Love the store but the long ques to pay are irksome. The hot food counter is totally under staffed throughout the week and there are never pancakes on Sundays. Plenty of shelf packers but lacks manager visibility.

Usually love this checkers but I have now had two bad experiences in a row and I am not impressed. I went in the other day to buy two items quickly. Went to the express till to try and pay quickly, it took double the time the other queue would’ve been. Only 1 teller available and no urgency was shown. Asked someone to assist and they just walked away ignoring me.Today tried to buy something at the checkers liquor store. The staff were very unhelpful and unenthusiastic and dragged their feet. I tried to buy some wine that was on special. Luckily I was paying attention as it didn’t reflect on the bill. I tried to explain the situation and was told it was for a different wine when the label clearly stated the same brand. I then had to wait for a manager who did not apologise for the delay or problem and was not very friendly. Not happy with the service at all.

The checkers sixty delivery service is perfect, but they constantly deliver items past their expiry date!!!

We love Checkers in the neighbourhood... the staff are very helpful and friendly. We love sitting at the coffee shop...the coffee is delicious and affordable the staff there are friendly. The whole experience is pleasurable there as we enjoy being in the open.

Working in the linskfield , going out for luch to checkers for something to eat at it is utterly discusting paying R22.99 for wors rolltjie and its dry bearly souce ,i got 3 jaffels , some chips 2 colddrinks , its my second time here and what a waste of space , never in my life will i eat or go here .

Decent, has pretty much everything your local grocer should have. Vegetables and fruits is a little bit more pricier though

A very nice family centre. Not too big with a good mix of tenants. Nice eateries . Will go there often . Checkers is a beautiful clean store , helpful staff. Recommend this centre for convenience and appearance.

Definitely a checkers fan, enjoy to fill my basket of provisions.

The people working in the vitamin and food areas are the best and most informative that I have experienced in ZA! Plus, they are just really nice and personable!Good stock. Mostly, if you want a good shopping experience and expert care; this is the place!

I guess i should thank the bakery staff this morning that simply decided theyd rather stand around and laugh amongst themselves than serve a customer that I ended up spending substantially less than I needed to.

Is it just me having a bad run atm. I love the store, the staff are great but within the last few months, I had to return a tub of ice cream that was defrosted and refrozen, salad leaves in bags are rotten within a few days, and now today, I bought this from their HMR section yesterday and having it for lunch now and it tastes disgusting and slimy.

I can compare it with woolworths. The quality and friendliness of staff. Woolworths better watch out Checkers at Neighborhood is snatching all your customers. Best place to be and it feels warm and safe

Its a lovely store but they sell stale baked goods.

I love this Checkers, the staff are great, food is always fresh and the store is neat and clean.

Came shopping here and was helped by very unfriendly staff and I accidentally left my keys behind. When I called the store. The lady couldnt be bother to help me. On top of that she kept calling me madam.... Im a man. Not great checkers, pick up your levels of service
