We stayed for my husbands birthday at Kapama Buffalo Camp for 2 nights, 10-12 May 2021. Wow! What a place! Value-for-money, cozy, small and intimate with professional, friendly and helpful staff. Everyone go out of their way to make you feel welcome, to give you your privacy if you need it and to make sure you see good game on the drives. Some place I will definitely recommend, and the only way to experience 5 * plus is to stay there.

When we arrived, the reception was very friendly. We had the most fantastic breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for 3 days. The kitchen did everything in its power to satisfy the groups needs from vegetarian to garlic intolerance. On the game drives, we had all of the experiences from looking at the smallest of animals to the largest, we saw rhino, giraffes, buffalo, hippo, lion, hyena, chameleon, lots of different spiders, 102 different birds, genet, honey badgers, elephants, porcupine, warthogs, impala, wildebeest, bushbucks, duiker, steenbuck, zebra, dung beetles, bushbaby, leopard, we had 4X4 driving, sunset drinks and sunrise brofees with dip ‘n Oma.All that I can say is that all the staff were absolutely great. From Claire, Chantelle, and Langu, who took us through the rules, took our temperatures, sorted out all of the admin be it at arrival and after leaving, getting equipment that we had forgotten behind to us, in the most patient and pleasant wayHancho our guide who has an incredible knowledge of the bush from the birds to the mammals and the insects. Vusi our assistant guide had the plant species sorted plus the tracking.Chris who took us on a game walk we had a great time and learned a lot fromThe Ladies in the kitchen were fantastic, Vasti and Rose, supplied us with the best meals out and made sure that everybody from the vegetarians to the garlic intolerant people was accommodated. The food was cooked to perfection, the presentation was beautiful and the flavours delicious. The barmen, waiters, Ben, Rassie, Hancho, Chris, Langu, and Kaletso made sure that we were never dry and that everything ran smoothly during meals.Thank you all for making our three days with you absolutely fantasticLooking forward to our next visit

This is the only tented camp of the Kapama collection, but wow is it beautiful! The suites are built on stilts giving it a beautiful tree house effect. The infinity pool is crystal clear and the general public areas feel very homey and inviting! The rooms are fully kitted out with mini bar and coffee machines. Nice and spacious and perfect for anyone to stay there.

Amazing experience. Wonderful place. We had the best time at Buffalo Camp on Kapama Private Game Reserve. It really was a trip of a lifetime - although Im sure well be back! The service, food, friendliness of staff, setting, rooms, facilities and cleanliness were all 5* and cannot be flawed, but the game drives were by far the jewel in the crown. Being with Monika and Foster every day for a week was a real pleasure - they were a joy to spend time with and incredibly knowledgeable. We could ask them just about anything to do with nature and wildlife and they would know the answer. Great people. Great place. Utterly brilliant holiday.

A boutique type of resort, peaceful and quiet (only 20 guests). The luxurious tents are very comfortable.Friendly and relaxed staff, with lots of humour. The safari starts already on the way from the airport with the jeep - you immediately see girafes and zebras on the way. Great !Food is not the finest but wine selection (all inclusive) is excellent. The safari are great thanks to passionate guides and trackers. We would definitely come back here.

Magnificent, simply an unforgettable trip. Program for couples, family or friends. There is no mistake. The hotel is fantastic (we stayed at Buffalo Camp) all the staff very well cooked, impressive. I went on a honeymoon, but I will come back with children so that they understand the beauty of nature and see that it is possible for humans and animals to live harmoniously in one place.

Nice camp with comfortable tents, unfortunately hardly any view because in the middle of the bush. All inclusive offer, unfortunately food and drinks included rather very simple.Somewhat inflexible staff: If you forego the morning drive, there is no breakfast until everyone is back. Not even a coffee is offered. A NoGo in this price range!

We stayed 3 nights in the buffalo camp and had 6 game drives. We found this to be the best time. The camp is very nicely laid out and the drive from the maingate to the camp is fascinating. We have already seen some animals there. When we arrived at the camp, we were warmly welcomed and allowed to hand over our car keys. Our luggage was brought to our tent and the car was parked. There was a warm towel and a very tasty welcome drink. The check-in took place comfortably in the couch area. Then we were brought into our tent and it is like the pictures. Very great facilities and a view of the wilderness. We had animals in front of our balcony and a monkey was visiting on the balcony. The first day started with lunch and at 16:30 the first game drive took place. On the morning of the day of departure you have the last one.The food was delicious and the selection was good. Because there are a maximum of 20 guests in the camp, it is very pleasant and not a mass event. The day begins with the wake up call and the morning game drive. We had Jeffrey as the driver and Douglas as the spotter. A top team that showed us so many animals and provided us with information.Jeffrey is a great ranger, with incredible people skills. He manages to inspire the participants of the game drive regardless of which country the guests come from. Big compliments to you both !!!We saw the big 5 and the search for the leopard was pure adventure.
