that none of the dealerships work together and they wont help you if you want to go to a dealership closer to home.If you are considering buying a car through this dealership - please reconsider. And definitely, do not get your car serviced there.PS - I have updated my review as Allan did call once again & tried to resolve the issue. We will visit the dealership once we are back from our trip to see if they are able to fix it.

The most amazing service in the service department. Great workmanship and quality work done. If there are additional unforeseen costs say for example brake pads or brake discs being needed, the service advisor first calls you to agree this before fitting to ensure no unpleasant surprises when you get the bill.

One the worst Nissan dealerships in the country, my car was booked in for a recall campaign for this morning, I was told that the recall repairs will take about an hour and I should wait for the car. After almost 3 hours my car is still not repaired and waiting. Called the dealership ask for the service manager they cut my call, asked to speak to the dealer principal told he is away in Australia. The reception lady is one of the worst persons you can ever talk to, she is rude and assumes she owns the dealership. Called Nissan South Africa waiting for a call back.

Mostly I go there for Parts because they have a larger than average warehouse so you walk out with the item you were there to buy. Then wrt to their workshop, they are the best out the ~6 dealers that I have used over a 15yr period. Perhaps a benefit of being a GTR centre as well, so a higher level of training? Good coffee and a cafe on-site! I am yet to buy a car from them but i promptly got attended to on the times that I have been in the showroom.

I had a better experience buying a fake car from a crook on OLX! If you do not want to feel robbed spending lots of money at a dealership, rather use another Nissan dealer. Great product but really bad service. Very easy and quick to buy a car, but huge struggles after that.
Good service, very flexible. They missed something I asked them for feedback on and I hope theyll improve on that next time I take my Qashqai for a service. Oh, and they offer free warm beverages 🙂

Descent service but waaaaaaaaay overpriced. Got quoted R4 600 for a globe and got a second quote from another private dealer for R800.They also charge over R1000 just to look at the car.

I was lost to get to coffee room from service department.No one took me there indluding security.The guy at the service department he was not that professional I asked him about the guy I had appointment with from sales he said they dont have such name until I asked him if was that Nissan he then said go to sales.I went there for fixing the car appointment was set but it was am a lost man in London. The help at service department was not that ayoba compared to Pretoria one.

They are more expensive than any other service dealer, and they do a crap job....after arguing with some young idiot called Grant, I took it to another service center, who charged the correct price, re-did the job, and did it correctly!!!! The truth is these guys dont deserve any business!!!

Had taken my Navara to another dealer closer to home to check an oil leak and update my infotainment screen, they could not identify the leak and told me there was no update for the infotainment. Took my bakkie to Nissan Melrose on Tuesday, oil leak was identified with the promise that the new part would be ordered and ready for fitment on Thursday. Infotainment was updated. Back on Thursday for new part, bakkie received back by lunch time. Thanks Hennie.The cappuccino was excellent and the drop off to and from my office with the courtesy car driver was great and on time.I will be taking my Navara to Nissan Melrose for my future servicing.
Poor service based on skin colour as well as weigh you if you are a first car buyer who doesnt know his or her own rights. They kept the vehicle for almost two months saying theyre waiting for a certain part from Japan or Germany to fix the top of the car. Without offering is a courtesy car. Only after the owner had spoken to Nissan SA and advised that she should be given a courtesy car. Thats when they decided to do half job without pressure testing the the Top. Within a week they declared the car is ready to be collected. Avoiding to issue courtesy car. Same day I collected it, it overheated. Took it back but told to keep on driving. Later when the vehicle was booked in at Nissan Sandton for the same problem it was discovered the part they claimed was new was not. We were not issued with any invoices of any job done, until we requested them. No invoice was showing any new part that was replaced. The vehicle was smeared with some sylicon on the carberator which the removed after complaint. They might do good job to their friends, family and to those they feel has enough cash to sue them. Not to anyone else. Grant and the other guy were the consultants.

Update 16/02/16: the staff at this branch has changed since 2016. at that point the staff service was absolutely dismal! perhaps thats why the staff has changed. I want to just thank the NEW staff, especially Marina Loggenberg and her assistant patricia for solving all sorts of old problems from 2016. now I would definitely recommend this place!January 2018: i dont know what is going on at this branch. at first I thought that the service was good last year when I bought my micra. the staff was friendly and efficient. but after a year i discovered that my car was registered under somebody elses name despite the fact that I am paying for the car!!! what incompetent idiots!!! I cannot get a licence renewal! and now I hear that the staff that helped me last year have now left!After my car was re-registered , i went to the post office to get a licence, but the post office told me that because its a new licence I had to go to randburg municipal department [randburg library] to apply for a new licence which meant that I have to wait for hours. I ORIGINALLY PAID MELROSE NISSAN TO DO ALL THESE THINGS FOR ME AND NOW I AM DOING IT MYSELF!
