I had great service at the butchery, very friendly. I have no problems with checkers.

It complies with covid-19 regulations, a mask is required and there are safety dividers at checkout. The cashier that served me was friendly too, plus you get a free parking ticket when you shop there (not sure if its with specific products or not though).

I must state upfront that I think this store is poorly run. We have frequented this shop every time we go to Mall of the south, but the simple fact that you have 5 cashiers open, on a Saturday at month end simply baffles the mind. Customers honestly do NOT like standing in a queue for a cashier for half an hour just to buy a few things. The store itself is lovely to shop at, BUT they should change the store manager. He clearly has no focus on customers..

Horrible customer service. Not a single person seems to care about customer satisfaction. Should have gone to the Pick n Pay.

Open space

Even amidst the covid 19 pandemic this store has so much to offer shoppers in terms of variety. Its well maintained and the aisles are spacious so theres more than enough room for trolleys and shoppers!!!!

Really neat and well laid out store with a wide variety of products available. It is easily accessible even if you dont park near the closest entrance thanks to the lifts in the shopping centre.The staff are friendly but its a bit of a problem when there are only 2 checkout points open because it creates unnecessary queues. I especially go shopping off peak times to avoid queues and then Im forced to be in one anyway.Many banks these days are using cash at till withdrawals and you need to do this especially for FNB to maintain your ebucks reward level, but the cashiers dont have sufficient cash in their till to enable you to make a convenient withdrawal.A bonus is that your first hour of parking is free if you shop at Checkers and they currently have a promotion where you get coupons for R20, R40 etc to spend on the weekend depending on how much you spend.

Nice big checkers, Youll find everything and more. Just needs more cashiers on busy days.

The one hour free parking value R7 reduces to R1 discount if you stay for more than an hour. The arithmetic stinks. Ive complained to checkers and the Mall of the south management to no logical explanation. Wake up checkers

Checkers has a great variety of food and you get a little garden kit that you can grow like veggies , flowers and herbs

If you want to catch covid go this place. Post of the packers wear their masks below thier noses and some below their lips. Shocking that checkers would allow thier staff to endanger the customers like this.

Shocking experience, will NEVER go back to Checkers Mall of the South. It actually puts you off going to ANY checkers at all!!Multiple products were incorrectly priced at this checkers which resulted in delaying me for roughly 15-20 minutes while I walked around with staff to prove the displayed prices for each item.Multiple staff argued while tring to figure out pricing but ultimately 1 cheese product which I wanted to purchase 4 of, that was clearly marked at R17.99 the staff proceeded to argue was in fact R67.99And this was not per 100 Grams but infact the item as a whole. More over all 4 cheeses which were exactly the same weight came back at this price when new codes were sent to the scales.But regardless the error was theirs and the product should have been sold at the display price, not argued over for 15 minutes.The 5 person crowd of staff ultimately refused to sell the product at the displayed price.Will never go back again!

Really upset, when asking for cash back cashiers give back a very bad attitude, can they not jst say they dont have the money in a polite way, absolutely disgusted by their attitude

Great selection of items, nice health food section, including a wide selection of gluten free items, staff friendly. Fish not always fresh, be aware that the prices on the floor and at the tills are not always consistent.

The range in this store not as good as many other Checkers stores. Many out of stock items past Saturday
