Refuse to return my money of a trip THEY canceled.I dont care of its Covid, its not my fault and i feel they cant keep my money.The cancelation was of no action or fault of mine and they simply state its nonrefundable even tho I did everything right and they canceled the trip.

Vathiswa forgot to tell me I needed a yellow fever injection before going to Brazil. I got all the way to departures and was not allowed on the plane as I didnt have a yellow fever certificate. The stress this caused on the day I was supposed to board was unbelievable. I missed my flight and had to pay R5 198 for the flight the next day. There were no refunds from Trafalgar for this. I will not use Trafalgar again or any of their associated companies.

The Trafalgar team in Johannesburg is incompetent, unapologetic, unreliable and lack customer care to the highest degree. I booked a trip with Vathiswa, she asked for details of my passport. I asked what type of details she wanted because I thought she wanted the passport number which was already in their systems. She never bothered to let me know that by details she meant copies. A few weeks down the line, I received a call from Sheila in accounts saying that the bank told them I paid an amount of about R27 000 and wanted to know what is that for. I informed her its for our flights. A few minutes later, Vathiswa sent an email saying she has asked for copies of our passports several times and we have failed to do so. This time she did not say details; she said copies. Anyway, it turned out that she never booked our flights and has to book at a higher amount. If she had been specific from day one, we would have sent copies of our passports. If she had replied to my email; we would have sent copies of our passports, if she had followed up, we would still have sent her copies. Instead, she forgot about our flight payments until Sheila informed her about the money in their account.Anyway, we cancelled the trip and asked for a refund, Vathiswa called to say the refund has been processed on the same day. Two days later, Sheila sent me an email to say, the payment will be processed the following day; then she later said, it will processed the same day. I had paid them R66 000 and needed to pay the alternative agent I found; but I was getting contradictory information about when exactly the money was processed or if it has been processed at all. In all this Michelle the manager protects Vathiswa and told me she did nothing wrong. Both Vathiswa and Michelle kept saying they are sorry I am feeling this way and not sorry about the root cause of my cancellation because in their opinion they did nothing wrong and felt no need to take accountability or apologise for their mistakes. Michelle told straight that there is nothing to apologise for. I have never seen such type unprofessionalism. I am shocked!
