Really nice cafe but the service is not the best. The food is good although it is quite pricey and not massive serving sizes. The cake selection is always good and the cakes themselves are really good. The coffee is also normally very good. I just wish the service was a bit more friendly.

Friendliness of staff could be improved but thats my only complaint.The food is superb, and to have breakfast with a view is a real treat.Its fairly pricey, in the Mugg and Bean range or a bit more, but Id happily pay again.You can sit inside or outside and seating is comfortable for those on their own as well as sitting in groups

Decent food with lively atmosphere and helpful staff; they have an all-day breakfast and lunch menu, with good variety for vegans and meat-lovers. Had the Berry Pot and Scrambled Eggs on toast which was really great 💯

Bit of a mixed bag with this Woolworths Cafe-waited quite a while and then were rushed to a dirty table anyway-after which the waitress disappeared. Eventually went to get menus myself. Finally caught the managers eye and order everything-clearly wasn’t passed on as the waitress then came to retake it after 15mins. Fresh justice arrived(obviously freshly squeezed but for the price it was pathetic). Asked for a bottled water and was given a screw top jar(warm) and a tiny glass. After asking for the food several times was utterly disappointed. Minuscule portion, cold with a tiniest of dribbling of sauce over the eggs. English muffin was more like a wafer flatbread and was tough from standing. Other food didn’t arrive and eventually mustard that was requested arrived when I was finished. After a hunt for the CC machine and a couple of failed attempts at connection she finally got it right.Could be so great, just such terrible service let’s them down.

Friendly staff. Unexpected breakfast place at the Rosebanks woolworths cafe. Had the green bowl which was something new on the menu. Bf had the fruit bowl which was delicious! The house made granola was really good. No complains about the green bowl of mine but I kept stealing the granola off from the fruit bowl and adding it onto mine. Coffee was decent also! Comes in two sizes: medium and grande.

Soggy breakfast wrap. This has never happened at any other Woolies Cafe I’ve been to. I order it because it’s always delicious. Service was surprising fine despite the bad reviews (maybe they’re improving?). Honey Nut Latte was good.

I just walked in here and ordered a simple country style pie, when it arrived it was ice cold. It took forever for this matter to be rectified and I was sent a cappuccino before even being consulted(which I don’t even drink). the manager, who did not come and address me immediately took forever to show face, and I had to ask someone to call him eventually. He’s response was, “can I just put it in the microwave for you?” I am a huge fan of Woolworths eatery’s however I do not recommend this Rosebank joint to anyone, nether will I ever step foot into it again. Terribly Poor service 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Not sure what was going on this afternoon but the service was super slow!!! Had to get up and ask for someone to come and take our order. We were not the only table that had do this despite the place bit being busy at all. When we did get service we were told that they didnt have the Golden Chai. The waitress took the rest of our order only to come back later to say that they also did not have the coconut water or the Elixir shot that we wanted. Might have just been a one off experience but maybe better to choose a different cafe.

I used to go to this cafe on a regular basis. However, on 18 September 2018 my bag was stolen in the cafe by a person who posed as a customer, and that while a security guard was standing just outside the cafe. I would recommend to all customers to keep a close watch on their possessions when in the cafe.

Had a early morning meeting here. Food was good and came quickly after ordering. We were there for about three hours - didnt see the waiter after our first order. However, he was very helpful and friendly when we needed our bill and during seating/serving. Will definitely come again.

May 22 afternoon: After a heavy breakfast at Fournos and then shopping, decided to stop over for coffee at Starbucks. However, there was a long line and hence decided to come to W Café. We have been to other outlets and can say that these cafes have their own feel and vibe just like other coffee chains. This outlet is quite open. We ordered the passion fruit cheese cake. The crust at the bottom was good and the cheese cake was yum. The normal cappuccino was nice and the vanilla & cinnamon cappuccino was also good. The service was warm and attentive. Good place to hang out after shopping.

What you would expect from a Woolworths Cafe, food and coffee is great, just funny how all of the W-Cafes have long wait times for waiters and food.

Boy was this place packed from day one! This cafe is attached to what Im told is now the largest Woolworths in South Africa. The vibe is trendy and busy but that could be because it had just opened but the service was very professional (touch slow, but again it was busy).Delicious food, but then we all know were the ingredients come from ;-)The new idea (at least to me) that I really liked was the W To Go tuckshop type opening on the side of the building which allows those of us in the office blocks nearby to catch a quick caffeine fix on our way to work without having to walk in and out of the mall.
