A lovely place, staff so friendly especially Theo that served us. The food was delicious, we had Portuguese croissants!Have got custard tarts, Almond pastry and Carrot towers to take home to Durban. Shall post photos later and tell you all how they tasted! The custard tart is to die for!

Great gem of a place. Been there twice so far, staff are very helpful and friendly.There little snacks are nice , although , just my personal taste here ,there is a little too much dough in them and not enough filling.Their Chai latte is good and the cappuccino is also made well, they use good coffee.Will try a sit in and try their main meals, they look good :)Will definitely recommend it if you want something different

Bem Bom is a restaurant with Portuguese heritage - in fact, its predecessor was called Belem. They keep pastel de nata, including sugar-free natas; these are just as good. There are loads of gems in the menu worth exploring.

What a fantastic discovery. We grabbed the pastiche de Nata and some fried savory snacks. Cant remember what theyre called. The pastiche taste authentic!

Bembom has recently reopened under new Management, they had closed down for revamping which is now complete.I had a light lunch toasted chicken and mayonnaise with chips Very tasty, the atmosphere is very pleasant not crowded, Covid protocols in practice.Have not been here in ages makes a difference after a while not visiting. Keep it up Management. Thank You .

So tired of the normal 10 000 variations of bacon and eggs. Come here for something refreshingly different, start with a cafe bembom coffee which is a serving of filter coffee with a delicious thick layer of condensed milk on the bottom. Then try one of rissoles stuffed with prawns, chicken or whatever else they may have. So reasonable and so many options

I like the service I got, they sorted my car out, their prices are very good, Ryno helped me, I had to leave my car over night, but they made sure it was fixed. Very good decent pricing.

If it wasnt for the fairly better than average food and the friendliness of our hostess, I wouldve given this place a 1 star. The regulars seem to stare unnecessarily too long making for a very uncomfortable visit. The food alone will not be enough to get me to visit here again, a shame since I really did enjoy the food.
